This
place
is
awesome.
First
of
all,
it's
a
free
museum,
so
at
worst,
even
if
you
don't
like
it,
you'll
only
waste
your
time.
I
went
there
a
bit
by
chance,
thinking
that
something
free
might
be
"not
great"
(yes,
that's
a
bit
of
a
stupid
reasoning).
And
I
was
very
pleasantly
surprised.
The
collections
are
varied:
you
mainly
have
Western
paintings
but
you
will
also
find
pieces
from
other
civilizations,
some
Asian.
I
also
had
a
collection
(temporary
it
seems
to
me)
more
focused
on
archeology/Antiquities.
The
painting
level
collection
is
really
great.
You
will
find,
as
I
said,
mainly
Western
works:
Van
Gogh,
Pissaro,
Picasso,
Manet,
Monet,
Le
Douanier
Rousseau,
Georgia
O'Keeffe,
Klee,
Klimt,
Miro,
Mondrian,
Toulouse-Lautrec,
Jacques
Louis
David,
Seurat
,
Degas,
Dubuffet,
Renoir,
Cézanne,
Courbet,
Delacroix,
Géricault,
Fragonnard,
Rubens,
Poussin...
These
are
the
names
of
artists
whose
paintings
you
will
be
able
to
come
across.
So,
even
if
you're
not
a
pro
in
the
arts
(like
me),
it's
always
nice
to
see
paintings
by
these
big
names
in
painting.
Some
are
very
well-known
paintings,
others
not.
But
we
really
enjoy
walking
around.
I
add
that
among
the
lesser
known
painters
(at
least
to
me!)
we
also
find
very
beautiful
paintings.
I
happened
to
stand
and
contemplate
certain
paintings
for
a
long
time
(although
believe
me,
this
is
not
a
habit
that
I
have).
The
collection
is
really
quality!
I
add
that
the
museum
also
offers
contemporary
works
which
are
different
and
not
uninteresting.
To
conclude,
I
find
that
this
museum
is
on
a
“human
scale”.
You're
not
lost
like
in
the
Louvre
but
it's
not
particularly
small
either.
I
stayed
there
for
about
1.5
hours
but
I
would
have
stayed
a
little
longer
if
I
had
had
time.
Brief.
If
you
come
to
visit
Boston
(which
is
a
pretty
city
by
the
way),
I
advise
you
to
take
a
trip
to
Harvard
to
discover
this
great
museum
(and
take
the
opportunity
to
take
a
tour
of
the
campus
right
opposite).
