John F. Kennedy Birthplace

Historical place museum

👍 On Beals street in Brookline there’s an unassuming house that was home to the young Kennedy children including JFK & RFK. The entrance is in the back- I believe it’s free. There’s a quick tour where you’ll see the bedrooms, living room with a “little table” for the kids, etc. Just a short walk from...

It’s a neat place to go. Very cool if you enjoy JFK obviously. The guided ranger tour is something I missed, but the audio tour features Rose Kennedy as the speaker. There is a short film and nice rangers too. Careful if you are tall because there are a lot of low doorways!

Lovely to be here, roots from ireland however still non the wiser who they became so wealthy. From birth place in Boston to the a cruel ending in Dallas

Cool old house, doesn't take much longer than 30 minutes to see. Rangers are knowledgeable and happy to have visitors. Neat that this place exists in what is otherwise a regular neighborhood...well done for preserving a bit of history.

Nice place to visit. Ranger gives you a tour through the house upstairs and downstairs. If you want, you can buy timed tickets in the gift shop located in back door of house.

There’s a quick tour where you’ll see the bedrooms, living room with a “little table” for the kids, etc. Just a short walk from Coolidge Corner, there’s a sign that marks Beals street and shows the way. Occasionally on the anniversary of their deaths someone might leave flowers on the porch. It’s a quick stop, but only so many people can go in a once so you might end up waiting a 1/2 hour or so for your your if for some reason it’s busy

OMG. WHATTA GUY. FROM REBEL TO RULER. BIGGEST PLAYA TO EVER STEP FOOT IN OVAL OFFICE. INCITED SOME PROGRESSIVE STUFF. I just wish the museum stayed open 24 hours so I could stay forever ♾️

Go visit the birthplace of a warmonger who hired some of the most dastardly technocrats in America to engineer vast war crime in Southeast Asia. Brilliant. People stumbling over themselves to swallow hagiography about anyone who is a celebrity is part of what makes America unable to pursue positive change. When you reject the ugly truth about your past, you are doomed to repeat it.
