The real deal. Acai bowl was so good. I bought frozen cheesy bread too. Makes me want to learn Portuguese!

Nice pastelitos! The girl at the cash register spoke good English, Spanish and Portuguese which is helpful. She was also very helpful and patient taking the time to explain to me what things where and the prices. I got a cavasa coconut pudding bread , flan, and a chocolate hazelnut cake bomb. I also had beef and cheese and onion pastelitos which were so good right out the fryer. Only thing was that it was kind of expensive for what I got. Pastelitos where 7$ each, casava coconut bread 3$, flan 4$, chocolate bomb 3.50$, 2L soda 5$. I recommend the pastelitos for sure!

I must say, the food is absolutely amazing. If you're longing for a taste of Brazil, this is the spot to be. Their pastel and caldo de cana are simply outstanding, capturing the authentic flavors that will transport you back to Brazil. However, I must mention that the space is a bit on the small side. While the delicious food more than makes up for it, it's worth noting that seating can be limited, especially during busy hours. Nevertheless, the cozy atmosphere adds to the charm of the place, creating an intimate dining experience. Overall, if you're craving mouthwatering Brazilian delicacies, this place is a must-visit. Prepare to indulge in flavors that will whisk you away to Brazil, even if the space is a tad compact. Don't let that deter you from enjoying the incredible culinary delights that await.

They make nice food. We enjoyed our pastel Vitoria and bread, beef, lettuce, tomato, and onion sandwich.

Very easy to access via public transit (Davis Sq to Sullivan Sq bus), this tucked away pastelaria takes you south if the equator to true Brazilian delights. They offer a massive selection of pastéis, from chicken and cheese to guava and cheese. The coxinha was a bit too large and the chicken in the middle dried out a bit. Overall, the chicken seemed a bit dry but was definitely redeemed by the crispy, flaky shell of the pastéis itself (easy to air fry!). I definitely will be returning, with so many more things to try

I had a small chicken pie that couldn't eat half of it, because it was very salty. At the end of the day I end up having diarrhea and throwing up my guts out through the night. Nasty Never will be back neither recommend.

I don’t even like Brazilian food yet I found the food here to be so good. I had heard about this place and decided to try it and I’m glad I did. Quick service and good portions. This is how Brazilian food should be.

So this place seems pretty authentic for Brazilian food. Most of the people there were speaking Portuguese. Besides the food they have a little grocery store in the back with Brazilian sweets, snacks and medication(?). They also had some deserts that seems typical to Brazil. The menu did not have prices until we waited in lime for like 10 mins and then they gave us a brochure with the prices and the English translation as well. We ordered three sandwiches and it took about 20mins for them to make them. Seemed a big disorganized but it was part of the vibe (hole in the wall). The chicken and beef in the sandwiches were very thin and I would have liked double the amount of meat. Flavors were decent and I wouldn't mind eating there again to just try all the unique foods. Lots of butter and fried foods. Cholesterol and saturated fats for miles. But your soul will love it most likely. It's an experience for someone who is not Brazilian. The place was busy on a weekday night, so that means something.

Absolutely the best Brazilian eatery/bakery around. As a Brazilian myself, it’s sometimes difficult to find food that’s authentic, and it sounds weird to say this but the best pastel I’ve ever had in my life was here. Come for their pastels and for Charles, the owner. You’ll love it here!

store closed 30 minutes earlier (4:30 pm) than the time posted on the glass at the main entrance. IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME, if you're going to close 30 minutes earlier, let them know on the itinerary that the store is open until 5 but 30 minutes earlier they won't accept any more customers, horrible!

This pastelaria reminded me of home. It was a mix of a small grocery store serving local Brazilian treats and a typical “padaria”. I enjoyed a coxinha with catupiry (traditional teardrop-shaped fried snack filled with shredded chicken and creamy catupiry cheese) and pasteis de palmito and cheese with my family. The fillings were GENEROUS and the pasteis were all made on the spot, FRESH. While there was a considerable wait time, it was well worth it. If you’re thinking about eating in, this pastelaria is a cozier place with eight tables that can seat two people each. Parking around here can be a bit tricky. There are 3 parking spots right in front of the pastelaria. If they happen to be filled, I suggest going to the Stop & Shop parking lot about a block away.

I normally love their food however there must have been a drop in quality control. I bought 3 mousse de Maracujá this morning as a gifts for my friends only to find out when I arrived that there was mold in them. Check what you buy before you leave. It’s difficult to tell but I know it’s moldy because the spots of blue are furry in comparison to the rest of the cream
