Trafton is a nice little dog park in the middle of the neighborhood, and you can regularly find a couple of people with their dogs out playing there. The main surface is gravel, but there is also a big rocky hill off to the side that the dogs love running around on (there is a side path to the top for the humans). The gravel means you won't have as much of an issue with dust or mud as you might usually expect. People like leaving toys scattered around, so even if you don't bring anything along, there is usually some fun new thing for your dog to play with. Double gates at both ends are quite secure. If you are in the area and want to give your dog some excitement without traveling far, this is a very good option.

Excellent dog rock climbing! Malden did an excellent job with the space they have!

Lots of space and structures for elementary school aged kids. There's a broken post sticking up from the ground near the monkey bars that needs to be fixed and the city has been notified.

Ive been going to this park on and off for 2 years. It's a good dog park with a variety of terrain for your dog. There are rarely other dogs there but a good amount of room for mine to run The only reservation I have is the amount of broken glass at the top of the rocks. It seems like Malden doesn't care to clean this park up.

One of the tennis courts doesn't have a net.

This place has a lot of potential. It is a cozy dog park with pea gravel, well fenced, two double-door entrances to prevent dogs from escaping into the street, and a nice big rock for climbing and playing on. The significant fault is that it is FULL of litter and broken glass. I won't be bringing my dogs back until this place gets cleaned up because there is too much danger of them cutting their paws.

The dog park is very small, offers poor visibility of your dog, and the back (on top of the rock) is riddled with broken beer bottles and who knows what else. Lucky I checked it out before I let my dog climb back there - she could’ve seriously been hurt.

I like Trafton Park. It's close, it is clean, there is a dog run and there are tennis courts and a basketball net in addition to the ball field and the playground. Good for kids, as the playground is enclosed and has a variety of age-appropriate things for kids from 2-12 to play on.

Nice little park that isn't generally too busy. Has some trails and rock formations, but not much else. Would be really nice if there was a water fountain for thirsty dogs.

We absolutely LOVE this park! I believe it is the only local park that has a tire swing and most recently redone as well. It has a large baseball field and separate dog park too.

I'm checking out the parks for the 4th of July celebrations taking place on the next day.

😐 Nice park for the kids... but city needs to enforce or set an area for a dog park...owners like to have their dog run around in the fields and don't clean up after their dogs... They also need to restrict having their dogs in the playground with the kids...I've witness on many occasions owners with...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice park (if a little small) but the adjacent field is available to the public if you really need to run. It's always clean, and the structures are still in great condition. Excellent for smaller children (5 and under). Not often crowded, and usually a very diverse collection of people whenever it...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Found this park on a cool-down walk after my run. There's tennis courts, a play area for the kids, and 2 baseball / soccer fields. I enjoyed cathching a little bit of the boys baseball game taking place on one of the fields.
