Spent a week in vacation last fall in a great little Air B&B on Joy St. in our last night of pigging out on Asian cuisine, wandering through the city, and a little culture at the MFA, we had a night that in and wandered around the corner to All Star Pizza and some local brew from the Whole Foods Across the street. An unexpected pleasure. Nice crispy chewy crust and high quality toppings. If I recall correctly it was El Jefe in one half and Earth Sprout on the other. Well designed combos that gave some spice, creaminess, meatiness, and a heavy helping of veggies. Leftovers for breakfast the next day we’re a perfect send off before Uber to Logan.

From meat eaters to vegans, this place caters to everyone. I had the veggie slice with butternut squash, jalapeño, spinach, goat cheese, and curry cream. Flavors worked together really well.

My wife and I arrived 20-30 minutes before the rest of out group (thanks T construction), so we had ample time to discuss options, preferences, and hatreds of all things pizza with the staff. Each employee was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful with their suggestions. Overall, I think most things in Boston are over priced. However, if you're going to pay for pizza, this is the place to do it. Pro tip: they have very unique styles of pizzas. Do not hesitate to ask for their help in making your decisions to build your own. You won't regret it.

Such a great find!! It was exactly what we were looking for. First- they have gluten free crusts and vegan cheese. Second - a super wide range of choices and toppings to choose from. A pie can be expensive ($31 for gluten free and vegan cheese) but it seems on par for Boston pricing. Super quick service and the AC is on full blast.

Great pizza place for vegetarian and vegan pizza! They offer slices and pies. Strongly recommend stopping by if you're in the Beacon Hill area.

I walked by and pizza looked good and got a slice of pepperoni. The crust of a pizza is the "make or break" and this one was awesome! So light and not heavy and had the right crunch. The cheese was very fresh and so was the pepperoni. Staff was awesomely nice and sparked up a conversation. Definitely going back!

Great local spot! They always have slices of: Cheese, Pepperoni, Funky Slice (a meaty combo of the day) & Veggie Slice (a veggie or vegan combo of the day). Friendly service, I go there a lot for lunch! Good prices too for the quality & location - great place for a quick bite if you're downtown!

All star pizza is an amazing and very simple place to go to if you’re looking for a great pizza. My husband and I are both big and so it’s nice to stop in and they always have new and fresh vegan options. Like a vegan of the day pizza that we can try as often as we would like. The staff is pretty knowledgeable and the price is pretty perfect
