After becoming frustrated with the prices and lack of WiFi at Blue Bottle, the crowds at Diesel, lack of outlets at Thinking Cup, I was wondering whether I’d ever find a coffee shop with ample seating, WiFi, outlets, and good coffee. Was delighted to find Atomic Bean! It has great everything 😃

The type of place you could go every morning or every afternoon to chill and do work. Very cozy, and everyone who came in seemed like a regular. After a few interactions with the staff, I felt like one too! I forgive the next paragraph because there it didn't seem like there was a kitchen staff or pastry staff, just three young women handling every aspect of the operation that I could see, who were clearly all friends, and who were very friendly and concerned about my experience at their cafe. However... Four stars because the food was just okay. This seems to be its theme across other reviews: relatively cheap, homey, familiar, but not a place to go for some kind of exacting culinary excellence. Just a fun neighborhood hangout where the staff knows your name. Banana nutella croissant was top notch tho... So come here! See for yourself. Don't listen to one person's review.

Nice independent coffee shop. Lots of people with laptops (mostly Mac's) in hypnotic state along the wall. But also more sociable human beings at the tables. Coffee is good. Nice choice of teas and other drinks. More edible options would be better. Funny coffee themed jokes and photos sprinkled around the walls.

I just had a black regular coffee and an egg and bacon sandwich which was tasty. What I was looking for was a good place to do some study with my laptop and this was exactly for it. There is enough space, you will probably find a spot with a plug. My days in Boston did not start well but my stay in this cafe made me happy.

Love this cafe. The WiFi is great, perfect for doing work. The iced chai is really good. Staff is friendly (albeit a bit loud and chatty so if that sort of thing bothers you, it’d be hard to get work done here). I like the variety of breakfast options as well. Edit: While I still LOVE this cafe and it’s still my favorite in all of Cambridge for a work space, I deducted a star when I realized the barista was bringing in her baby everyday which is 1) disruptive because you hear a lot of crying and also customers will hold up the line to interact with the baby, 2) a health hazard.. I think there are actual regulations against bringing a baby behind a food/drink counter?, and 3) not great for the baby. Why would you bring a baby around scalding hot liquids? The first couple of times I ignored this but it’s become a pattern and I think it needs to be addressed. I understand the cost of childcare is difficult and I’m not in any way criticizing motherhood. I just think that there are professional standards that should be upheld for the three reasons I stated above.

A real GEM in the heart of Cambridge! By far my favorite coffee house. First and foremost staff makes delicious savory and sweet pastries, great for snack, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pastries come in a wide range of flavors that satisfy everyone's palate, whether you are vegetarian or not; they are tasty, fulfilling and, YES, made right by Atomic Bean Cafe [much better than the ones being sold in other local cafeterias! - and I am pro local]. On top of this, their staff always (ALWAYS) serves you their pastries with a complimentary slice of freshly cut pineapple: GREAT IDEA!! It is such a sweet treat and it makes me feel special, wouldn't you? Obviously their coffee's quality matches the one of their pastries. Is this all about coffee and pastries?!? Not at all; salads are freshly made, too (at great prices, as well). Their prices are very reasonable, staff is very friendly and cordial. It feels such a honest, genuine place where to spend some quality time, for yourself or with some good company. The place isn't usually too crowded and they offer free wifi, so it is great if you want to get some things done; but you shouldn't take too much advantage of it.In case you feel playful, I noticed they have a stack of board games to play with. For some reason every time I walk into this cafeteria, I feel like stepping in some Caribbean coffee house... I would like to thank the owner(s) and his/her staff for creating such a special space!

I love Atomic Bean. The coffee is amazing, and the folks who work there lift my spirits as much as the coffee does. The food is tasty too, especially the croissants and muffins with interesting flavor combinations.

I can imagine this place to be pretty good for studying --- starbucks can get pretty loud, but this place has much more of a quite cafe feel. I'm not sure how their food is, but their coffee is just OK in my opinion. (Still, it's better than Starbucks.)

Been here a few times to get work done because of their free wifi. The network is pretty spotty but it's free so I can't complain about that. The food is pretty good, same with the coffee, but both seemed a bit overpriced and it can often take a little while for the baristas to notice you at the counter. Overall, not a bad place, just not the best
