Lucca Restaurant & Bar

Restaurant

🫤 Usually not picky, but the food is really below average. Rigatoni tasted nothing and the sauce was so watery, with no signs of meat. Very disappointing. Arancini and calamari were okay, not too salty but it’s easy to not mess up fried food. Would not recommend for the food, even for a quick bite. People often mention good, restaurant,

I usually don’t do reviews; but as a hungry traveler, I was expecting much better. Prices are higher than on the menu, it costs 4$ more for a salad. The meatball sub had minimal sauce. Only bagged chips come with the meal. Bar did not have several of the ingredients for my Bloody Mary (it was basically tequila l and tomato sauce). On a positive note, the early 2000’s throwback music was nice.

Got an arugula salad, the lettuce was wilted throughout, couldn’t eat it. Tables smelt like stale beer. Very disappointing.

Service was definitely the weak part of this restaurant. They're not good at paying attention and responding quickly. I got the omelette breakfast and it was absolutely delicious.

This place was okay, certainly qualifies as decent airport food but the shop in North End is likely much better. I ordered the Rigatoni which was only alright but came out quickly with plenty of time to catch my flight.

I'm shocked these reviews are so low. My husband and I visited this place on Tuesday. We wanted the sandwich shop, but it was packed. I'm SO GLAD it was. Our waitress, Ashley, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, charismatic, and VERY good at her job. We had the meatballs as an appetizer, delicious, and each of us had a meal. His medium rare burger and sweet potato fries were exceptional. I LOVED my flat bread pizza. It had a great HEAT from the peppers and the Italian sausage was fantastic. I will DEFINITELY make this my 'go to' at Logan.

I had the pappardelle bolognese, which came in stingy, sad, small amount considering the almost $30 entree cost. Pretty bland too, so they’re also stingy with the salt and flavor. I left hungry.

Two visits, two good meals. First time was pasta with wild boar - a dish you see in Tuscany but not in America. A good, meaty sauce for pasta. The second time was last Monday when I got their lamb burger which came with arugula, feta cheese, and pickled onions. It was definitely a great burger and the pickled onions really set the whole dish off. Nice surprise as airport restaurants usually go.

Very nice staff. Meatballs were good enough if you remember it’s airport food. Deviled eggs were so overcooked they were gross. The yolk filling was nice but the whites were so over cooked it was like chewing on a bouncy super ball. Also the prices on the menu outside the restaurant are lower than the prices on the menu you get inside. A bit bait and switch-y

Great service at the bar. All we had were a few drinks and deviled eggs, but would stop in if traveling through Boston Airport.

Food was fine, though I didn't get anything terribly difficult to make. The service was INCREDIBLY lacking. First, there is no one at the host desk and no sign telling you to see yourself. I was in a line of three people and two bartenders looked over at us at least twice each and said NOTHING. Not even a little shout of, "It's okay to seat yourself." Then, the waitstaff are horribly inattentive. I saw 5 to 7 of the waitstaff huddled in the back chitchatting and on their phones and no one monitoring the customers. Not a good representation of the Lucca brand. If I had gone to this restaurant first, I would not be patronizing the real restaurant in Boston.

Driest “medium” burger I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere just doesn’t match what you think it looks like from the outside. For an airport restaurant/bar Lucca’s is sadly underwhelming. Do yourself a favor and walk around the United and AA gates to the food court for something better.

The One World Burger was actually pretty good despite all of the negative reviews for the restaurant. The burger was very juicy and tender, cooked medium rare. The house made chips were good as well. My waitress was very friendly and ensured I was set up with everything I needed. I definitely would come back again.

Located on Terminal B right in front gate B15. I came here for breakfast, usually i’m not a fan of breakfast places at airports as I feel like it always tastes subpar and overpriced. I had coffee which was wonderful. Then I ordered the omelette at BOS without the mushrooms and it was amazing. Good amount of food with potatoes and toast. Added butted and siracha. Food was very tasty and I would absolutely come here again. The highlight of the entire stay was the bartender whose name was Stacy, she was very attentive and polite and took care of me right away. She was working very hard as she managed the bar. Thank you Stacy and staff for making my 2 hour delay much better.

Food was unseasoned bland overpriced gas station food. Service is the worst service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Waiter visited the table only 4 times in an hour. Once to take our orders. Once to bring us our drinks (never got us refills). Once to bring us food. Once to bring us the check. We had to hand her the card immediately because we didn’t expect her to be back for another twenty minutes and this is a freaking airport, of course we can’t be sitting around waiting, everyone here has flights to catch. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. We should have gone and gotten free meals with my priority pass down the hall. Edit: completely forgot to mention that they did the bare minimum on top of never visiting. We sat at the table for ten minutes before they came over, we had to get up to go get sugar for coffee from another table, she dropped off the food and then left without giving us silverware, meaning once again we had to go get it from another table. Absolutely terrible service.

Ordered a beer and noticed some black things resting at the bottom of my glass, in my second one I asked the bar tender to get me a cleaner glass and you can see how my second "cleaner" glass looks like! Stained from inside!
