The friendlies in Delta terminal A ordered a lobster roll with fries and a bottle of water for $29. The lobster is nasty, I’m pretty sure it was frozen. Mayo was mangy. Roll was not toasted and gross. Fries were good. Overall, they should stop selling lobster rolls if your can’t give fresh lobster in Boston of all places. Basically I paid $29 for a bottle of water and a small handful of fries, tossed the rest.

I know airport food is overpriced! This is stupid for what you get...turkey club comes with no lettuce, tomato, or cheese. Unless you ask for specifically when you order...🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t get me started on the premade salads. Wilted and brown they are not fresh and toppings are minimal at best. Save yourself the money and starve.

Ordered a single scoop of ice cream on a cone (x2 for myself and my little daughter @$4.39 each.) As any parent with a child that ends up wearing her food, I had the lady behind the counter put it in a cup for me. The lady said she had to charge me extra for the cone. That didn’t make much sense to me so I waited for her to ring me up. I thought she said $10.50, but she corrected me and stated $13.50! It was like $2 extra for a paper cup (each! Since I asked for a cup myself too. So $4 more than I wanted to pay). I repeated my order and she again said she charged me extra for the cone. So I told her forget the cup then, just give me the ice cream and cone. Well, she redid the order and I could see why there is a price discrepancy. The single scoop on a cone which she quickly plopped right on top (instead of other ice cream places which try to fill the cone) is literally half the size of a single scoop of ice cream in a cup. As expected, bits of ice cream from my daughters cone and my cone were falling to the floor as I was paying (but this wasn’t due to messy eating, it was because the lady didn’t pack the ice cream onto the cone, the ice cream sat loosely on top and the whole thing could have toppled over if we weren’t careful. I wasn’t trying to cheat the system to try to get more ice cream. This was supposed to be a small sweet treat to end the day. Somehow though, at the end of the day, I feel cheated.

Flying out of Logan and stopped here for lunch. I got the Philly and my wife got the Patty Melt. Both completely sucked. For two sandwiches and two bottled waters it was almost $50. Freaking unbelievable!! What a waste and total ripoff!! Patty Melt 1/10 - frozen, tasteless “meat” slabs and reheated fries. Disgusting. Two bites and tossed in trash. Philly Cheesesteak 1/10 - hardly any flavorless meat. Tossed is trash also. Service 1/10 - the name is a joke. Friendly is what they ARE NOT!! Atmosphere 2/10 - it’s an airport. Meh Overall 1/10 - highly suggest you DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! Totally not worth it!!

I mean - it’s just average - the place in the airport needs to be cleaned better! Staff are fine - the food is just average like burger is 6/10 and fries are 7/10 the shake is a saving grace at 8.5/10 Overall - if you have to eat and you are at that terminal, it’s not the worst choice

Don't waste your time. I love Friendly's but the people that own and work this location are terrible. I walked up and they were all just sitting around on phone not helping anyone or caring about anything that was going on. I waited 5 minutes and the lady was just sitting on a small stool on her phone. When she finally found the time to greet me all she said was "what do you want". I asked for a turkey melt she said we are all out. I asked if they were out of anything she said no. I asked for a Ruben she said we are all out if that too. We only have a few burgers left. It was 5pm. I just walked away. The place was filthy too. New management and workers are need ASAP. PLEASE.

Patty melt is not worth the price. Fries had no salt and tasted like burnt oil. Should have gone next door to Sbarro.

Price aside since it's in an airport... There's a Reuben on the menu, but when I ordered it, the counter help said simply they don't have them - no explanation, no apology, no real concern. So we ordered a patty melt. It comes with fries. Fries were cold and stale. The cheese was like processed cheese whiz. The patty was small. No condiments on the patty. That's ok, can I have some ketchup and mayo? No, we don't have any mayo. At a hamburger shop. Again, no explanation, no concern from the staff. Just, "wWe don't have any mayo." No courtesy service. Poor quality food. Insufficient supplies. Items on the menu are not available. And high prices. What's not to love? Friendly's should be embarrassed. And Boston Logan should be ASHAMED of themselves for allowing this to happen. By the way, two patty melts and two sodas was $40. I haven't been to a Friendly's since I had a bad experience at one in 1993. It will be another 30 years before I give them another chance.

