This was our second visit and certainly won't be the last! We booked for the 'snowdrop walk' that cost £12 for four of us, which isn't bad at all. It helped that the weather was amazing that day, but the grounds were stunning. So many different areas to explore and beautiful flowers to see. Sadly we didn't have time to go to the tearoom (which looks great, set in the old stables) but we checked out the gift shop. The toilets are clean and well kept too. All in all, a great afternoon out. Hoping to go back soon when the house is open.

This was our second visit to Boughton House and we loved every second of it. Their snowdrop weekend was brilliant - the snowdrops amongst other flowers looked beautiful, and the grounds are so well kept. We could easily have spent hours walking around as the grounds are VAST! The House itself wasn't open but if it's anything like the grounds, then I'm sure it's beautifully kept as well. There is a lovely gift shop on-site with very friendly staff, a reasonably priced tearoom, clean toilets and plenty of free parking on-site as well. We can't wait for our return visit!

We visited this afternoon for a walk around the gardens with our 2 small children. Great arrival procedure. So much space to explore, the children loved it. Beautiful surroundings. Clean toilet facilities. The tea shop is closed but you can get drinks and snacks, including delicious ice cream, from the gift shop. We can't wait for the house to open again in the future so we can wander around there too. A good value place to visit with lots of parking.

A real gem of a place. I've lived in this part of Northamptonshire all my life, knew it was there...but never visited. The gardens are extensive and beautiful. We had a picnic under an ancient-looking tree with views of the house and lake. A special day out. We'll definitely visit again and I'd highly recommend.

If you are historic house members a free flow visit is free check website for openingbhours as very limited. volunteers friendly and knowledgeable. No photos allowed in the building. There is a great selection of van dyke drawings on site , also the walled garden and grounds are wonderful. The cafe has home made cakes and is well priced. There is a shop, bookshop and toilets on site. Recommended

Beautiful gardens, lovely tea shop. 4 stars only because I can't comment on house yet. Nice chilled out wander round.

Sadly the sun wasn't out so no reflection in the pool, however, the tour was fantastic, as was the free flow tour round the downstairs. So many things which you wouldn't see anywhere else

Charming house and lovely gardens. Geddington nearby, with its surviving Eleanor Cross, is also worth seeing.

Beautiful house and gardens. We recommend a visit. The only thing missing were clear exit signs. We had an impromptu tour of the farms 😊

Beautiful house, gardens were amazing. Tour guides knew their stuff. Not to many people on the tour, so we could hear everything. Just enough time between tours, to fit in a bit of lunch, sandwiches were good. Toilets were the nicest, cleanest toilets I have every used in a public place. Wear your walking boots if you plan on seeing everything. Well worth the money.

Interesting place with a lovely architecture. Unfortunately, at this time, there is a festival going on the Mansions ground, and most of the garden is closed for the visitors. There is no information on the website about this when buying the tickets, so just in case, better ask them prior to buying the tickets if there is anything going on the territory. Attached is a photo of the map, and with the marker pen, i draw the zone that is not available to the rest of the public. This was actually a little bit disappointing, to be honest. In my opinion, they should have closed for the rest of the public if they have some events booked in.

Inside house was lovely, not too large to be drag on, but enough things inside to be entertaining. Cafe was nice, and gardens are well maintained
