This place is located in the middle of all the breweries and bars so you can just grab a drink and get fries and chicken fingers from this place and enjoy. Got medium fries with spicy sambal dip(must try). Fries were made to order and crispy. If you are a spicy food lover like me ask them to sprinkle the Peri Peri on your fries and thank me later 😉

Great poutine is served hot, with the curds and gravy tossed in with the fries, like a hot salad, hot enough for the curds to melt. On our recent visit, this wasn’t that, at all. The gravy was under the fries, in one corner of the paper bowl. The fries were unbearably salty and lukewarm. The cheese curds were piled on top, still cold from the fridge, all completely obscured by the incredibly salty fried shallots (optional), with the “runny boiled egg” option perched on top, ice cold. THAT was weird. They took care to make sous vide boiled eggs, like you’d find in a Japanese convenience store, but served cold, they’re disgusting. We’d hoped for better after what we read about Saus. At $9, they’re cheaper than dirt (compared to potting soil on Amazon), but this time, anyway, totally lacking in TLC from the kitchen.

Great, affordable food in downtown. Chicken sandwiches… ten bucks… great. Some of the best fries in Boston. Best honey mustard sauce I’ve had. Lobster Roll was very good. Triple D stop.

Guy Fieri never lets us down! I visited this spot TWICE while on vacation to Boston. The first time was on a super hot day and with my husband. We ordered drinks, poutine, a chicken sandwich, and a frik special. The poutine was okay - the gravy felt really processed to me like opening up a jar and just pouring it on. I loved the huge cheese curds and the fries by themselves were good. The frik was oddly amazing. It was like a hot dog shaped meatloaf. The sauces were so good - curry ketchup?! I wanted to take some sauces to go but we weren't sure if they'd survive the drive home. My husband's chicken sandwich was really good - nice big piece of juicy yet crunchy chicken, lots of that mayo, and lettuce/pickle game on point. Our first experience was so good that a few days later when my husband and I had split for the day, I was indecisive about what to eat for solo lunch and I ended up back here to get a chicken sandwich for myself. This time, the piece of chicken seemed thinner and there was less of the mayo. Overall: solid flavors, mixed opinions on the poutine, and a tiny bit of inconsistency but I would absolutely recommend this place!

The bourbon cherry bacon was good, got it with brined pork bratwurst. However they were out of the bacon for the to go order which was the really what attracted me to the sandwich so had to dock a star for that

This was FANTASTIC! This place could definitely be my go to every night! POUTINE!!!! Yup, thank you! This was a meal in itself!! Get it with the egg!! #sogood!!! I had the fish sandwich and the fresh homemade hot 'saus' hit the mark!!! The IPA selection is out of this world too!!! You CANNOT go wrong here! So, when in Boston, visit Saus!!!! Yup! You're welcome!

Good fries, nothing spectacular. They reminded me of the fries at Five Guys.

My vegan kimchi ranch chicken sandwich was so delicious, with the Tender “chicken” fried to perfection! Loved that everything on the menu can be made vegan so I will definitely be back to try different items

AMAZING. Seriously check this place out. Got the Nutty Cilantro bowl with arugula. So much flavor in every single bite - it didn't even feel like I was eating a salad. The chicken nuggets are heavenly. Juicy and the flavor of the batter is to die for. The poutine was alright, not a big poutine girl, but the fries with the truffle ketchup and curry ketchup were delicious. Tables are super close together, small space, but didn't really matter because the food is so good.

So dang good! Got the chicken Sammy with kimchi and it was fantastic. Cut fries were quite crispy. Fry sauces were quite tasty. I challenge you to find a better filling lunch in Boston for $15!

The overall presentation was awesome! The restaurant was clean, open kitchen design, friendly staff and convently located. We ordered the lobster roll, chicken sandwich and sausage hotdog. The food was well seasoned, freshly prepared, fairly priced and large portions. If your in the city don't forget to visit.

Had poutine for the first time and was not bad at all. The fries were good and rustic but not the greatest I've ever eaten. Friendly and fast service and very decent prices. A bit salty for European taste buds but that's generally the case in the US.

Got the cowboy brat and the bourbon cherry brat along with the big poutine. Everything was served pretty lukewarm, cheese on the poutine was especially cold. Basically just threw some cheese curds out of the fridge on the gravy fries. Cowboy brat is like a big chili dog, very good. The bourbon cherry dog is basically just a cranberry salad on a brat. Doesn't work, wasn't good. Crowded atmosphere, hard to get a seat at 7pm. Clean bathroom downstairs, friendly service. Not bad, but was hoping for a bit better.

