Excellent Mexican street food spot that I stumbled upon after a visit to Mission Hill and the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum Their street corn was absolutely delicious as were there moist and flavourful tacos! I got the steak and carnitas tacos. I always love to get my hands on Mexican coke which is a treat. Definitely stop by for the authentic food and lovely Frida vibes! Very comparable to the tacos I enjoyed in Phoenix, AZ. I suppose reasonable prices for the Boston area. Paid a little over $6 for two tacos. Tried the mild salsa, it was good. Grilled chicken and pastor tacos = would do again.

Found some sort of stick in my food.. Rice is kind of dry, beans are good though. Enchiladas are solid and the meat is full of flavor. Disappointing portions. Other Mexican takeout in the area is more generous.

Great Mexican with a great selection of ingredients and well put together meals. I had a burrito with the verde pork and it was flavorful and delicious. They also have some great chips though I was a bit disappointed in the flavor of the salsa - it didn't have much spice to it. One thing I was extremely happy to see were the tamales on the menu and enjoyed the chicken tamale immensely - that is something that can be hard to find up north. Seating is limited but it is a great location for take out. Well worth your time and money to stop by.

Great food, happy staff & great prices. Vanessa the cashier is super friendly, nice and has great customer service skills. I now work hybrid and the days that I have to come in I make sure I always eat here. The quesadillas, tacos, and bowls are my favorite.

There food is really good but like alotbof places their prices have gone up so don't even look at the price menu while in the store or you will just get annoyed when they charge to $1-$2 more. Again their food is pretty good! I've had their burritos, tamales, quesadillas and yum!

I love how all the Chilacates I've been to have to consistently amazing. We ordered on the screen and the food was prepared fairly quickly. We chose to dine in but they still gave us food in to-go bags which was fine with me because I didn't finish my food. I ordered the carne asada torta which was not dry at all and was actually the best I've ever had, my friends ordered the bowl and the birria tacos. Everything was incredible.

Soo bomb! That’s the review 🤣 But honestly, the chicken quesadilla with added veggies was soo tasty. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and the portion was perfect. Loved the dipping green sauce. The quesadilla came with guac, pico, lettuce, and some sour cream on the side.

It was good place to grab a quick bite to eat but the tacos was a little overpriced. But overall the experience was definitely nice

Good fast chicken burritos been keeping me alive for two years from here. No parking in the area. The employees are quick and get your order done right the first time, on the weekends at night they can be a long line sometimes. Other than that their service is pretty fast

OMG! I was in the area and searched “food near me” and decided to try this spot out! Omg, best decision ever. I ordered the shrimp burrito and shrimp tacos. Very flavorful! There’s a “special” sauce in the burrito that has changed the game for my tastebuds, forever! I was perfectly fine with the Chipotle burrito for my Mexican-inspired eats, but now, I’ve seen the light!! I found the taco flour to be a bit dry and not as flavorful but the salsa verde and salsa picante gave the tacos the kick it needed and made up for the dryness.

I'm a Southern California native, and these tacos are hands down the best I've ever had. Generous portions of freshly grilled fish topped with delicious mango salsa. I ordered 3 but could eat 7 just because they were THAT good. The hot sauce is also 🔥 👌

Stopped here for lunch with some colleagues and it was great. I wouldn’t say much for their dine in experience but the food was excellent and the service was super fast. I had grilled shrimp tacos and they added pineapple chucks which was lovely.

Having worked next door over the past 5 years, I can safely say that Chilacates helped keep me fed and alive for many years. Some of my favorite dishes from them are the tortas w/ lengua, the burrito bowl, and tacos. Service is usually fast and doesn't need too much of a wait. For dessert definitely try out their churros which isn't super obvious on their menu.

Maybe I have an americanized pallete, but the food was super average. They do give you a good amount, however, a the chips are 10/10. The ordering was also super awkward the employees didnt seem very helpful.
