We stumbled upon this cafe while staying in the Financial District. We came for breakfast and it was so good, we will be returning for lunch another day. Lots of options and great service!

This place won’t let you down for breakfast. Had an incredible build your own burrito. The ingredients were fresh and the tortilla seemed homemade or at least way above your average store bought. We didn’t get any, but they have muffins and pastries baked daily. Coffee was good but you have to add your own sweeteners at the coffee bar. Would definitely come back for breakfast. Just wish they were open Saturdays and Sundays!

Such a cute stop for an affordable, healthy, and quick breakfast. They have an array of lunch options as well, we just happen to come for breakfast. I had a latte with skim milk and they accidentally used whole milk (which is okay). My breakfast~Egg, Bacon, Avocado, and Cheese on Whole Wheat Sour Dough~ (see pic) was delicious. It was a perfectly crisp sandwhich that didn’t fall a part when I ate it . One thing I found weird was that there are seating tables right next to the open salad bar (see pic). I am not a fan of someone eating/socializing, right on top of the food. Overall, I would highly recommend and would visit again!

This is a small but quaint and cozy place. The food was very good and has the home cooked profile. The staff was nice and it did not take very long to get my order. Granted I was the only one there. The coffee was okay, but could have been a little better. Overall, I would go back for a good hearty breakfast.

Went with my wife for breakfast. I had a western omelet, and my wife had corned beef hash. The omelet was served in a generous portion and was very tasty and well condimented. My wife said that her plate was fresh and delicious. The restaurant personnel was very curteous and helpful. Prices were average for the Boston area where the restaurant is located

It was a fluke we dropped in here one morning. We both ate egg & bacon on English muffins and split a REMARKABLE & giant season appropriate pumpkin muffin!! Tiny little shop inside, but a worthy stop for freshly made, cooked to order breakfast!!! Can imagine the afternoon menu is equally as awesome!!

Food/Travel Influencer: @michaela_romanosmith Went for breakfast and lunch and had a really great experience. Great menu options: the gourmet coffee was really good (personally loved the seasonal fall latte), great pastries, yummy soup and sandwiches. Everything tasted really good and fresh. LOVED that the cafe is right on the water - nothing better than good food with a view. The staff was very friendly and quick. Cafe was clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!!

Ordered just a Latte. It was terrible and they couldn't even get my order correct. If you love coffee, this place is not for you.

Head here first - early morning right off the ferry. Quaint and quite outdoor dining. Generous portions bacon and eggs cooked to order. What a lucky surprise, this find!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet! It’s right across the street from my place in Boston and I eat there all the time. Breakfast, lunch, mid-day snack: it’s all great. Their food is fresh, fast, and super tasty. Best for takeout, they DO have a few tables where you can eat in. Today for lunch I had the most awesome chicken club with a nice piece of grilled chicken, the usual lettuce, tomato, and bacon… plus avocado and a spicy garlic mayo on crusty bread. Oh, and a cup of chicken noodle soup, too. Awesome! Tomorrow morning it’ll be bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Highly recommended.

Bean Leaf was just a block over from our hotel on our recent trip to Boston. So, we stopped by on our first morning before setting out to explore the city, and it was a great way to start the morning. I had a macchiato, my husband had the Americano, and we each had a parfait. The parfaits were very good with fresh fruit and granola. The coffees were both very good as well. They weren't anything to rave about but for the price, we have no complaints. Very well priced for what it is. It's a no frills cafe that is clean with decent food/drinks, friendly service, and low prices. If you're looking for a quick breakfast and coffee in the financial district, this place is worth a try.

I went to this place to get my breakfast with more reasonable price than my hotel offered. It’s still cheaper but it looks like price was increased a lot (almost doubled) from what I saw in the other review about this place. It’s a nice cafe provides good quality of food and coffee.

Decided to come here for breakfast. I ordered via Ritual. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and given my food right away. Everything looked amazing with fresh bakery items as well as fresh juice and fruit. My omelette with home fries, bacon and toast was very tasty and totally worth the $12. I will definitely come back again.

I came back again because the first time it was really good. This time I ordered a bacon egg cheese and it was extremely messy. They didn't even cut the top part of the croissant all the way, they just shoved the eggs and bacon inside. When I took it out of the bag it was literally rolled up as if I ordered a burrito.... I have to hold everything in place just to eat it as a regular sandwich.

We are from Miami and we’re amazed for the quality and price of breakfast. I ordered a veggie omelette with 9 grain toast. I came with 2 toasts, 2 big round sausages sliced, potatoes and the veggies were 3-4,. We could have split the breakfast! Lattes were perfectly done!

I would be here daily for breakfast and/or lunch if I lived nearby! Very friendly staff, delicious food at a fair price, and quickly made. Nice to see these places still exist.

My boyfriend and I visited this little café after finishing up at the New England Aquarium. We were googling places within walking distance that wouldn't require a long sit down meal, and this place fit the bill. The kindest employees greeted us and the gentleman who took your order/made the food was eager to offer up great suggestions and was SO patient while we made up our minds. We kept it simple with sandwiches, which were absolutely delicious, but the menu was huge!! (the super fresh fruit cup deserves its own shoutout) There is definitely something here for everyone. They even had hot food options for the day - all of which looked sooooo good. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere had my boyfriend and I talking about this place all weekend. I don't think we'll ever visit Boston without stopping in at our new favorite café!!
