Clean well appointed rooms, Victorian style, super comfortable beds, good breakfast, 24/7 tea, coffee, sweets. Very friendly knowledgeable cosierage. I would consider this more of a boutique hotel. The T is nearby as well as whole foods.

This is our favorite place to stay in Cambridge. We've stayed here on several different trips, including one for 8 nights. Since our son moved here we've tried several different hotels, and we highly recommend Harding House, in the Central Square area, but not too far from Harvard Square, either The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Keep in mind that it is a Victorian-era building. We're from the hot, humid South, so the window AC is more than adequate for a New England summer for us. We will definitely return. 2016 Update: For our most recent stay, the front desk staff were so very helpful in getting our complicated reservations arranged for us. We needed three rooms, two of them arriving a night earlier than originally planned, and they worked everything out for us cheerfully and efficiently. 2018 Update: This is still a great place to stay, even though our son moved a mile farther away than he was before. The beds are comfortable, the rooms very clean, and the breakfast features a variety that should please most anyone.

Wonderful night's sleep at this friendly establishment. We stayed on a Thursday night and the surrounding neighborhood was safe and quiet. We were able to walk to Inman Square for a family gathering the next morning and leave our car parked. Parking is limited but we were here early enough to get a spot. We would definitely return!

Good location, quaint house, and most of the staff are friendly. Unfortunately I had to give this location a 1 star because I was staying there for a few nights and each of those nights I slept horribly. Every footstep from our neighbors echoed loudly in our room. Doors regularly slammed shut and often shook our bed. It's an old wooden home, so don't expect beauty sleep. Also, the wifi did not really extend into our room.

We stayed at Harding House again this week. It is such a comfy, affordable place. The location is great and the snacks, available night and day, are plentiful, healthy and tasty. Staff is super helpful and very accommodating. My son has had surgery at a local hospital and Harding House was helpful and understanding about odd coming and going. We were on the street side and it was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. It is an older building and showing it's age but there are so many positives, they far outweigh the negatives.

Super comfortable bed, great location, clean shared bathrooms, and easy to use WiFi. I originally had booked at the Hyatt Regency downtown but am glad I switched my reservation to The Harding House. Definitely not a 'party place' but I saved about a hundred dollars and the accommodations were charming and comfortable. I mean, the Hyatt didn't even have complimentary snacks and breakfast. And the breakfast here is definitely a few notches above your standard continental breakfast. The location is also a highlight. Less than two blocks away from a Whole Foods and right off Massachusetts Ave. Five stars for Harding House! Definitely would stay again.

Small but comfortable. In the night, you should keep quiet because you may interfere others. It has been very pleasant 3 nights there because everyone sticks to the rules. Absolutely not for someone who wants to have a party. The MIT or the Harvard are about 15 minutes walk from here. It is a convenient place to visit universities.

GREAT place to stay! I will always return to Harding House on future visits. The building itself is gorgeous, all of the staff is friendly, informative, and professional. Rooms are clean, wifi is easy to access, and they use eco-friendly products! The breakfast always has a warm entree and hard boiled eggs, in addition to cereals, granola, yogurt, juices, and fresh pastries and bread. It's a quick walk to the T and Mass Ave. There are so many great little shops, bars, and cafes - everything you could possibly need!

Great B&B. Our suite is great for our family of 4, though the bathroom is a little on the small side. Certainly adequate but not luxurious. Breakfast is great, wonderful coffee, and a selection of newspapers to read.

I’ve been staying here at least once a summer for the last 6 or so years and it’s a comfortable and cozy experience every time I go. There is also a very sweet lady that always checks me in and she is a wonderful person.

Beautiful historic bed and breakfast in Campbridge in a small hotel style (continental breakfast, ten or more rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, decent housekeeping with a little rounding of the corners, etc.), but with a room that's still cute in style. rural. The price was a little expensive, but it must be said that this place is still located in a beautiful neighborhood and about ten minutes on foot from Harvard, MIT and the metro station (see photos). It's quiet, but we can hear a lot of sounds coming from outside (engine noises, students howling at the moon, etc.) Small snacks offered day and night, postcards, chocolates, water dispenser, plastic bottle, etc.
