    Best Crossfit gym in Boston. Great coaches and programming. This is my home box, but for anyone traveling in Boston here are some reasons to drop in: Classes every hour morning, mid day, and night Open gym all day Lots of free parking Showers

    I’ve been at CrossFit Southie since 2014 and have had such a rewarding and fun experience. I didn’t have any prior experience with CF when I started. The coaches are so helpful and knowledgeable and tailor their feedback to each person’s capabilities and needs. The programming and options are awesome and work for all levels. The community is so supportive and fun. Everyone is welcomed and people cheer on everyone and celebrate their successes as their skill set grows. I’m in great shape as a result of it. It helps me push myself, I’m inspired every time I go, and it is surprisingly fun.

    Dropped in for a class whilst traveling to Boston for work. Very cool gym setup and the coaches Jake and Danielle were very welcoming! Highly recommend checking this place out!

    Very friendly people! Organized workout and modifications for every level of crossfitter! Great coaching with technique and encouragement. If I am ever back in Boston, I will definitely bring some Texas back to Crossfit Southie!

    Great community with an excellent coach! It was very easy to sign up for a drop in class. There are lots of options for class times and open gym times. Get a tshirt if you drop in, they have unique designs and the material is comfortable. The gym is humongous and has a good layout. Definitely going back soon.

    Coach was extremely kind and welcoming. Atmosphere was fun but also slightly competitive. Solid workout, stayed moving for 60 mins straight. GREAT warmup and mobility.

    This is hands down the best CrossFit gym in Boston. No other gym can compare to the space, community, social events, and programming (and I have tried other gyms in Boston!). Come here if you want to experience the epitome of what CrossFit can offer. Most CrossFit gyms dream to be what CrossFit Southie is!!

    My wife and I have undergone personal training with Goose and Sarah for the last 6 months, and we could not be happier with our experience. CrossFit Southie offers a welcoming atmosphere for those new to CrossFit (like us) and does a great job of teaching new skills and offering a clear path towards athletic advancement. My training has been with Goose, and I can without a doubt say that I am in the best shape of my life. Goose does a great job of understanding my fitness progression and pushes me just past what I think I am capable of. He listens to my feedback, tailors our workouts to my goals, and adjusts for the specific needs of my body. He communicates well and does a great job teaching me techniques I never thought I would be capable of. Rope climbs, head stand holds, split jerks and snatches are all movements I could not do before working out with him. Goose is always professional, friendly and is a fun workout partner. This is the most athletic I have ever felt in my life, and I look forward to continuing my progression with the help of the CrossFit Southie team.

    The workouts are fun, the fellow members are inspiring, the workouts are led by best trainers who give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts and just the right amount of encouragement. The atmosphere is awesome. It’s a life changing gym experience and I recommend it highly to all my fiends and family.

    I’ve been a member for 5 years. This gym is more than a gym it’s a community. CrossFit Southie is the best of both worlds. Classes to motivate and open gym. The coaches spend the time to teach and cheer on every member. The open gym slots are great for mobility or days you want to work on a specific movement.

    Crossfit Southie offers intense workouts taht are legit really fun for a quick drop in. That's perfect for everyone from beginner to advance athletes. Really a fun place to do a drop in during your vacation! ;)

    CrossFit Southie is amazing!!! I am up visiting family for vacation and wanted to squeeze in a workout. Was able to sign up for a drop in and get an amazing workout. The coach Frank was awesome! He took his time to help me with my form for overhead squats(something I struggle with). He was very helpful and encouraging. Motivated me to try my hardest! Thank you CrossFit Southie for being so welcoming! Highly recommend them.

    I was in Boston for the weekend and I didn’t want to wait until Monday to do 23.2, so I dropped in for a 7am on a Friday. I signed up, payed and filled out my waiver on line which was all super easy. Once I arrived for the class, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. It’s easy to get to and I has plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

    I have finally found the right place, with the right energy where getting fit and improving every day is not a secret reserved for a small group of advanced athletes. Here we all have the same opportunity. Big space, great coaches that explain the exercises (not only read the board), and care about you during the class, very well structured workouts, and no matter what the schedule is and your position during the class, you always find what you need next t you. I drive 30 min every day just to get in here and as soon as I open the door I always think that it was so worth it.