This restaurant is perfect for a couple specific situations. If you’re coming back from out of the country and are craving some greasy delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, or just some fries then this your place. You drank a little too much at happy hour and need a quick bite to eat, this place will fill you right up. I have no complaints, this place is perfect for what it is

Cant say enough amazing things about Saus. It was on DD&D for a reason! The southern crispy, cauliflower falafel, & kimchi ranch crispy sandwiches are all incredible. Even better if you make them spicy. All of the sauces are amazing, you can get an enormous plate of food that will keep you full all day for like 20 bucks. Free water and in house hot sauce up for grabs at all times. I cone here at least once a month, if not more! I go out of my way to come here and id recommend it to anyone! Lots of vegan options too! The ONLY down side is that the seating is not abundant, very very tiny and loud space and seats fill up fast.

This place is great. Everyone was super friendly and their food is delicious! Definitely try their poutine.

When planning our visit to Boston, we read that Saus was a must. I completely agree. I had the Kimchi Chicken Sando and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in my life. I absolutely devoured it. The poutine was chock-full of cheese curds. I tasted the pineapple teriyaki sando and it was great too. The service was fast and friendly. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. Highly, highly recommend checking it out.

My second time returning to Saus. I was craving the chicken nuggets and kimchi poutine I tried the first time. Was just as awesome as the first time. Saus has the best fast food in the area

Tasty sandwiches and delicious fries with very unique dipping sauces. I honestly want to go back just to try more of the sauces. The restaurant is really small and cramped though, so it doesn't seem like the most comfortable space to eat in.

We really enjoyed this place and felt it was a good value for the cost. We got a crispy chicken sandwich and poutine and both were delicious! Totally recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

You've come to Boston, you're in Faneuil Hall and want delicious food but don't want to pay a hundred dollars. This is it. Beer. Poutine. Sandwiches. Quick and Delicious. No need to say anymore

Got the poutine and it was bland. The chicken sandwich was decent - it had a good flavor but not a lot of meat to it. The staff was not very friendly and seemed slightly annoyed. Wishing I would have got the chef special burger instead of the Chicken sandwich. My wife got the crunchy goddess salad - she said it was basic They have bathrooms downstairs if you need to look for one.

Great location. Great services. I order pork belly and only got 1 tiny pices. Didn't like the gravy that much. I think need more flavor

One Word…”Poutine!” Hand cut, sea salted fries and Sambal or Kimchi topped Poutine??! No wonder Guy Fieri has this place on his show… Diners, Drive Ins and Dives! Other recommended mentionables: Kimchi-Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, Cowboy Style Brats w/ scallions and slaw!

I was really looking forward to this place for a long time! Fries came delivered to me at about an inch and a half in size. Employee didn't care. Beers in cans, inside of a chiller were not even cold. Employees seemed miserable about the heat... AC was barely running, I was sweating inside. On a major heat wave day? Awful. Fries are supposed to be old because they apparently make a better tasting french fry, but these bordered on being almost stale. I call BS on them making a better french fry anyhow, I've had better fries at plenty of other places. They were overcooked too but maybe that was because of how they've aged, idk. Only positive was that they were fried fresh and hot. All in all, everyone made themselves look bad here. It will be hard to come back to this place unless it's convenient, I want poutine, or they offer me a better free experience.

Great tasting food, as usual. It was a little weird when I went because there's was no staff to be found when I walked in, but when she finally showed up, she apologized and was friendly. She explained that she was all alone and needed to run for supplies. I ordered the Kimchi-Ranch Crispy, a side of fries, with the Curry Ketchup. Everything came out in a great time and tasted great, considering there were other customers.

Worth buying! They have beer and icecream float there too! The kimchi tastes good with the poutine flavor as well.

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never been dissatisfied with the food! Great quality! Even though it’s great, it seems unnecessary to charge extra for more sauce…

  • 4/5 DarNell T. 2 years ago on Google
Unfortunately they were out of materials to make sandwiches so forced to order chicken nuggets. But they were delicious. Had the spicy sauce to go with them which did not disappoint. Poutine was on-point! One of the best on east coast. Looking forward to returning to try a sandwich!

  • 4/5 Alex van O. 2 years ago on Google
It was good and the food was reasonably priced for the north end. The cheese curds in the poutine did not squeak so it was not real poutine although it was still delicious.

  • 5/5 Karol J. 2 years ago on Google
The fries were so great, they don't really even need sauce! Very generous portions here. The nuggets were super juicy. Got the beer float with the pistachio. Top notch!

This picture does the food here no justice. Ordered the kimchi chicken sandwich and poutine with miso mushroom gravy and was blown away.

Beers and fries! When I get a craving for Belgium fries, I go here. Maybe their not cooked in beef tallow but they are still tasty and made to order(ask for no salt)

The food was simply amazing, and the staff super friendly. And they worked with my Celiac's needs.

Got the crispy chicken sando and it was AWESOME. Loved the simplicity, but it was excellently done. The chicken was perfectly battered and fried with thr right amount of seasoning and combined with the slaw and pickles it became a southern comfort food staple. The vibes of thr place were great, the staff was relaxed and good to interact with, and the price was good. 10/10 would recommend!
