A go-to lunch spot in the Financial District. The food, especially the sandwiches, are awesome! The bread is fresh, the meat is freshly sliced and the sauces are all made in house. The ordering experience can be overwhelming. If you go during rush hour (11:45-1:00) expect there to be a line out the door or winding through the shop. The menu is really large (and very finely printed), making it difficult to decide what to get. I suggest looking up the menu ahead as you are often asked what your order is the second you walk in. My order is the Ottimo sandwich; add hot peppers and salami. Excluding my adds, the sandwich is grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. It is a bit oily, but very tasty. My one complaint to the restaurant is to remove the two tables inside. I have never seen anyone actually eat at them, and it makes the ordering/waiting experience very uncomfortable. It really makes no sense to have them; it just disrupts the flow of ordering, especially when you're expected to order as soon as you walk in.

Delicious and consistent! Their slices are literally 1/4 of a large pizza. Best deal for lunch in the area. Their sandwiches are delicious, too, I just can't stay away from these slices. Best slice around!!

It depends on the days you take to go. Some time the bread is not fresh The pasta eggplant is good but too fat The capres is good too but the tomatoes are some time not ripe

Very good food. The sandwiches are to die for, and include high quality ingredients for a reasonable price. I ordered online for pickup and paid extra for pesto, which I didn't get on my sandwich. The cannoli was also just okay. It was a Sicilian connoli with two cherries on the end of the filling. I will be returning to try pasta and some other sandwiches!

Incredible food. Fresh, delicious, and huge portions. I live in the North End, so thankfully get to experience some pretty delicious Italian food, but this place is better than most (if not all?) of them, and of course much more reasonably priced. Well worth the wait when there’s a line. Highly recommend.

The food is outstanding, but, a bit pricey, but still delicious, I just wish they we're open longer, I have to skip work twice a month just to eat here, but other then that it's still an awesome place to eat at.

Authentic, fresh, friendly. No indoor seating, but a perfect meal to eat in the park. Two orders of homemade meat ravioli with wonderful sauce and a tiramisu were around $30. Best value in Boston.

Taste was great. However almost burned my fingers off. The guy was nice told me to make sure I carried the package straight, problem was it was already leaking. It was more of a soup then a pasta and sauce. Price was a bit high.

Had the pumpkin ravioli and it was delicious. Good prices. They were churning out food pretty fast despite the place being super busy at lunchtime. Employees were working hard and very direct.

Real authentic Italian. The subs are delicious, filled to perfection with ingredients & fresh bread. Gets busy during lunch hours but worth it!

Great grab and go spot for lunch. My go-to is the Italian turkey club! A must stop when I am in Boston for work travel.

Been to Boston three days and our guide recommended the place. Dunno if this place is really an italian or just pretend to. Ordered four bolognese spaghetti and a sub with kinda mince meat. The sub was quite long but with no flavour at all but for the acidity of the tomato sauce, the pasta was bit overcooked, the sauce wasn’t bolognese, just plain marinara (quite acid as well) and the pasta wasn’t spaghetti but macaroni. The only thing I can recommend is not to go there :(

This place is amazing. My company will order from here once every other week for lunch. They are ALWAYS on time. This is a huge deal when you have 20+ people ordering lunch in the middle of the city. These guys are busy and do not have time to waste. They never forget items and typically arrive even 10 minutes early. The food is delicious. The meatballs are homemade, pizza is superb and the turkey tip salad is a widespread favorite. Highly recommended!

Got me the Monday lasagna special, I have to say the best in the city. It's made to perfection. 10/10 will come back to dine again.

Came during lunch hour on a Monday and they must have served 50 people to go sandwiches while I was eating my porcini cascioni. It had great porcini flavor and the little bits of sausage provided needed texture. Impressive place that caters to the lunch crowd!

So happy to have lucked out on finding this restaurant during our stay. Appears to be take-out only. Pepperoni pizza was great and a slice was huge! Lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious. Service was very fast and friendly. Looking forward to trying their sandwiches.

As others have said, this place is tiny, with just a bare handful of tables and a booming takeout business at lunch. They serve up a huge menu of authentic, fresh, delicious Italian-American classics with their pastas made in house every morning. But I think their greatest offering is the piadini menu, at least a dozen different versions of this famous Italian sandwich. Highly recommended.
