    Dirty gym management really is Angry and probably need to go into another business. Management really not people people unfortunately. Today the 28th horrible horrible an getting worse with no paper towels, running out of wipe. But today only 1 dispenser has in whole gym trash cans full becoming the norm!! Here's a few pics again

    I have been a member at Crunch since April,2022. The environment of the gym is fun and support your motivation. My issue with this gym is how things are handled when it comes to cancelling memberships. Perimeter failed to process my cancelation request and charging me additional fees on top. Finally, I have driven 45 minutes in person after 12 hour work all exhausted, to talk to them and explained the reason why I want to cancel due to long commute and confirmed the cancellation. They offer to freeze my account, I declined the offer and he told me he can not cancel my membership. This is predatory behavior of your franchise. I have not use your service over 9 months. And still, to this day I keep charging me for Personal Training and membership at Crunch that I can't even use. I want my account terminated IMMEDIATELY, all fees retracted upon the receipt of this complaint.

    This is Gym is closed for More than a month and nobody say nothing. No emails or call to their clientele. Why is that? What is happened? Is this GYM broke? I've tried to contact you in person, via your local phone number or the corporate phone number listed online but Those numbers are not accepting more messages. Nobody answer and It is the same Online. I choose this place because it was close to my home but you do not fixed the broken machines, or clean as should be this place. It's over crowed and worse you do not care. I WANT TO CANCEL. DO NOT CHARGE ANY RENEWAL AND REIMBURSE ALL THE MONEY YOU TOOK BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS CLOSED

    The worst gym ever for customer service. They are here just for your money. They forced me to take the trial with the highest plan, I did not agree, the manager told me I will not be charged until I choose another plan after the trial. After two days, I contacted them to end my membership, they have never responded to my call. I wrote them, no response at all. I only go to the gym two days and did not like their management. Once you enroll, you get in a trap!!! Everyone should avoid this gym!!!!!!!!!!

    This place is disgusting, no janitors to clean the bathrooms, common areas, trash everywhere, toilets constantly clogged. The only good thing about this place is the rennovations and classes. But wait theres no Air Conditioning in the the rooms so it gets super hot so beware….they dont even play music anymore in the common area too. If I didnt get a year membership i would have quit and went to planet fitness because they are constantly cleaning and putting weights back in their place. The workers and management is lazy and no one cares about the sanitary conditions. Do not come here its not worth it!

    Update July 19th: The water fountain still has not been addressed. So the only way to get water is through the hand washing sinks in the bathrooms or they charge you for water. Also, they are now putting out toilet paper instead of paper towels for cleaning. Which are not effective because toilet paper shreds. The people at the front do not clean the place nor walk around putting away equipment like the other Crunch gyms do. I've been to the one in Braintree, NY, and FL and all have staff that walks around and show they care about the place. Finally, I did email management a few weeks ago with no response as of yet as to how they will address the issues. Previous Post:The place has excellent equipment and the renovations make it look good. However, the place is constant messy. People never put weights away, leave paper towels all over the place, cardio machines haven’t been cleaned in weeks- still sweat stains all over them from months ago, paper towel machines are not always filled, and one water fountain does not work while the other barely dribbles. I love crunch and this is the closest one but the cleanliness is a HUGE problem.

    I would give this gym 0 stars if possible! I had a very uncomfortable experience at this gym because one of the staff members. If you want unsolicited advice and crude comments about your body in the middle of your workout by the supervisor Lydell then go here .. just know that if he does make you uncomfortable that Antonio and Nick the managers will do absolutely nothing about it.

    I have been a member of this gym for the last 3 months... There are machines still broken since the first day I started (so 3 months are not enough for them to get them fixed). I am talking about several machines. Today is the second day that the gym is closed in the morning in less than 2 weeks. It seems the staff didn't want to come to work this morning either and you don't get any email notification for avoiding coming here... These people don't take customers seriously what a shame... There is a small Planet fitness around 10 min away, but at least everything works and it is open for sure.

    I’m sorry but this is the worst crunch location I ever been to. My home gym is Brockton which I get it, it’s newer but there’s no excuse for a gym like this in Roslindale to be this poorly maintained. I have been to 6 locations and Roslindale location is by far the worst one. I Will never come back I rather just go harder the next day if I can’t make it.

    The gym itself is fine. I was in the area for a summer, and attempted to cancel my membership when I left. To cancel a membership they make you fill out a google form, and have a manager call you to finally cancel your membership. I filled out the form twice in two separate months, called the gym multiple times, and emailed the gym. They still have not cancelled my membership (currently 63 days after I first submitted the from) and still bill me. Would not recommend getting any kind of recurring membership here

    They have some very unprofessional trainers there. I recently signed up at this location in the beginning of January and met with the trainer Arthur Lyon. After our session I signed up for 4 sessions each month with him and this location and he has cancelled/ rescheduled every session after that. The first paid session was January 14th and i haven't had one after that. He waits until the last second to cancel. One day he had me come to the Gym at 6 in the morning and wasn't there when I showed up. I texted him to see where he was but he never showed and didn't reply until 7:40 PM. With it now being February and me having only met with Arthur Lyon once I tried to cancel my remaining sessions and payments and was told I cant do that and I would be charged the two additional months regardless. SO I am being told I have to pay for services I never received. I guess l need to file with the Better Business Bureau

    I have been a member of this gym since it opened in 2015. I have never complained or written a review, but enough is enough. I use this gym out of convenience, I get there at 5AM so I am able to be at work on time. Going to this gym is night is not an option, it is a circus and over crowded. Your members have dealt with the numerous pieces of broken equipment, incredibly dirty and unsanitary restroom conditions, which would be enough for most to go to another gym. BUT YOU CAN'T OPEN ON TIME?? HOW IS THIS AN ISSUE?? IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS WITH LISTED HOURS, OPEN ON TIME. IF YOU LIST THAT YOU OPEN AT 5AM, THIS DOES NOT MEAN OPEN AT 5:30 AM OR LATER. THESE ARE THE BASICS. YOU ARE NOT STICKING TO YOUR END OF THE AGREEMENT. THIS IS NOW A WEEKLY ISSUE WHERE THE GYM DOES NOT OPEN ON TIME- ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. ITS A SHAME, THAT CRUNCH CONTINUES TO TAKE OUR MONEY AND NOT HOLD UP TO THEIR END OF THE AGREEMENT.

