As someone whose never tasted Indian food before, I can say that this was the place where my love for it began. The taste was something special with a beautiful blend of spice and texture that melts in your mouth. The bread was warm and soft and I used it to dip everything in. If I ever visit Boston again I will certainly be back! Thank you Mumbai Spice for a little taste of India!

One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited in Boston. Had a great time over here as it has awesome dining space inside and outside as well. Interiors are based on the theme Mumbai city where you can see pics from various locations of mumbai. Tried and tasted this things over here. For a mumbaikar like me the first option we always search is vada pav 1) Vada pav - (5/5) (highly recommended) What if I tell you that the same taste from a local shop anywhere in Mumbai can be found here as well, wouldn't you try it?I did and it was damn awesome 2) Pav bhaji - (4.5/5) (highly recommended) Again a dish from Mumbai Wich we people love a lott. You can make it spicy as well according to your spice level. 3) Chicken lollipop (4/5) - tender chicken inside and properly cooked or I can say proper tandoori done on the outside. I was literally craving and searching for the lollipop which I ate in Mumbai and I found it here. 4) Chicken biryani (4/5) - I must say the quality and quantity was awesome and the taste was also marvelous. A must try dish again. P.s this are my personal favorite dishes and I always try this dishes only at a new restaurant and based on that I give my ratings. Service was prompt and good If in Boston then this is must go place Bon appetit

Im so so glad I finally stopped in after walking by for so long!! This place is amazing! The food prices are very fair for the quality - everyone complaining about the prices, remember a Big Mac meal costs 12$ these days! I thought it was extremely reasonably priced. I got paneer korma and it was sooo creamy and savory and delicious! The garlic naan was a huge portion. The rose water cosmopolitain was SO GOOD OMG. Thank you guys so much I can’t wait to come back it was delicious!!

The food arrived after 40 minutes, was cold and they added gratitude even after the poor service. The portion size does not compensate for the price. The ambience was quite good though.

I stay in Boston for more than 5 years now. I have known this place but haven’t visited so frequently because of the bad reviews my friends gave. One day I decided to give them a chance and ordered the Hakka noddles. It was the blandest dish I had ever tasted. No salt or spice. Please do not order or eat here if you are a person who likes to enjoy a bit of spice and taste.

I normally avoid giving bad reviews but having dinner here was so bad that I couldn't stop myself. The ambience of the restaurant is so good and it is very well branded, great options in menu but the FOOD should be good too! I hate to say "IF YOU LOVE MOMOS DON'T TRY HERE". Chilli garlic Vegetable Hakka Noodles was so so bad, we just could not eat it. 🥹 Vada Pav was still edible but in some portions the Vada was burnt and somewhere salt was not present. They do not acknowledge the feedback also, they don't care shockingly. I do not recommend this restaurant at all, if you have time please go somewhere else. 😞

Spicy Restaurant in Boston. Food is good, but if you ask for spicy then it’s crushed red pepper spice 🌶 in your food.

They need a lot of improvement, I think. Went there for dinner with my friend on a Sunday night. We ordered Manchow soup, veg and non-veg, to start and 2 chicken biryani. We were told that they're about to close in sometime, so couldn't have much time to decide on our orders. (we had entered restaurant at around 9:15 pm). Got our Biryanis before the appetizers since they didn't have idea if soup was served to us or not. However, the server was humble enough to admit the mistake. Sorry to say, but the food was way far from the expectations. Don't want to say much about it. Adding photos for reference. Very less likely to visit there again.

You can get very good Indian food here at Mumbai spice. It’s super close to Northeastern University and the symphony T stop.

We came in at 6pm. The staff assistant us in selecting stuff. We ordered the mango lassi, veggie Biryani, Chicken Chettinad and Papadum. The Mango tasted like a smoothie. It was delicious and sweet. The Veggie Biryani was packed with spices and seasoning. The Chicken Chettinad was so flavorful and spicy. We used naan bread to dip the sauce. The Papadum was okay with the two dips that was included. Definitely worth a shot

This place was delicious! They were very accommodating and attentive to my dairy allergy. I don't have cross contamination issues, so I was able to enjoy some of their street food (pani purri and samosa). My companions had their biryani and said it was top notch! Definitely recommend.

I have never written a bad review. However, in this case, it is warranted and I think management attention is needed here (already reported to staff who seemed relatively unphased). First, there was only one waitress covering the entire restaurant, making service very slow. Second, and most importantly, BOTH myself and the friend that I was dining with had human hair in our food. They were different dishes, prepared at different times (I came a 1/2 hour later than my friend). I could not finish my dish after finding this. Reported to staff.

Delicious indian food and kindest staff. One bad thing about this restaurant, they automatically detected 12 % as gratitude without our consent if you are two. 18 % if you are more than 5. The worst part is after you have billed with this 12 %, they are providing a final bill to write a tip amount in addition to the above mentioned deduction. This is really bad. It is too expensive because of the above mentioned additional costs to eat in this restaurant.

Restaurant was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and polite. I tried many dishes there but most of them were not exceptionally good.I order hot and sour soup and it tastes like soya sauce and 🌶️ oil only. Then their fried momos were more like samosas, very hard and had only one whole chicken piece inside them. 🌶️ 🧄 fried rice were overloaded with 🌶️. I am giving them 3 stars just for cholay bhaturray, those were really nice 😊

This was my first time trying Indian food and I’m glad I chose Mumbai spice. The food was so good. We had the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, chicken samosa, naan, chicken biryani. We were a party of 2 and we had a wait time of about 5 mins. Our server was friendly and even recommended drinks we could try. The drinks are really good too. I love spicy food so I was really pleased when the rice we got was actually spicy as requested! I highly recommend Mumbai spice, you will not be disappointed!

I’m very surprise about the rating. Food is delicious enough. Few points tho: take advantage of your popularity as one of the Indian restaurants around. People come in to eat, put them in front so passerby see the customers. Why you have dark back side? Clean up the bathroom and upgrade the interior. Waitresses are nice. Quick service
