YUM! The garlic bread and Bolognese were delicious. The caprese was pretty good and my finance was happy with his lasagna too. The caccio e pepe was just okay, but we got it for free since it was an accidental order input, so can't complain about that. Cute little spot with good service.

I was beyond excited to visit this restaurant and I was sorely disappointed after all the positive reviews. We were sat at what I can safely say is the worst seat in the house. There’s a table where there clearly shouldn’t be, and I was excited to take a cute birthday picture because I saw this restaurant had great aesthetics. Well not our table - see the picture featuring literal boxes. On top of that, we opted to sit inside in case it was too chilly out. Joke’s on us - they sat us directly under the air unit and it was frigid, which a table adjacent to us agreed with. We moved the table two feet over ourselves during the night (see picture) which just made the positioning even more awkward for foot traffic. There were plenty of other tables open and we saw another couple get a much better table 20 minutes after us - not sure what we had to do to get that type of service? Make a reservation 3 weeks in advance instead of 2? The entire service wasn’t bad, but we were sat 5 minutes before a table beside us and were served coinciding to them. In general, that’s not a big deal but when our main course arrived to the table as the other table was already paying the bill, it became clear we weren’t a priority. What made it so terrible was how unpleasant the setting was - if we enjoyed the atmosphere we wouldn’t have noticed the discrepancy in food delivery. We were there for an hour and a half but scarfed our meal down in the last ten minutes just to end the night. I will say, the food was good and better than some places, but also not the best we’ve had in the North End. The meatballs were outstanding - it was the only highlight of the visit. I had chicken Marsala that was enjoyable and my boyfriend had the lasagna. No complaints there, but food is not enough to make an establishment worth visiting. We do not plan to return soon, which is a letdown after MONTHS of waiting for the “perfect” time to go.

Got shrimp scampi, spaghetti meatball, and cannolis. The food was really delicious. The only con is that the place is a bit small, as we were really close to the table next by. Overall would come again/recommend!

Wonderful outdoor seating. Not loud at all despite being outdoor near a relatively busy road. Wonderful service. Focaccia bread is amazing. Garlic bread with cheese and sauce is very good(4pcs). The mozzarella sticks were very big and also very good(5pcs). Lasagna blew me away from the first bite and was just as amazing all the way through the last bite. Gnocchi is also really good with nice melted cheese on top and marinara sauce. Shrimp scampi is very good with nice half tomatoes. Chicken parm/chicken parmesan was HUGE!!! The chicken piece is huge and is very good. Although pizza is not offered the pastas are definitely worth eating here for.

Nice relaxed place to get some good Italian food! Bolognese and garlic bread were delicious. House salad is a basic Italian salad that hit the spot. The vibe is relaxed. The alley that's been converted into the patio is very cute. We are in the lower level with booth/chairs, definitely liked the feel of the place.

Solid Italian basics in a fun low key atmosphere. Most importantly not crazy busy and touristy like the rest of the North End. This isn't fancy, it's happy and home-ey! Also an easy walk to Bovas Bakery for another off the beaten path hidden secret selection of desserts!

This place is very quaint, small.. we made reservations, but it happened to be a cold slow evening. The food was delicious!! Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigian, and the lasagna.. Our fave was the lasagna by far, not your typical plain lasagna the flavors and meats really bumped up the taste buds!! Ambience is bery dinner dat worthy. Skip the big name italian restaraunts and come here!! we loved it!

Took my partner here for dinner and man we loved it. I ordered some mozzarella sticks for the appetizer and they were very good. The sticks were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Some of the best sticks I have had in a while. For the entree I went ahead and ordered the lasagna and man it was good. Boston certainly has some really great Italian restaurants. If you are in the area go ahead and give this place a try. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly and hardworking. They check up on you regularly and make sure you have everything you need. Side note the entry is located up the stairs not down stairs.

While this restaurant may be too popular to be considered a hidden gem, It feels like one to me. The location is a short walk from the main streets of the North End, and the restaurant is easy to overlook- unless you are looking for it. This creates a wonderful secluded and intimate feeling!! l sat on the outdoor patio which has the most lovely atmosphere with the outdoor lights, classic red checkered table cloths, night breeze, and traditional chairs. The food was simply delicious and the service was friendly and speedy! Will definitely be coming back :)

First off, this is the cutest restaurant I have been to. It’s dimly lit, with lights, and vintage themed artwork over the walls. Of course, it has the red checkered tablecloths for an Italian vibe. We went here before a concert, and I was SO afraid of missing it, because sometimes places have slow service. We were in and out in 35 min and weren’t even trying to rush! It was perfectly timed. I was amazed at how great the service was. We ordered the garlic bread, which is super cheesy and delicious, along with the gnocchi and pasta ala vodka. I wouldn’t change a thing. The complimentary bread is amazing, although I wish I had left some to dip into my extra sauce! This is the perfect spot for a date night. Can’t wait to come here again and try other items on the menu!

Recommended from a friend and it did not disappoint!! Had to fight for my life to get a bite of the garlic bread from my own son because it was so delicious. He couldn't get the bolognese in his face fast enough either. Healthy sized portions. Excellent service and staff, super cute atmosphere. Hopefully will be back in Boston and will return soon!

My boyfriend was on the hunt for the best spaghetti and meatballs in Boston and found this place on google and it did not disappoint, the meatballs were SO good! I got the lasagna which was also delicious, it had three or four different types of meat and the garlic bread was also good! We sat inside but there is a really cute outdoor patio as well. Service was great, will definitely return!

😎how many times have you been to this place? 1 🍝food: average. i was a bit disappointed after all the positive reviews on google - meatballs are good though. 💬service: kinda slow although there were not many customers at that time. 💁🏻‍♀️would I revisit this place? Probably not - I would rather try other restaurants at North End.

So so good! We ordered take out. We loved the garlic bread (real baguette), the pasta all vodka and the chicken marsala. A great way to celebrate the weekend. Thank you!

I wish I could give an extra star. This is what you're expecting when you visit a Boston Italian restaurant. Old-style feels. Friendly staff, never feeling rushed. And the food 🤤 They have to have a little Italian woman hiding in the back. A must go!!!

Solid food, exceptional mozzarella sticks. Salad was nice and fresh. Had the special of the day pasta and was delicious summer dish with fresh veggies...great balance with the pasta and bread. No coffee or espresso...would have complemented the canolis for dessert. Great staff..Would absolutely eat here again...

The food was really good, service was nice, and the restaurant has a proper Italian restaurant feel. With a party of 2 at dinner it only took 10 mins for the food to come out. My only "complaint" is that the portions seem small compared to the price you pay. However, I am very much so a quantity-food-kind-of-guy. And it is in North End, so good luck finding better prices for this quality.

Delicious food in an adorable spot! Lovely foccacia. Split a carafe of the house white which was tasty and reasonably priced. Ordered the pasta alla vodka and added a chicken cutlet - delightful! Will definitely return

I usually love dining here and have not been disappointed. But I just ordered for pick up and am extremely upset. I paid $24 for a child’s size dinner. I’ve had this dish at the restaurant before and it’s not even comparable to the portion size.

The food was amazing. The bread, lasagna, and caprese salad were mouth-watering, and we savored every bite. We were visiting, and we wish we had an Italian place with food like this back home. The service was disappointing. Very little effort was expended in this regard by the staff. The atmosphere of the place was very charming. The only thing that would have added a great deal would be some actual Italian music playing in the background; they really miss the boat by playing pop music.

The food is delicious. I would go back and get the lasagna again. We left full and happy
