It's great to get some essentials and more. Very well stocked and fast lines, plus autoservice to pay. Also, pharmacy employees are very nice, and they provide you service with almost a smile on their face🥰

Excellent place to shop. Lots of variety and the customer service people are always friendly, courteous and helpful.

I like wildlife including small rodents, but just not in my local grocery store. Seen this afternoon near the fish counter was a small brown mouse running from under a stand toward the back of the store. I mentioned this to the attendant behind the fish counter who also seeing the little mouse did not seem surprised but did politely apologize. At the check out counter, I asked if I could speak to the manager (he really should know he has furry critters in his store) but was told Barry was not available. Oh well...I tried, I hope he gets the message.

Cheap food. Clean aisles. Each aisle is named after a street. Quick in and out.

I'd really like to give a higher rating but they consistently aren't good. Long lines, bad produce, and filthy bathrooms. The only shining light is Michael in the deli. He's great!

Its a good spot for grocery items such as dry foods etc. The meat and produce sections are underwhelming. The meat section especially has poor quality. Have had numerous bad experiences and has got to the point where I will not buy any sort of meat or produce.

Love going to Star in WR. Very friendly staff and I love getting the fruit from them especially the fresh cut fruit.

Their prices r too high . there's only 1 or 2 cashier's and I hate self service so if the lines r backed up I ll leave my stuff on the floor and walk out. I ll go to price Rite in Roslindale where the prices are real low on most of the items and plenty of cashiers to speed u out quick.

My husband went into Star's to get us coffee and a snack from Star Bucks. I have been in this store in the past. It is well stocked and very clean. The help are friendly and professional.

Been coming here for so many years since I moved to West Roxbury. Great place for everyday needs. Does offer a bathroom near the meat aisle. Always clean inside. It also has a Starbucks inside.

This place is nice and clean as any other star market, you got a Starbucks in here as well and you got many fresh foods to choose from.

If you're delivering here spect to wait at least 45 min for the keys and go through the front door they never open the back

I just moved to West Roxbury and was trying out this Star Market for the first time. I was very pleased!! I will now be coming back as a repeat customer! I bought over $400 worth of groceries today bc I had to stock my fridge in my new home, as well as buy new cleaning products etc I had a ton of stuff on the belt as I checked out and I was so pleasantly surprised when I got home to find out that the woman bagging my groceries had organized my groceries into different bags by cleaning products, frozen foods, breakables like eggs, dairy, produce, cans and jars, etc. This is amazing! Made putting my groceries away so so much easier and I was under a time crunch bc I had to get to work so I really appreciate the woman’s attention to bagging my groceries. I wish I had her name!
