I came with my husband to get a refill because he forgot his medication at home in Boston. They made him wait for more than one hour because for them it was not an emergency. They were planning to leave him until the end of the shift because his case was not urgent as other patients. Well we left and now he is having chest pain. If it is a heart attack this memorial hospital…..,

Went to APD for 2nd opinion on knee replacement surgery. Was very frustrated with my experience at DHMC. My knee has declined rapidly over the past 6 months and I have severe pain daily. Saw Dr. Houde and was treated warmly, listened to me and after reviewing my data, told me I could move forward with surgery. He was kind and knowledgeable. I felt like I was part of the decision making process and that it was a team effort. I am very encouraged by the entire team and am so glad I looked for a 2nd opinion. Thank you all at APD for the support and making me feel like a person and not just a number.

I visited the Emergency Room at APD as a referral from my PCP as I could not see her directly due to a high fever. I waited no longer then 15 seconds after checking in to be triaged. All staff were extremely friendly and informative. My nurse was Bridgett and doctor was Dr. Lynch - both amazing. Though I do not have many experiences with ERs, this was the best by far! Quick diagnosis, fast treatment, and wonderful people.

Very cordial and congenial folks work here at APD Memorial. I am new to the area but they have made me feel at home in my few visits. Like DHMC, they are tech savvy and maintain and immaculate facility. I had my initial exam and X ray done quickly in the same ER room because their machine is mobile and so was the computer the doctor used to show me the results. I'll be back, but hopefully not too soon.

I just had a total hip replacement at APD Hospital. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Ivan Tomek MD is wonderful. Patient, supportive, very well trained and experienced. I felt very confident in his care. The entire nursing/medical staff were wonderful…sensitive, attentive, experienced, patient. 5 stars Diane Leardi

I had vascular surgery there yesterday and from the moment I walked in I was put at ease. The staff were kind and professional. I did not have a long wait and everything was as smooth as surgery can be.

Fiance had vascular surgery from the minute we walked into APD we felt welcomed and safe. Any person we had the pleasure of interacting with was very nice, professional and friendly!

Exceptional staff: attentive, kind, and knowledgeable,. Top-notch care in a truly wonderful facility. Food is sourced from local farms and is fabulous! I would highly recommend APD.

I was treated UNprofessionally by the team. It is obvious from the previous reviews so I was not surprised. By the way they do not accept new patients. After several calls back and forth nothing was resolved.

Came to the ER here with burns on my hand and was in a lot of pain. The doctor was kind and I liked her attention, softness, and recommendations. The nurse was unable to get my IV in and blamed it on me “for not sitting still”, yet another nurse was unable to get it in either and said it was because my veins were collapsing, which is not my fault. I didn’t appreciate the nurses rude attitude when it was clear I was in a lot of pain.

This place is terrible. I went there a few months ago because I was in so much pain that I could barely do anything. Aftwr we checked on, they made me wait for over an hour before any of the nurses came over. They put me behind a curtain next to the desk/reception area, and stood there doing nothing, while talking about sports. I waited for over an hour before they told me that there was nothing that they could do except for give me meds that didn't help at all.

The handling for prescriptions and prior authorization is absurd. When you call you have to leave multiple messages. I have been trying to get my prescription since the 6th of Jan. Due to the shortage of the medication, government hoops and the poor service from the medical staff. I will be looking for a private practice to change to.

Only have good things to say about this place. Every time I come I feel welcomed. The midwifes are so kind and understanding. They make me feel comfortable. Wouldn’t go to any other place

I went to the ER for an issue and it was a false alarm, but the check in and other staff was great and talked to me like a human being.

I went into the ER with a suspected kidney stone. Having had a history of them, I'm used to waiting for HOURS in the waiting area but that didn't happen here. I was through the waiting area before I could even take a seat. I was checked into a bed and and quickly attended to. My nurse was really nice and the doctor really seemed to be paying attention as I spoke. All ERs need to copy this system.
