It might sound like a joke, but this place charges $5 EACH TIME you ask for a charcoal replacement. I have never heard a place that charges extra money for charcoal in my entire life. When we asked about this to the waitress working there, she told us that the owner decreased the hookah price to $45 from $50 and started charging extra money for charcoal lmao. First of all, this is a freaking hookah man! Why would you charge $45 in the first place?! I am not sure when I will visit Boston again, but I will for sure not go near by this place.

Saw the reviews and went inside, the Ambience is good and waitress was really attentive but the food and hookah were less then mediocre or worst hookah in my life, as I write this from inside the place, as I pay, felt like I'm paying a fine for going here, not gonna visit again I feel the urge to write multiple reviews on how 18% gratuity was charged on a really bad and most expensive hookah but Google wouldn't allow it. The waitress probably is new and tried to help us but the guy who made the hookah has no idea what he was doing, really sad to lose 3 hours of my time and $280 at the bar and table together for 2 hookahs, a pizza and a burger. Nobody came to help with the hookah, needless to say at this point. Please don't read other good reviews, doesn't make sense to me as I spent more time repairing my hookah than writing this essay of a review

There's no ventilation, hookahs are $65, $10 for extra charcoal, and they charge 20% gratuity, avoid at all costs.

A place with a nice ambiance and lots of potential, that sums about all of it. I have been visiting this place for a long time and it is sad to see that the service and quality have been going down in recent years. Now the newest most ridiculous thing is that the owner has decided to stop serving tea???!!! Yes, you read that right. A middle eastern hookah place that doesn’t sell tea. I still can’t wrap my brain around that one. And the reason is that they have “upgraded to a new more fancy coffee machine” … hm, yea that still doesn’t explain to me what happened to the tea. Please please bring the tea back. You had the most amazing Moroccan Mint tea in town. But if not that, then serve at least hot water and packaged tea, it’s not that hard… after all the waitress was nice! P.S. the fancy machine that displaced the tea couldn’t make a cappuccino … thanks god for the waitress who still managed to pull it off!

The owner Samad Naamad is an embarrassment to the restaurant, hospitality, and business community of Boston. He puts profits over the health of his workers, his neighbors, and his customers. He has been staining the floors of his restaurants and apartment units in Charlestown with zero ventilation and forcing illness onto his workers and all people living at 83 Main Street including: pregnant women Children His own staff People working from home If you support Samad or his businesses (tangierino, Boston cigar club) you’re not just in for a terrible dining experience, you’re directly propping up a failing and morally bankrupt “business person”, “chef”, and crook. In the immediate area there are way better options in: Warren Tavern, Monument, Brewer’s Fork, Mister Qs, even 7/11 is a better choice.

Hookah is overpriced and they charge for extra charcoal. I never ever seen any hookah bar charge for charcoal. Not recommended

Was having a great time until these money hungry crooks tried to pull a fast one on me. I specifically told the airhead waitress that I didn’t want a “premium” hookah and that normal was fine. She says okay then I ordered drinks for me and my date … all is good. When it comes time to close out the check, I see that the premium hookah was on there. Wouldn’t have thought twice about it but I literally told the waitress that’s not what I wanted in the beginning. So I point it out and she takes the check back. Mistake I did was give her my card thinking she was gonna fix it and then run the card. A few minutes after comes this punk kid who claimed that I had been there 3 times before and did the same thing. I’m from Florida and this was my second time in Boston. I tried telling him he got me mixed up with somebody else but he kept arguing and said that they took it off this time but then added a 20% gratuity without my permission and had already run the card. Sad that there are businesses that would pull something like this just for money and ruin the customers experience. I was genuinely having a great time there but wlad l9hab will always be wlad 9hab

The hookah was a disaster.. no flavour at all!!! It was hot AF no AC. And the manager was extremely rude and very disrespectful. She asked us to switch seats and nobody replaced us on those seats. And then she was like you can leave if you like we’re busy. The kebobs serving size was like a kids serving. The only good thing was there fries that’s it!!! Very disappointed !!!

The server with dark long hair, glasses, and heavier complexion is extremely unprofessional and rude. I know a lot about operational management, and never seen a service more poor than i received there. The server said they do not serve tap water and keep pushing the menu on my friend and I. We dined in a restaurant in Boston, and stopped by to have the best available hookah option. The server keep pushing to order something to the point when it became ridiculous. Owners/managers , I am writing this review mostly to alert you, especially in this time of extreme competition. Pick your staff more carefully. Terrible experience. Gave 2 stars and not 1 because hookah wasn’t too bad.

We had a bad encounter a few days ago. A waitresses called Victoria overcharged us thinking we won’t pay attention as we were a big group. We checked the bill and they admit there was a mistake. A similar encounter happened to my friend with the same girl. BE CAREFUL

I wish it was possible to leave no stars. This is the first place to charge us $8 for a small water when the waitress asked me if I wanted any water. Also to charge $5 for coal replacement for hookah. We spent over $200 for our party of 2 to get two drinks each (drinks were overfilled with ice), premium hookah (unknown $20 upcharge), and the bottle of $8 stillwater. This place is a complete rip off.

This place is quite nice, very crowded. Went here Saturday night and watched a patriots game. Very nice ambiance, fairly priced. 30$ for a shisha. The guys at the front door were very friendly and nice. They have belly dancer that goes on the tables. No bathrooms were not working when we were there so we had to use the restaurants bathroom upstairs, the restaurant was very cozy Mediterranean feel. The speaker on where we are was not working well that could be annoying coz the music comes and goes. Otherwise its a cool place to hang out with friends.

Hidden gem in the beautiful neighbourhood of historical Charlestown! Great service, amazing hookah (we love the hookah guy!!), tasty food and cocktails. It’s a bit pricey, but it worths it

There is no option for 4.5 as I'd preferrably give that as felt things were a bit more priced than normal but again that doesnt mean all other experiences were anything less than 5 star. Food was fantastic, hookah was amazing and the serving staff was very friendly.

Very nice cigar lounge. Nicest one in Boston, as far as I know.

First time in Boston and I stopped here for a drink, food, and hookah. The customer service was spectacular my sever was Ella, and the guy that made my hookah was Leo. He helped me with my luggage as I just came from the airport. This place is amazing and is highly recommend. Everything was joy-able and I will be back when I stop back in town. Thanks for showing me a great time for my first time here/in Boston. (Vegetarian Friendly)

Belly dancer is the best part. Hookah pots are not up to the mark. Hookah pipes are the weakest I have ever seen in my life.
