Lovely quaint historical location. Gardens are superb, what hard work has been put into the gardening. Truly stunning. The staff team are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Also this place is clearly very well-maintained.. very picturesque. Highly recommended.

Disappointed that we could not tour the Castle despite the website showing it was open to public. Not a great experience at all. Suggest remove the Castle off the internet sites as a public touring place. Not good at all so no stars from me! Even the one is a default.

Why is this place still in the attractions to visit if you can't go inside because it's now a private estate!!!! You are misleading people. You're just wasting your time unnecessarily traveling there. Who cares if only the tea room is open there? Nobody! We would like to visit this place and not drink tea!!

The gardens are always a joy to visit. Lots to do for adults, children and pets alike. Good food, great playground and enjoyable walks not to mention the Meerkats and the marmots.

Wonderfull but unfortunetly we can't visit castle.

Look for on googlemaps "castle ashby gardens" that is the car park you use and start your visit. Beautiful place quiet, plenty of walking, the menagerie is small but is nice to see, nice tea area to have a coffee and relax.

A really relaxing garden. Not many flower beds but they do have a lovely orangery and meerkats!

Its was a super place to visit. The outdoor experience was amazing but the castle is presently closed for public
