Decent gym if come when it’s dead. Busy in the evening and hard to workout. Staff is friendly. Main issues are: (1) selfish people using the only cable system they have for their entire workout. (2) limited and small free weight area. If they ditch that kettle bell area and add more cables, it wound be a huge help. Otherwise, it will just remain my “back up”gym. FYI- the free weight area flooring is splitting/coming apart.

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. Weights and machines is in good condition. They have turf, a sled, and kettlebells. Decent price. Cons: 7 ellipticals and 7 treadmills, but only 1 stairclimber (stairclimber is always occupied, but there only ever seems to be a max of 3 ellipticals or treadmills ever being used at any given time). Very slow at replacing equipment such as resistance bands. There are 24 lockers in the men’s locker room, but only 12 keys available. Urinal is always out of order. Water filter machine is extremely slow at filling water bottles. Weight area floor mats never stay in position. Ergs don’t have batteries, so tracking your rowing metrics is a very inconvenient process should you take a break for even 5 seconds.

This is a straightforward, easy gym. Joined when I moved to the neighborhood, and it was a really quick sign up process. I would suggest askinig about disicounts for where you work or for longer-term commitments. A lot of reviews remark that it is small, which is completely true - this gym is basically a single large room (except for an extra spin room on the side), it's never crowded or too busy to matter. All in all, a simple, affordable gym that has exactly what you need!

I am so lucky to have found this place on my walk home! I saw the sign out front “gym now open” and decided to pop in. The front desk, Sam, gave us a tour and was very helpful in answering any questions we had. I go to the location on meridian. It has a great set of machines, squat racks, free weights, lockers to conveniently store my book bag on the way home and best of all it’s super clean! Good price per month and staff are friendly.

Beacon Hill is a great local gym. It's very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is friendly as well. The classes taught by the instructor Charlene are the very best. She varies the classes a lot and helps all clients meet their fitness goals.

Beacon Hill is a great local gym! Friendly staff, clean facility, and towel service. Charlene is the best- she continues to challenge and motivate you with every class. You will always hear people thanking her on the way out.

Gio and Luke are genuinely the best! They are why I’m leaving 5 stars. I recommend training here if you live in Eastie but please don’t go when I do because I prefer an empty gym 🙂

It's the only gym in East Boston so there's no other options. Multiples times I have wait outside because the gym doesn't open on time. Inside the gym is fine, it meets the standard for what a gym needs. But I have had to give up work outs because they open late.

Honestly, I was taken aback by the price at first but 1, it's actually low compared to other gyms in the area and 2, it's more than worth it. Brand new facility, all of the machines are in immaculate condition and are clean, which is important to/for me. Outside of the wide array of machines the gym offers, they recently added a ton of new fun, yet challenging classes. There are a few trainers at the gym but two of my favs are Charlene and Caro. Caro offers a bootcamp class! Charlene offers a kettle class, cycling, barre and much more! I was at a plateau in my weight loss journey and a month with Charlene I was able to lose 6lbs and can see a ton of muscle forming!

Standard inner-city Boston gym, meaning spacing is small and busy. Normally I wouldn't care, but charging ~$67 a month for membership to a gym with ony 4 free wight benches and 0 fixed bench press areas is kinda messed up. What are you using my money for?

This is the most festive location of them all. Every holiday and season celebrated. I am disappointed I was not hired as a group fitness instructor, but it was a good motivational push to get my Zumba certification. This location has the best Latino and house music playlist, just like the dancing nightclubs.

Joined this gym about a month ago after moving to the area. Great gym that has everything you need to have a productive workout. Never gets too crowded and all of the staff here are very friendly.

Great environment to workout in. Friendly staff and very clean equipment. Anything you need they have there. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Gio working at the front desk has been nothing but accommodating with anything needed!

I would write an amazing review but I’m selfish, I’d like to keep this place to myself and not share to avoid overcrowding like every other gym in Boston has.

I love this gym. The environment and the people are chill, I feel very comfortable working out here. The equipment is good and there’s always a space open, I haven’t had to wait to use anything (barely!).

Excellent gym. Friendly staff, never crowded and it is very clean. Limited selection on things, however, if you’re an experienced gym goer, you will find alternatives without a problem.

As a new member of this gym I could not be happier with how friendly the staff is and how clean/new all the equipment are. There is a lot of space around (never overcrowded) which many other gyms lack, a wide variety of equipment and they provide clean towels for those who always forget their own like me. The best part of this gym and the reason why I first decided to join is Charlene Peters – one of the best fitness trainers I have ever met. She truly challenges and motivates her clients and helps them achieve the results they hope for (I have experienced it first hand). She teaches various classes such as spin, kettle bell, barre or a combination which makes your workout not only challenging but also fun. Her clients’ loyalty to her says a lot about how wonderful Charlene is, not only as a trainer but also as a person!

Overall great gym but too loud music. Difficult to hear through my headphones in middle of loud spanish music. Would appreciate if they lower the volume and keep it decent rather than sounding like a pub

BEWARE- THIS GYM DOES NOT ENFORCE MASKS I’ve noticed time and time again, people are working out without masks despite Mayor Janeys mask mandate. Management clearly does not care if ppl get sick. Would much rather find a gym that cares about the healthy and safety of members.

😐 A pretty decent gym. It won't blow you away but its one of the better ones in Boston. However, despite them following the rules and implementing numerous protocols to keep the gym clean and safe, they are being shut down by the Mayor again. Unfortunately, it appears the owners, like many of the me...
