We came for breakfast here as a treat. Food was excellent and quality was good. Service was very attentive. Portion size is good. The coffee was nice. We will happily visit again. It was clean and the decor is spot on for the place, with a nice view of the beach.

If you are a kind of person who loves pizza or not, you will love this one! The dough is super yummi and the sauce is incredible as well. The staff are so kind and the location is great!

My first visit here and I'll certainly be back. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was a bit different to my usual choices so I opted for a chicken bowl which surprised me. The flavours and ingredients were fresh and tasty.

A regular visitor to The Perch, always happy to come back! Although it was super busy on Sunday morning, the staff were superb. Attentive, friendly, nothing too much trouble. Food, as always, was delicious! Mark Leeson was one of our servers, really lovely, happy, caring member of staff.

One of the best lunches I've had out for a while. Great choice, brilliant portions and healthy veggie options too. Our waitress Dionne, deserves a raise! - really attentive service and she made for a lovely atmosphere. A visit highly recommended 👌

We visited as a group of three on a weekday evening. We found the Perch on Lancing Beach by accident, and we are very happy that we did. It is a glass fronted building located directly on the beach, there is a pay and display car park located a short walk away. We were warmly greeted by staff, and we sat at a table by the window overlooking the sea. The seats are not the most comfortable, sadly, one of the only negative points of our visit. We ordered drinks and food, as a note, the evening menu is restricted to their homemade pizzas and salads only. Service is not the quickest, but it didn't cause too much of an issue, and when our food arrived, it was well worth the wait. The pizzas are amazing, good-sized, and tasted so good. The Middle Feast salad bowl was phenomenal, such an eclectic mix of flavours, and very fresh. Only note would be suggesting the flat bread could be warmed up, then it would be perfect. We highly recommend a visit to the Perch on Lancing Beach, and will most definitely be visiting again.

Beach location with great views over the sea obviously, rock up on a windy day and watch the windsurfers excellent. The food is really good with a varied menu I defy you not to find some thing you would like here. The mussels are sooo good, highly recommend. Large car park to the rear with easy access

First visit to the Perch, down in Worthing for the weekend and spotted this place when driving past. The location is great and the view is fantastic. Service was excellent, quick to be seated and both food and drink order was taken quickly. The only negative was the wait time for the meal to arrive, hence the 4 stars. Once the food arrived is was great and can't fault it.

I had the beach burger. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The desserts are a good size to share and enjoy with others. Nice beach. Waitresses and waiters are very welcoming and interactive. Will recommend to others.

My friends and I stopped by at the Perch on a long beach walk from Worthing to Shoreham-By-Sea. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and despite the place being busy and not having a reservation, the staff did their best to get a table for us (there were 11 of us in total). All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was ace. I had the fish and chips which were so crispy and delicious.

Good food and friendly staff But I couldn’t figure out for the life of me the taps in the toilets running only hot water?? Guessing in winter this place is probably closed but Hot July you want to wash your hands and face and this place only had hot water running in their taps! Better than the shambles Brighton town however.

So happy we found this place - drawn to it for the view, but have come back a few times for the service and easy food. So far we have tried the lunch menu, breakfast and afternoon cocktails - can recommend them all. And the experience is made all the better by the lovely staff - big shout out to Tia, Bryoni, and Mark!! 🤩

Went for breakfast. Lovely breakfast. Good coffee. Friendly staff. And gorgeous views if you can get a window seat. Does get hot by the window though so wear a t shirt 😂

We had lunch at The Perch yesterday. Wonderful meal of Bang Bang Chicken followed by the Ultimate Chocolate Brownie. Haven't got a photo of the chocolate brownie as was so gorgeous we'd finished it before remembering to take photo. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere with a view of Lancing Beach. This is one of our favourite places to eat.

Came here with the family for a breakfast and the food was great. We didn't see an option for kids breakfast but just ordered 1 portion of the waffles and they shared. My wife and I both had the plant plate and really enjoyed it. It felt a little steep in price at £11.50 for what was essentially avo on toast with embellishments. Tasty all the same though. Service was brilliant for the most part, let down by the waitress that cleared our table telling me to wave down another server for my bill. It felt very odd especially as she seemed to take payments from other tables?! I would've expected the waitress that came to clear our table to be able to pass on the message that we'd like to pay without being told flippantly to "wave down the blonde lady over there". It was a busy good Friday so I can only assume this was the reason for this.

Came for a mid-week dinner and the pizza and puddings were great! Neve was really helpful by letting us know there was a bit of a wait which we were prepared for, and the food was actually served before we thought it would! Definitely one of our regular spots for a reason.

A fantastic lunch of a huge bowl of delicious mussels in a superb sauce. Fresh crusty bread and perfectly cooked fries served with speed and a smile by Dionne all added to the wonderful experience. Highly recommended

Fantastic food and views. Dog friendly. Huge fish and chips, perfectly cooked steak and eggs. Skin on fries were delicious. Definitely returning on a dog walk. Only downside is it can get busy so worth booking ahead.

Loved the vibe of this bistro/cafe right on the beach. Very dog friendly which is a plus. Service was superb. The menu was limited but portions very generous. We had the kilo if mussels which were delicious and came with both chips and bread which you need to mop up the pint of broth! Slightly off five stars only because the mussels were over cooked and too many broken shell fragments in it. However, they made up for it with the fresh cooked churros and ice cream. Cakes looked amazing and plenty of vegan options if needed.

This place gets busy at meal times, being the only restaurant on the beach. The service was standard, however the food was good. Only thing is they said they serve pizza (they do a traditional stone baked pizza) from noon, however when we tried to order one at 12.30, we were told the oven wasn't ready yet. The chips were really nice!

We booked a table for our son's second birthday and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We brought a cake for him and others to have as a dessert which was no trouble and was brought out when we asked for it with added candles! The food was just excellent as usual. Most of our party hadn't been before and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. Our server Dionne was just brilliant.
