TL:DR
-
Top
notch
BJJ
instruction
-
Welcoming
environment
-
Good
mix
in
skill
level
and
genders
-
Highly
recommend
for
local
Bostonians
and
visitors
Review:
-
Broadway
BJJ
is
a
great
gym
for
both
competitors,
hobbyists,
folks
interested
in
learning
self
defense,
and
folks
interested
in
getting
fit.
Highly
recommend
this
place
for
locals
and
visitors.
-
I’m
a
BJJ
purple
belt
at
Daniel
Gracie
BJJ
in
Philadelphia.
Previously
trained
at
Renzo
Gracie
Academy
in
NYC
and
Brooklyn.
-
Spent
3
days
training
gi
and
nogi
at
Broadway
BJJ.
-
Welcoming
environment.
On
my
first
day,
one
of
the
black
belt
instructors
gave
me
a
quick
tour
of
the
gym
and
introduced
me
to
other
students.
Cool
vibe
from
day
one.
-
Great
mix
of
skill
level
from
white
to
black
belts.
The
6pm
class
is
huge
-
lots
of
students
and
partners
to
train
with.
The
noon
class
had
between
5-10
ppl
when
I
trained.
-
High
quality
instruction
-
coaches
teach
details.
I
really
liked
the
emphasis
on
positional
training
-
I’ve
always
held
the
opinion
that
this
is
the
best
way
to
progress
so
their
teaching
method
resonated
with
me.
-
Good
mix
of
live
rolls
-
some
start
from
specific
position.
Some
from
feet
-
competition
style.
Some
are
situation
specific
-
start
with
negative
points
and
have
limited
time
to
score
and
win.
-
Coach
guides
their
students
but
allows
their
advanced
students
to
direct
their
own
learning.
In
the
advanced
class,
the
head
coach
had
everyone
drill
one
technique
from
north
south
-
you
can
choose
the
technique
that
works
best
for
you.
-
The
coaches
care
about
their
students
-
the
coaches
walked
around
correcting
students
and
stuck
around
after
class
to
answer
questions.
I
was
a
visiting
student
and
received
feedback
from
the
head
coach!
-
This
gym
has
the
look
of
an
old
school
boxing
gym.
I
personally
like
it
…
if
you’re
looking
for
an
Equinox
experience
(e.g.
AOJ,
Meraki),
this
probably
isn’t
for
you.
-
Only
negative
is
that
there
is
only
one
shower
and
it
doesn’t
drain
properly.
Wasn’t
that
big
of
an
issue
for
me
though.
