Horrible experience! I entered just as they opened, and the cafe looked very nice. I am a writer and thought I'd sit down and write a bit in the morning, but the music was very loud (as it is often is when the staff prepares for opening up, which is of course fine). Upon greeting him I asked the owner if he could lower the music a little, as I intended to sit down and write (for instance my favourable impressions of wonderful Boston) ... he then totally snapped at me and told me "We don't have wifi anyway!"... I said I don't need any wifi just some peace if he could lower the music. The owner took a little circular walk, then turned back to me and said "NO - the music stays like this," and then he walked off into the kitchen.... I tried telling him I had come for coffee, and was all the way from Sweden which is the point where he showed me out and told me to go BACK to Sweden... Whatever you do, don't bring your laptop and don't ask the owner to lower the music! I don't know what this man may have been going through on this morning, so I won't judge, but it ruined my day so I thought I write it here.

We are tourists who do not understand English very well but so far we have not had a problem anywhere except here. The waiter could not have been more unpleasant and rude, making faces at us, without looking at us and without showing interest in understanding us. He didn't even let us ask and we had to leave. Nothing recommended.

Went there twice for breakfast during my stay here in Boston. The place is amazing, would definitely recommend to visit. Staff is friendly and very professional, food is freshly cooked and tastes marvelous - the best way to start your busy day. As someone has already mentioned, it is not so turisty and there were many locals (staff was greeting almost every second person by name), rather small, but was not too busy on weekdays morning. Would definitely miss it and visit again next time I am in Boston.

Super friendly and welcoming staff, the drink comes in cute mugs too. Very relaxing atmosphere and the prices are amazingly reasonable too!

Was not greeted at all and we were the only ones standing at the counter. Left and went to Billy’s 2 doors down. Billy’s was AWESOME!!

Absolute rudest service I've ever experienced. I had the audacity to kindly ask if they had any bagels left at 11:50am which was met with rudeness. When I said "ok no worries I'll get lunch" I was met with more rudeness and when I asked for a sandwich and then went to ask for a coffee I was given a frustrated sigh and a "wait! What toast?" Followed by "to go?". Where's the "anything else?" When I went to say I was going to order more, I was met with no word of a lie a giant eyeroll with his head thrown back. I left. The older gentleman with long gray hair doesnt know what good customer service is. Avoid this place.

Staff is friendly, however the saladas are just a mistake (don't order them), we ordered ceasar salads and it was just a bunch of lettuce with FOUR slices of chicken. The dressing was great tho...but we were not fully satisfied and went out to find more food

I love this place so so much .I never write reviews so it says something that I am now . I just started working down the street and I’m so glad I found this gem. I was all over the place this morning and totally forgot I ordered breakfast and they called me to remind me to pick it up and even reheated my food. They never seem annoyed either. I’ve ordered so many times and not once have I been disappointed. Esp when it comes to coffee - I’m usually such a diva and picky but I’m always so content. They know what they’re doing. I know one sip and I’ll wake up 😅 they make me feel like I belong too. I always leave smiling . Love these people!

Food and coffee were great. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was that of a classic coffee house.

Simple breakfast sandwiches and burritos at an affordable price. Recently placed an order online for pickup and the order was ready within 10 minutes. I got the grilled chicken burrito panini and the SEC bagel sandwich, and both were decent for the price. Bagels were slightly too chewy, but the panini was filling and had a good balance of flavors.

Warning: this can quickly becomes the favourite lunch and breakfast spot. Took me just one visit. Location is top notch, sit by the window and grab a nice cup and a breakfast or lunch sandwich. Lots of vegan and vegetarian sandwich options as well. The guys here are super friendly and can make a mean sandwich. Pricing is solid as well

A neighborhood gem. Friendly proprietors, welcoming yet unassuming vibe, delicious while also reasonably priced food and coffee. What's not to like? We initially stopped in out of convenience while spending a week in Boston, but ended up coming back for breakfast almost daily during our stay. We'll be back next time too.

The folks were super nice in there. It felt like they were just happy to be there. One of the employees helped a girl get a bag since hers tore in half. It was nice and warm inside which I LOVED. Vibes were good and I would deff recommend.

Wow, absolutely blown away by the delicious breakfast sandwiches! I wish this place was close to my house so I could start mornings with a great sandwich in such a nice cozy location!
