I always get off at Ruggles station (Orange Line) walk past Northeastern university over Huntington Ave and past the Museum of Fine arts and through this park (a 5 minute walk) before heading down near Fenway Park. It's a nice little park. Safe and beautiful.

Nice little park in Boston. Plenty of wildlife present. They're currently reviving the muddy River, so there's construction going on through a lot of the park, but I'm excited to see it when it's all finished up.

Lovely spot I've visited since 1982. I've seen a lot of transformation. Looking forward to the completion of the restoration work. Getting close to completion and removal of fencing.

A phenomenally-beautiful area to walk, run, bike, and stroll! It’s the perfect lunchtime spot for a healthy way to move. You’ll be greeted by geese (and at the right time of season, their babies!) so be respectful and give them space! It’s a really great, somewhat private connection between the shops and restaurants in the Fenway area and the Longwood area where important buildings and medical care can be found. There’s also a beautiful, spacious running track and field where you’ll see students studying, people enjoying lunch, and others walking and running. I can’t say enough great things about this scenic, wonderful spot!

There was a lot of poop outside the turf, but the field is very nice. Very busy.

Great view of the city skyline , the boston park department is doing a great job keeping the ground safe and clean. The muddy river project is a great addition to the city. I am glad it is done and being maintained by the boston parks and emerald necklace along with other stakeholders.

Went on a stroll around the city and got to checkout Fenway Park, and came across this beautiful garden that is basically a mix of different garden ideas made by the people who purchase their land. Truly Beautiful. It's like The Secret Garden outside if Fenway Park

A nice park to drive by or walk around! You can see wildlife here such as wild ducks (or geese? I am not very sure) during fall.

It's a funny 3-lane track in the Fens. It's not 400 meters. It's actually about 20 meters long. Parking is available but it's difficult to find a spot.

The Fens are a gem of Boston, part of the Emerald Necklace park, located along the Muddy River. Known for years for its park space and community gardens, recent environmental restoration work is also clearing up the water and making the area even more accessible to the public. Enjoy!

Would have been better if the rose garden was open. Why would it be closed on a Saturday afternoon?

Under construction. Will be a nice place for a walk along the muddy river. Next to the MFA, war memorial, rose garden, as well as Time Out and a Trillium Brew pub.

Lovely little nature spot unexpectedly right next to the Hussle bussle of Fenway.

It is a nice green space which is part of the Emerald necklace. It is a very short walk from the MFA and the Isabella Stewart garden. This park can be one of the places to relax in the evening after visiting the museums. There are playing fields. The Kelleher Rose garden is beautifully laid out, but almost all the roses were past their peak. The World War II , Korean and Vietnam war memorials are a short walk from the rose garden.

A nice park to walk in to get some sunshine in these Winter months. The water has lots of ducks and geese, and the buildings make a nice reflection on the surface. A great park to take a walk or to sit and relax by the water in the midst of the city bustle.

Nice park adjacent to backside of the musuem of fine arts and walking distance to Fenway. Has memorial, rose garden, playgrounds, fields, and wide walkways where bikes scooters have plenty of room to pass walkers. The downside is drug addicts frequent this park, in particular the marshy area behind the victory gardens.

Not a bad place to walk around or enjoy lunch. It's very close to Boylston st. and there is free parking sometimes along the Fens.

We came here on a snowy day October 30th. It was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately parts of the sidewalks were closed so it wasn’t very pedestrian friendly.

I really want to give this place a five star rating - the little community garden plots, the walks, the oval, the rose garden - the Fens packs a punch for variety. It has a downside though, with the homeless people living in the riverbank.

We lived here for 6 years and recently moved. By far, the fens are one of the things about Boston we will miss a lot. It is a treasure in the middle of an urban setting. Do not miss the Fenway Victory Gardens if you are around this area.

I'm a veteran who respects those who did not come back home. This is a great memorial. One down side is that someone decided to grafitti it and also there were used hypodermic needles laying around. I pray that both of those issues could be addressed.

A lake, some ducks... but the place isn't in a good shape. Rests of cigarettes and even some syringes on the lawn.
