We stopped at this place to try out the grilled cheese because it was recommended. It's located in a busy street and parking is quite hard. The atmosphere was great, perfect for a grilled cheese dine in. Lot of options in the menu and we ordered grilled cheese with BBQ and three cheese, also with pickles. The bread was crunchy and the cheese taste was fantastic. With pickles the taste was amazing. The customer service was great. while our order was being prepared, we played pinball and it was quite fun. I liked everything but I expected something more like different bread choices and more flavors. Definitely a great place to try and have a bite of the grilled cheese 🧀🧀👍👍👍

We were really craving typical grill cheese sandwich, so we went to this place because I know they have lactose free cheese. I ordered green monster which was bacon with avocado and blended cheese along with roasted tomatoes soup which it was a combo I picked it. My friend got hamburgers with truffles fries which it was really delicious. I loved the customer services, staffs was very friendly and explained all the questions we had. We didn't have to wait for that long for our food and they brought all our food out together.

The food here is great. The classic three cheese grilled cheese has bread that is toasted just right and has a perfect blend of cheeses. The burgers here are good as well.

The bacon cheeseburger was solid in taste but not hearty enough. I enjoyed their sauce on the burger though and the bread was also well cooked with a nice crunch. The service was quick too which was nice. I'd come back if I'm feeling in the mood for another burger.

Ordered from here for the first time last night. I don't eat pork for religious reasons but found my grilled cheese Allston loaded with bacon. I literally feel terrible. I also ordered chipotle Mayo and received none. Heard great things but that shop has people who don't pay attention and who were dismissive in their attitude when I even picked up my order. Store is closed now so couldn't return immediately but I doubt I'll ever eat there again.

Would love to give this place a better review because the first time I went, it was incredible. The second time? the chicken sandwich was completely raw on the inside, it was so disgusting.

A large variety of excellent grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers makes Roxy's a must-stop destination. I had the grilled cheese melt with pickles and highly recommend. The bread was crispy but not too hard, The cheese was perfectly melted, and the pickles add a crunch that is unexpectedly delightful. I will be returning! Four stars only because they forgot my fries, but I'm sure they were busy.

Customers are socially distanced and you receive a text or email when your order is ready for pickup. I assume they are taking only online orders to stop customers from coming in contact with many other customers. If you have questions they do allow you to come inside to ask but there is no one there to take the orders so you are asking grill members. Again this is because they are not taking in person orders, you either call in or order online. Some of the options online aren't always in stock so they may ask you for substitutions as well as some items not being on the online menu but being on the in person menu. Just ask if you are curious all of the staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Food is crispy and fresh, I've never had a problem with the food from here. It's always delicious!

Usually great, but they just gave me a burger that was nearly raw (the center was noticeably cooler than the rest of the meat, soft to the point of falling apart, etc. It wasn’t just a light cook, it was very close to raw) They also closed before I could get a refund or replacement, because their hours weren’t updated for apple :(

This grilled cheese really hit the spot. It's so gooey and delicious. Get it with the tomato soup and omg, bliss! I got the three cheese melt with caramelized onion and my friend just got the three cheese melt. We both inhaled ours; it was just that good. The service is great too, two really nice staff!

Outstanding I hired the food truck for a company lunch. Every step of the way was fast and friendly, from the request for quote, to my last minute add ons, to showing up slightly early to set up. The guys served 90 people fast and everyone was thrilled with their meal. The price was very reasonable and they even gave me a tray of leftovers which were gobbled up by those who came fast. We are definitely going to hire them again in the near near future. This was a big hit

The buffalo tofu vegan grilled cheese is super flavorful and hearty. I usually don't love paying for grilled cheese sandwiches, but this was worth the money (~$9). It is really messy though, so be prepared. Was maybe a 10 minute wait because of takeout orders ahead of me, so order ahead if you want to pick up quickly. Would definitely come back to try some of their other vegan grilled cheeses.

Slightly greasy, very filling, and quite tasty. The fries always seem to be cooked a bit too much and are a bit smaller than preference, but still costed on truffle - rosemary goodness. Edit: Rating is still the same, just expanded to include a note on table cleanliness - tables are almost always sticky. Otherwise the atmosphere of the place is pretty laid back.