I took the opportunity when connecting at Boston Logan to visit this Friendly's for the first time in several years, since I moved out of New England and don't have any Friendly's locations near me anymore. I went out of my way to walk from one end of Terminal A near my gate clear over to the other side of the terminal. All I wanted was a scoop of ice cream for my nostalgia. They said no, breakfast only. At an airport where you can drink alcohol any time of day, I couldn't have an ice cream at 10am. It's one thing to not cook lunch entrees while the grills are still set to a lower temperature for cooking breakfast (which can still be done), but this had nothing to do with cooked food. Just needed a scoop of ice cream. There was no line, no rush. But they couldn't be bothered. In theory the blame rests on management for a nonsensical policy, but the employee couldn't seem to care less either. Unless you really have a specific need stemming from past history with Friendly's, AVOID this location. Even by airport standards, you will be disappointed by lackluster service at triple the usual prices. I just can't comment on the quality of the food because I wasn't allowed to buy any.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was a complete rip off, very disappointing after a 10 hour flight. The "Turkey Club" is not even a club. Its a very low quality grilled cheese with turkey, American cheese, and way too much bacon.. also no lettuce. NOT WORTH $16 at all. The meat from the cheeseburger tastes weird. They dont take cards and didn't even give me a receipt which is a little sketchy. Eat literally anywhere else.

Tasteless patty melt and out of other items on the menu. Staff could use some "friendly" training as well. The burger was good for airport fare.

What's the point of having store hours if these aren't the hours of your store? Was just at the Boston airport location which decided to close at 6:30 PM and only do "fries and chicken tenders" because otherwise they would have to "clean the grill." Call me old-fashioned, but isn't that part of being a line cook? When I was a line cook, you served until store closing time, THEN begin your cleanup. The store hours were there for the customers, not your work shift. Cleanup is always an after-closing job, not while customers are still in the store placing orders. I’m also SURE that you should be using grill cleaning chemicals when still serving food.

This terminal A location in no way upholds the standards of the local company and desperately needs an intervention from corporate as its horrendous employees and service is causing harm to the brand. As an airport worker I wholeheartedly recommend travelers choose anything else.

The service was friendly enough, I guess, although our server spent a lot of time talking with the cook while we stood at the counter ready to order. Our order was sent out wrong. Our server said the correct order when calling us up to get our food, but one of our sandwiches was not correct. We ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich & got two cheeseburgers instead. I don't know what the issue was, but at least it was resolved. The cheeseburger was not seasoned and had no flavor. The chicken sandwich was good, but was still not fixed as ordered. But I just didn't want to take any longer to be able to eat. I truly hate to complain..I rarely do, but this wasn't a great experience. I almost feel like the service is based on a, "What are they gonna do?" attitude. Yes, there are other options in an airport, but each option should be, at the very least, Good and not Mediocre. Would recommend in a pinch.

Made me wait in line for 20 minutes only to tell me that they were all out of their breakfast items at 7am. The sandwich I did order was soggy and much more expensive than the breakfast item I would have ordered. The worst part is it’s probably the only thing available to you when you get to this terminal as the Dunkin’ has a massive line

Ordered a Reese Pieces Sunday and got a scope or vanilla and a few Reese Pieces. I explained and showed them a picture from the Friendly's website and was told they couldn't make that, because they weren't trained. So I paid $7 for a scoop of vanilla and 5 Reese Pieces. Used to be a huge fan, but now Friendly's is just a sad shell of its' former self.

Garbage food even for an airport. Fits have no flavor or salt, the burger is boiled and then microwaved. Do not waist your money here. Pizza place next door is a better option.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I work for an airline and had a long layover and wanted lunch. Stood at the register for 7 minutes while the cashier; wearing a Pink Victoria’s Secret tshirt no uniform; sat and ate behind the counter. She finally came over after 3 people had built up behind me and I asked for a Philly cheesesteak. She said “we don’t have that.” I asked what they did have. She responded with “it depends on what you want” hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had and it made me embarrassed for Friendly’s. I left and got sbarro next door and was treated like a human. Do not recommend.

Many of the items on the menu were missing/out of stock. The bbq chicken sandwich was nice.

The guy on the grill is RUDE! I asked for mayo on the side for my Fries and to add Mayo to my burger. He stated the burger didn't come that way and he refused to give me Mayo for my fries. It cost me $23 for a single meal and they refused to make it the way I asked?!?!?! They also refused me a refund. You'll be treated better eating off the street! Never again! Someone from friendly contacted me in the comment. I ATTEMPTED to follow up with them... they never called me back... I can see that they made the comment to make readers believe they care. They don't.

Basic grilled cheese, $14 for two oversized pieces of bread smeared with something (not butter I don’t think) to brown and 1 small orange slice of plastic American cheese and some waffle fries… ugh. I ate the parts of the bread that had cheese on them (the cheese did not reach the edges of the bread at all) and threw the rest away. Tasted stale or reheated, which I didn’t even think was an option with a grilled cheese. This was at 10 am, so not then end of the night or anything. It was extremely disappointing as I was excited a friendly’s was in the airport. The employees were nice enough.
