Long layover to Paris so touring the city of Boston was an amazing adventure. Came across the tea house with the most amazing journey. Tasted the 5 teas during the famous Boston Tea Party including a self-guided tour of the city scenery. I’m always thankful and excited for new experience. This place is awesome. Had a fantastic tea party time. LOL.

Great place to stop by if you’re in the area and wanting a fun historical spot. Entrance to the tea room is free and at the cafe you can purchase drinks/ pastries. For about $4 you can get a cup in which you can have unlimited tea. You’ll be able to taste test between 5 different teas. There’s indoor seating but also a balcony you can sit outside at. Loved stopping by here after lunch!

This is a MUST STOP for anyone that is wanting to check out the local area. This place is so fun! They have out all 5 of the most common teas from the era and you get to drink all the tea you want for a small charge. They also have a Sam Adams whiskey flight for under $20 and that is killer also. If you are in the area and want to check out a cool place with a little bit of a history lesson, i say you should stop. The tea is amazing, the service is great and the whiskey was fantastic!

The location would have great potential to be a spectacular tea room. Unfortunately they made it more like a fast food cafe with self service and pre packed snacks. Yeah the price is pretty cheap but the experience is cheap too. It’s a shame what they made out of a historical place.

Firstly, get the whole tour package - the ship experience et al. They do an amazing job of giving visitors an immersive experience. The tea room offers great views of the harbour and ships. You can get a tea tasting with various teas, including the types of tea the colonists would have enjoyed had they not thrown them into the water. There is also an afternoon tea, complete with scones and cream - very reasonably priced. All in all, a great experience!

It's more than just tea. Abigail’s Tea Room is where you will exit if you go on the Tea Party Boat Tour, so don't dismiss it as a just a touristy trap, no Abigails tea house can stand on it's own, the selection of Teas is exquisite. Exceeded my expectations. The sitting feels airy and open. There are windows all around, the backdrop is the ship. I saw guests playing period boardgames. Give yourself so time to experience the different types of teas, it is all you can tea. When I was there, they had 5 types of teas in huge tea pots, all labeled with an accompanying description and historical facts. The history behind the different brews/blends drips in politics. The staff keeps the place immaculate and stocked and always staying in character.

Chilly overcast day so we finished with hot teas at Abigail’s after our museum tour. The tea was nice and warm. Five different teas were enough to satisfy each taste in my family of five so we drank from our bottomless cups til we had our fill.

After the historical tour @bostonteapartyships, we went to Abigail's Tea Room and for $3.99 get a mug to try the historic teas thrown overboard back at the Boston Tea Party. There were 2 green teas: Singlo and Young Hyson Green Tea. The Bohea is similar to Lipton Tea. Congou was a little heavier. Then Souchong was from Fujian province, where my family is from. It was like smoky charcoal to smell and taste. What a budget way to enjoy and learn history!

Lovely setting for an afternoon tea. Pay for your cuppa, get a cup. And try up to 5 different teas. Also some lovely tea cakes on offer. Lovely gift shop. Also good views of the boats and along the river.

Delightful staff, a place packed with history and an array of historic Teas. If that sounds like your thing then you will love this place. If you're sight seeing its a great place to stop and recoup, have a snack and rest by the harbor in between other tourist things. If you're a local it's also a really nice place for a snack and some great tea at a good price.

There is no tea shop on the country as rich in history as this one. Abigail's tea room let's you get a real taste of the exact teas that were dumped into the harbor during the famous boston tea party. Come see what all the fuss is about

Thinking about experience - the Boston Tea Party! Tea itself should've been better, though. Nevertheless, $9 with gifted tea cap, listening story from the YouTube sitting comfortably while drinking tea is absolutely worth it!

Tasting the 5 teas was a good experience. I suggest taking a picture of the description of the tea, then reading it at a table. This allows for everyone to read at their own speed without collecting a line.

The tea was so good, and it was very cool to be trying the famous tea party teas. Everyone was really friendly, and the environment was nice too! The tea tasting is so affordable, and it was really fun to try these unique flavors. Who'd have thought smoked tea would be so yummy! And the chive and cheese scones also hit the spot!!

So much fun to try the 5 teas that were poured into the harbor! Although the smell of one tea was so bad I didn't dare try it. There are places on either side where you can pour out the tea if you don't care for it. The clam chowder and scones are also really tasty. Perfect stop for a treat after the museum tour!

Enjoyable experience with all you can drink tea for a good price. It is suppose to be the tea that was carried during the Boston Tea Party. Area is cozy and there is an outside sitting patio with a view of the boats.

This is an amazing spot to visit in historical Boston. You really feel like you are visiting this important part of Bostonian history. On top of that, it is the coolest thing to be able to try the very teas involved in historical event. Most importantly, all of the teas are absolutely delicious and are actually brewed properly, which is such a rare and beautiful experience.

My heart is happy when a scone is served with strawberry jam and cream. It’s just the right sweetness for a cup of tea.

A must-see for Boston visitors. Also hard to not see it if you plan to walk the city. Quaint tea house with all of the teas they originally had in the Boston Tea Party. You can pay to take the ship tour/cruise, but you don’t have to. Little bits of history sprinkled about the cafe. Clean bathrooms, great gift shop

A bit touristy but very informative and fun. Buy the bottomless cup and try all the teas!

We had tea on the same harbor where the boston tea party occurred.
