👍👍 Nice little beach in a cove. It has a sandy beach and grassy shaded areas with plenty of benches. Next to McConnell Park which is undergoing renovations so no play ground as of June 2022. People often mention beach, Great, water, park, playground, kids, nice, parking, Nice, walk,

Great place to enjoy time by the water. It’s a park with playground and walking path on the shore. Anyone can explore and enjoy including small children and dogs. It’s fairly clean but you find some rubbish or micro plastics scattered along. Be kind and pick up one piece before you leave and it will be better for everyone.

Connected public beaches located in Savin Hill, Dorchester. Primarily underutilized by the public. Locals use the beach for dog walking and sunbathing, and occasionally water sports. No lifeguards, although there used to be. Fantastic views of the Morrissey Boulevard drawbridge and the Rainbow Swash.

Nice relaxing park. Beautiful place to take a walk with nice views and relaxing sounds of the water. They also have a playground and baseball field for the kids to play in. Plenty of parking... Two sides and entrances to the park. They are Off Savin Hill and other on Morrissey Boulevard.

There's bass here sometimes if you know where to fish. There's 24/7 parking so late night fishing is good. Plenty of lighting at the parking spot a the baseball field light is on all night so plenty bright.

Nice waterfront. Lots of seating area. A park nearby is good for children but its also fun to chill by yourself or ride a bike.

Currently under construction the boardwalk is open. The 1 down side is people who use this park leave trash and litter everywhere and the fact that DCR doesn'tprovide trash receptacles doesn't make thing better

The new park is looking really great. I can't wait until it officially opens next spring.

They should put up some exercise poles or something at the beach will be nice since it's a public beach people go there and jog and get exercise too

For my first time here I actually enjoyed it I was shocked to see something like this in this neighborhood definitely will be coming back

The beach itself is kind of gross. But that might be environment instead of maintenance - I'm not sure how well they'd be able to clean the sand. The boardwalk and bathroom definitely need some attention and repair. I know they're redoing the adjacent park. Maybe the beach is up next for the improvement it needs?

When visiting my nephew, we walked here every day. He played in the sand and water. Great for a toddler. It's not what I'd call a beach. The water is nasty at certain times. There's trash scattered about.

If you know, you know. Neighborhood beach. The cabanas are OK. Bottle service is overpriced but the club house ceveche is to die for and the house dj really keeps the vibe going.

I go there to relax!! I love beaches, pounds, rivers, forest, oceans, nature's etc... You see those white Lil poll on the picture?! I used to stand on top of it when I was a teen n do back flip n front flip when I got better.. I can still do it but not as much I used too..

Good little secluded and usually empty beach. Sand can be a little gravely, water can be a little mushy with seaweed but good for getting some sun. Bathrooms and snack shack have been closed for a bit.

We’ll um I was cool with the place until me and my puppy walked down to the water and the smell was AWFUL. Other then that it was okay, not great but okay.

Well, this beach is a truly great neighborhood beach. If you have kids, theres parking ,play ground and shaded areas. It was good enough for my mom , me , my kids and grandkids for close cool day at the beach

Terrifically redone Playground and Park. The beach itself isn't worth traveling for when Carson and Tenean are within walking distance, but the newly remade playground and turf fields are top notch.

  • 5/5 Andrea R. 8 months ago on Google
Took a strool there yesterday. Water was warm but dirty other than that cool place to chill out

Half a pizza in the box with large plastic drink containers on a bench; the people went to the beach with food , had their fill and just walked away; depressing to know people like this exist. Trash and dog waste everywhere.

One of the most relaxing places to walk in

Beach in a residential area. Park for kids. Great area for a stroll, picnic, bike riding, rollerblading Basketball court or tennis court (not sure which but its one or the other). Sit under a tree for reading, lay out and relax.

Small park. Good for young children.

  • 5/5 MattAndKaren K. 3 years ago on Google
A hidden gem. Always plenty of space on the beach, although if you're there at high tide, the beach will almost disappear. When you go in the water you may feel small fish nibbling on your legs, but it doesn't hurt.