    Recently remodeled, I've been going here for 6 years now and I have to say two things, IF YOU ARE LOCAL it's a GREAT VALUE! Stop N' Shop, Walgreen and DISCOUNT LIQUORS right next to it. Gym has a local crowd and for the most part is pretty clean. Secondly, I always recommend 12 to 2 p.m. (people are at work) & the last hour (10 to 11 p.m. Mon-Thursday or 8 to 9 p.m. on Fridays & 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays) to go since the gym is less empty and it's easier to use whatever machines you want. Staff is pretty chill. Showers I used to use until Covid happen now I just use for lockers & toilets which are decent. Overall, I'm happy this gym opened.

    Please save yourself the trouble of getting involved with this gym. Once a member, they’ll put you through the ringer if you try to cancel your membership. Even if you manage to cancel, they’ll continue calling and emailing you forever, regardless of how many times you request they stop.

Also do not do a trainer there, first they didn't explain everything right they just want your money, for 4 months and when u cancel it they keep charging for no reason and when u call them to ask why is that happening they never know why or start lying about that a payment didn't go through just lies so they can take your money.

    Cancelled my membership after a little over 2 years. The staff they had in 2021ish is vastly different than now. The equipment is often broken, staff used to be progressive in getting people to follow gym etiquette. Having people share machines and weights in between reps. You can’t even work out in a reasonable time with people doing 10 sets and not wanting to let people use weights when they’re resting. Staff used to make sure the place was constantly cleaned, they just be in the front playing on their phones flirting with people

    This place gets 2 stars for effort. They had so many broken equipment. I felt like I was in a college gym room. Nobody wipes down machines, and they barely have wipes to wipe it down. The AC only works in the bathrooms, which are dirty. I didn't see any staff cleaning machines just socializing most of the time. It's alot of young adults and college kids that go there. . The things that I did like was they offered classes and they have two separate rooms for classes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The music was good. . If you like a college type of gym setting, then this is the place for you.

    I was a member for 8 years and the new manager and staff are why I cancelled my membership. They are unbelievably rude and I can’t believe the way they talked to and treated a long-term paying member. As a warning, and example, of their questionable business practices, they closed the gym for many weeks by leaving a note on the door and gave no notice and no timeframe. And, they charged the membership fee while they were closed and said it was because we had access to the Braintree branch (though that information wasn’t posted anywhere). There are so many reasons to NOT join this gym and I would recommend finding a nearby pf instead.

    Antonio is an awesome mgr. he get the job done when it comes to fixing broken machines and making sure the gym is clean. Lydell is the best supervisor. Always treats the member with respect. The trainers Cameron TJ and Sean are great and very knowledge on achieving fitness goals.

    Miss coming to this gym. Moved away, and had some issues with customer service to cancel my membership. Called Roslindale Crunch and Gene was super friendly and helpful. He assisted in cancelling my membership, corporate couldn't assist. Thanks Gene!!

    better than planet fitness because they have real squat racks and bench racks. very clean and well organized space for weights and machines, big studio class area to go and workout in when there are no classes

    Honestly the worst gym I’ve been. The front desk girl was nice but I was never told about entering a contract and that I’ll be charged a 59 yearly fee. Now I want to cancel and I’m not sure if I can get out of this stupid gym. PLEASE BE AWARE. The staff withholds info as a way of getting you trapped.

    What a great gym! The staff is so friendly and helpful and I took one of the best Zumba classes I have ever been to there..The instructor was amazing and the energy was also amazing! and when i went outside after class there was a huge rainbow over the entire gym! and a gorgeous sunset! I will definitely find a way to stop there again for a workout in my travels....Ama is the instructors name...go try her great class!!

    A complete a total scam of a business. My husband signed up here not even THREE DAYS ago, NEVER used the facilities, only to learn that he can't commit to a gym membership due to other circumstances right now. He went to cancel the membership and they told him he would have to pay some ridiculous processing or cancellation fee (??) for 12 months, totaling over $300 !! How on EARTH are we supposed to get out of this membership?? Do NOT sign up here!

    The gym itself is fine. The bathrooms are always clean. The equipment is quite outdated and some are unusable at times. It often takes quite some time to fix equipment. ALL STAFF MEMBERS are ALWAYS friendly and helpful! I notice Jeremi makes his rounds, talks and helps everyone!!

    I really love the space and environment. Friendly staff, clean establishment, lots of machines, lots of free weights. There are loads of classes and they let you do a 7 day free trial before committing to signing up. So far I am very much enjoying the 2 days I've been there.

    I've been a member of this gym since it opened a few years back and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have been real good about keeping up with Covid-19 protocols. I don't feel judged at this gym but very invited to do my own workouts or just hire a trainer. Very clean and the gym members and staff are very friendly.

    Thomas is one of the best instructors out there. Personable, welcoming, will work you, plays good music, energetic! Parking lot is good size, will never have trouble finding a spot.