    I joined CFS the day i moved to Boston after college and was a member for four years. This place amplified my entire experience living in Boston and it still to this day is one of the things i miss the most after moving away. I moved about a year ago and still look forward to visiting the Boston area and dropping in for a workout every time. The coaching staff, location, equipment, other members, and level of programming is second to none and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a fulfilling gym and fitness experience.

    One of the best decisions I've ever made was joining CFS! I joined as a complete beginner last year and never looked back. There's options for anyone and everyone here. Between all of the amazing coaches, classes, and friends you make, I doubt there's another gym out there like this one.

    Amazing gym! I’ve been Crossfitting and coaching on and off, mostly off, since 2009. In that time I’ve been to several gyms across the US and I can say, without a doubt, CrossFit Southie is by far the best gym. The gym has nailed it in multiple areas. The coaches are trained extremely well and very well versed in all the movements. I’ve always had a good coach at a gym but it’s usually one or two not the entire staff, which is the case at CrossFit Southie. For all movements, the coach will , without fail, go through the breakdown of the movement, monitor your movements and correct (gently) as needed. In addition to knowing their craft every coach that has trained me is positive, encouraging and kind. I’ve never felt out of place or awkward for not knowing something or doing something incorrectly. The gym space is also massive so plenty of room to workout and stretch as needed. The workouts themselves are tough but manageable and scaleable to your level. Multiple levels of a workout are offered - all the way from fire breather to I’ve never done CrossFit, please help! Since being here (joined less than a year ago) I have personal bested nearly of my lifts. The lifts I haven’t are because I’ve been hesitant due to prior injury. Socials and competitions are also regularly planned, so if you’re looking for more than a gym that is an option also. I’ve been to several and had a blast. And, last but certainly not least, the members are wonderful. The atmosphere cultivated by the gym owners is welcoming and warm. I’ve been to cliquish gyms where you feel like an outsider. Not the case here. The members are fantastic. They will cheer you on in a grueling workout and encourage you to push yourself. If you’re looking for the best coaching, the best workouts, and a fantastic group atmosphere CrossFit Southie is for you! Come on in and give it a try!

    I joined CrossFit Southie in 2015, left for a while and came back last year. The coaching is still the best- they don't let you slide on technique, being smart and doing things the right way so you don't get injured. They are engaged with you in every class... The community of people is wonderful. No one judges you, and they're all supportive of you, no matter where you are on your journey... Highly recommend CF Southie to anyone, whether you're a 25 year old beast or a 70 year old looking to get in shape and meet some awesome people. You won't be disappointed!

    Incredible place. I’ve been to many CrossFit gyms, fitness programs and classes across the country and this one is the best. The programming, coaching and community are great. Programming challenging, yet well balanced - both each day and over time. Coaches give everyone the right attention - providing coaching that is actually useful. Recommended for anyone who is serious about fitness - whether you’re an experienced CrossFitter or not.

    Member for about one year and absolutely love it! Amazing coaches and environment at CFS. Workouts are programmed very well - challenging enough for an advanced athlete while also able to be scaled so a new comer can get the same workout stimulus. Great balance of Strength & CrossFit Skill work followed by a fun metcon. Always looking forward to the next workout!

    CrossFit Southie is an awesome gym that is worth checking out! I joined about a year ago with little CrossFit experience, and the gym’s coaches and its’ community completely changed my life. This is the best, most complete gym I have been to top down. The coaches are very knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful, the programming is great, and the community is as tight knit as I have ever seen at a gym. If you are moving to Boston, or currently living in Boston looking to try something new, CrossFit Southie is a great way to get fit and meet some awesome people!

    I love this place. Signed up a few months ago and I drank the Crossfit Kool-aid almost immediately. Been to a few other gyms but none of them had anything on CrossFit Southie - I highly recommend checking out.

    Great box. Tons of space and equipment, nice community of members with some really good athletes, and wonderful coaches. Lots of parking as well which is a huge bonus for Boston. If you're looking for a great workout, this place won't disappoint.
