Not Going to Last Long Glad I went to try it and I’ve enjoyed David Chang’s other ventures. Unfortunately poor service and food quality for the high prices they charge don’t give me hope that Fuku is going to be around much longer unless something changes. I visited during the tail end of lunch hour during my work day and ended up having to wait over an hour for a single Chicken Sandwich order. During my wait, I observed 3 other patrons asking for refunds due to the long wait. Pretty inexcusable given the type of food being served and compared to how speedy the service is at neighboring lunch joints like Frank Anthony’s and Sweetgreen (these places happen to be consistently packed too). Besides that, the Sandwich itself was tasty but full of raw batter in the center. Certainly not worth the $11 they charge. If you are craving a burger, you would probably be taking your money to Shake Shack a few blocks away and spare yourself the wait. David Chang needs to come back and get this place in order.

Fuku is not what I was expecting. For some reason I was expecting a sit down restaurant. But the food was pretty good. They have some interesting spices on the chicken and fries. It is also cool that they have Boston specific food items. If you are ordering a chicken burger make sure you ask for lettuce, tomato and extra toppings because just the burger is literally just the burger and pickles. All the chicken here is fried chicken thigh which is dark meat. Fried dark meat in my opinion looks weird and uncooked so that threw me off. The service was friendly and the interior of the restaurant was nice. All in all it’s good food, but I’m in no rush to come back.

Chicken sandwhich was pretty good, but not sure how this stands out compared to chik-fil-a or Popeyes chicken. Ordered 1 sandwhich and 1 meal and it took 17 minutes wait time. Otherwise, place was clean, modern, and simple. Staff were friendly.

Ordered chicken wings with five spice dry rub and kimchi mayo. Overall, unimpressed with the wings as they weren't seasoned well. The super crispy batter was thick. Don't waste your time coming here. Bonchon is probably a better choice if you're looking to get some delicious fried chicken.

The spicy chicken is super delicious. The fries were a bit bland and wasn't too crazy about the cheese bread. Service was a bit slow but loved the sandwich

Absolutely delicious food and a great environment - I was waiting for this location to open for the whole summer and now that it is here it has exceeded my expectations. The chicken tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, and every dish was new and exciting. I highly recommend the BOS and the Spicy Koreano, both were delicious while also being surprisingly unique. Fuku pulls no punches on the spice or flavor, which is desperately needed in the seaport area. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a group together to eat, or even as a quick meal to grab for yourself!

Pretty damn good chicken. Got the BFC and it was very flavorful, maybe even too flavorful but the chicken was hot and juicy. It took two grown men some effort to finish the meal. Definitely higher quality than chic-filet and totally worth the extra few dollars. There was a line but processed through decently, not quickly but decently. Go early. Good customer service. Gave free chicken and slushy samples to people waiting in line. I would like to open a franchise of this if possible.

Service is nice. The menu is simple but the food is awesome. Chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavors of the sauces and fries are unique and appetizing. The sandwich looks exactly as pictured, not like these other fast food places. The portions of the chicken itself are fair, really generous. The drink options are delicious also.

The chicken sandwiches may vary in size. The second time I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich ($8), the chicken was much larger than the first. The fries($3.50) are delicious and have a seasoning that resembles MAMA noodle flavoring packets. Wet glazed wings($8) are good and large, but very spicy. Overall the food is alright, but a bit on the pricey side. Cannot replace Chick-fil-A when it comes to the chicken sandwich.