I’m sad to be writing this because I really love Roxy’s food truck & have been a few times. Unfortunately my experience in store was so different :( I walked in & no one bothered to acknowledge me. Then when I was ready to order one of the people at the counter, without looking up said “are you gonna get that” to her coworker, while the coworker said “there so many better things I could be doing right now” Fries were great! They did forget my diet coke that I paid for, I just didn’t want to go back in because that experience turned me off from going there. Just less than great customer service. & I totally get it I’ve worked in customer service most of my life, sometimes it’s just a bad day. But I was just super unhappy with my experience & definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

Customer service was amazing!!! There was a young kid with tattoos who really made me and my wife feel like family. Polite, well mannered, really made our experience 1 of a kind!! My only complaint would be the fries were kinda bland but that’s it. The grilled cheese was great. 10/10 highly recommend

This was our second year working with Roxy's for our two-day nonprofit community event, and once again, they did an absolutely fabulous job! Our staff and guests shared that the food was so delicious, and that they felt the Roxy's team on the truck was super friendly and patient. Roxy's was great at communicating with our staff, before, during, and after the event to make sure all our needs were met. They were also incredibly thoughtful and wanted to make sure all our guests had an enjoyable experience. We had families with mostly younger children attend, so on the first day of the event, they noticed it was hard for parents to juggle holding food, managing kids, and all their other belongings. On the second day, they brought plenty of trays to make things easier for parents. We absolutely recommend having Roxy's at your event or trying their food if you are in Boston!

Roxy's did a food truck at my daughter's graduation party -- they were fantastic and so well organized before, during and after the event. Food was great -- while they are known for their grilled cheeses, do not skip the truffle tater tots. Beyond delicious! The folks who worked the truck were great, easy going, helped pack up the leftovers for us. Made it possible for the hosts to actually enjoy the party! If you are considering them for a graduation party, call in February or March - they book up quickly and for good reason.

Invariably delicious food served and great people working here. They really take care of their customers. One super-perfect crispy bite of their sourdough 3 cheese grilled cheese and you'll never NOT feel the nostalgic wish to return to Roxy's to try all the rest of the menu. The fried chicken sandwich is bomb. French fries are very upscale-rustic tasting 🤔 with flavor notes of garlic, rosemary and truffle oil. Cheers 🍻 come here hungry and leave happy: unabashed 5-stars 100% earned.

Do yourself a favor and just go to McDonald’s or Burger King... Awful. Food was not fresh, the “freshly squeezed lemonade” is just regular bottled they charge you almost $4 for. AC was turned off so it was 89 degrees inside, the poor workers were sweating, flies everywhere because they had to keep the door open to try to get some air. All the seating except the front bar table in the window is gone, so don’t expect any ambiance as the dining area has been turned into a storage area. I’m a business owner and I would be so ASHAMED to run an establishment like this.

I'd been wanting to check this place out for a while -- so worth it! Great grilled cheese and truffle fries with rosemary! About $12 for a combo (plus a canned seltzer -- appreciate having non-soda options). Staff were friendly and helpful, quick service. No dine in at this time.

Awesome grilled cheeses! Friendly service even close to closing time, got the grilled cheese with honey hot sauce and bacon. Perfect size and tasted the best ever! The tomato soup is tomato soup.

Visiting all the way from Virginia and I must say I was not disappointed! I ordered the green Muenster grill cheese and the truffle fries. Best grilled cheese that I have ever had and the guacamole was so creamy. I was disappointed that the poutine was sold out but I hope to come again before I leave and they might have it. Amazing lunch and fair prices! Definitely recommend.

What a delight to finally eat roxys. After living in Boston for 10 years, I decided it was time. I googled best Chicken Sando in Boston and most places pointed to Roxys. I gotta say, that was the best chicken sando I’ve had in a long time. It was crafted to perfection. Everything was just amazing.

Roxy's is the best! You really can't go wrong. Grilled cheeses, burgers, fries, and the tomato soup are all delicious. Lots of fun vegetarian/vegan options too. Super friendly staff as well!
