The server Lisa was wonderful but The food was subpar and bland, but we didn't want to waste food or money so we continued to eat it. My girlfriend and I lost appetite especially after a child threw up behind us. And to add on to that there was a random dog that was running around the restaurant hounding people for their food... he came around twice. This has to be the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.

I had a terrible experience. The food was nasty and raw. There was a dog trying to steal my food. And there was people throwing up. Wouldn’t go again😖. I really appreciate the waitress Lisa, very welcoming and nice person. Although it seemed like she was taking care of too many tables at the same time because there was just her and someone else.

Came here for a quick meal before going to The airport. The 99 is a classic New England restaurant chain known for having deep ties with the communities they operate in. Very nice waitress who expedited our order so we wouldn't be late to the airport. The French onion soup was lacking, it seems as if the piece of bread they use is too big and it absorbed all of the broth. The flavor was slightly too much wine and not enough beefy broth. Lots of onions which Is fine. The wings and skins sampler is by far the best appetizer on the menu. Nice crispy cheesy potatoes and definitely order the chicken with gold fever sauce. Probably my favorite sauce of all time. Everyone had satisfactory meals, my dad commented that his all star burger was a much bigger portion than he used to get. From past experience, avoid steaks at the 99. The seafood / chicken / ground beef / turkey are great but I've always found the steak lacking.

The revere location is not as good as other places. Starts when you walk in the greeter seemed to be bothered that I asked for plastic ware vs the silverware. When I said thank you for showing us to our seat, no response, no kindness. The waitress Rosa seemed like she was over worked, even tho there was only a couple customers. She wasn’t so attentive, kinda slow. I also took a sip of the strawberry lemonade , was not sweet, and there was no flavor as it was completely watered down, I asked her if it could be replaced with a mango ice tea? She said yes however I was charged for BOTH drinks, that was not ok. And to top it off the best drink I had was the cup of water with no ice!! Food was good. Next time I go it will not be to the revere location, Salem is waaaayyyyy better.

We had popcorn to start instead of bread which was a nice change. Guess bone-in wings are not being sent because all every restaurant had was boneless wings. I paid for Buffalo chicken sandwich. Sauce was Buffalo but not the meat. Great service.

Decided to try this place for the first time on Friday night around 8:30. Waited 15 minutes for a table which is normal for a weekend. We sat down at 8:45 with our menus and was not greeted by a server until 9:00pm. We were thinking about leaving at that point, but I wanted to give them a chance. The server was Lisa, a very friendly lady, but I could see they had her at roughly 5 tables. We ordered beverages and the meals at the same time. Lisa brought out our beverages and my soup fairly quickly. It was 9:30 and we still did not have our meals. Lisa kept coming by saying it was coming. I eventually walked to Lisa and asked her to place the meals in to go boxes because our son fell asleep by this time. Before Lisa could do this, the manager and a runner brought our meals out and I asked for to go boxes. Instead of the manager making it right or even saying a words to us, he walked away. I still tipped Lisa because it was not her fault of course, but this restaurant does not operate well. We ended up paying $60 for mediocre meals that needed to be warmed up when we got home. Also, what's with popcorn as a complimentary starter? Needless to say, I do realize it was Friday but go to any Texas Roadhouse on a Friday evening and the customer service and speed is superb. We will not return to 99 restaurants. I'm not sure how it has been in business as long as it has. To each his own.

I am so disappointed. I ordered delivery and the country fried chicken was thin, burnt, and hard. Don't want to be negative or anything because this is the 1st time this happened to me. I'm just disappointed. I just think the delivery orders should be inspected before it's sent to the customer. I get delivery from here at least 1 or 2 times a week.

Food was ok, had the Buffalo Mac. I love hot but this was torturous trying to get through. Tried the seafood chowder, pretty decent. Ended up getting sick all night…Husband ordered baked stuffed shrimp, it looked really unappetizing. The stuffing was doughy the shrimp looked boiled, the fries were cold, the server did switch it out with no problem, which was nice. He got the pork Mac, he enjoyed it. The service was non existent, couldn’t even get our waters refilled until well into our meal. They were not busy. It felt like a run down Applebees. Probably wouldn’t try it again.

I come here all the time, seriously, that's my favorite place to go for a beer and dinner. The people are so nice and polite. The beer is perfect, you want ice cold beer? You will have it! The food is so good, I love it! The place is really cool, you can sit down at the bar or you can get a table, it doesn't matter where you sit down, you'll have a great time, I'm sure!

99 Restaurant is always a solid reliable place. Their food is pretty good and their prices haven't increased terribly as have those of a post pandemic establishment. I personally almost always tend to come to the 99 for their steak tips. Cooked to perfection ( for me that would be medium rare)every time They never disappoint.Their burgers and sandwiches are another great option. There's The drink selection is quite extensive between cocktails and beers. For dessert there are many options but my favorite is a dish giant chocolate chip cookie baked to a gooey point a d serve The wait staff is always very personable and pro active in their service.

First time here after years in the neighborhood, finally had to Try it and they have great food! Coming for the chicken pot pie next time. Jessica at the bar is great, and super helpful!

Overpriced, mediocre food. Chicken was chewy and not cooked throughly, haddock had absolutely no flavor and food was somewhat cold. For dessert I wanted to try the baked cookie with ice cream… what a disappointment that was too, the cookie itself was sooo mushy it didn’t even taste like a cookie, I couldn’t even eat half of it :( Service was good and fast.

I brought my daughter and grandson to an early dinner after we went to Get Air for his birthday. We were told we had a 15 minute wait. After 45 minutes my daughter asked the hostess.....they forgot about us!! It took forever to order and then the food wasn't properly cooked and steak tips were "mooing". I also told the waitress that it was my grandson's birthday so I thought when she came to the table with the cookie and ice cream somebody would sing to him! We sang to him and the waitress just stood there looking at us like she didn't know what to do. They did comp one of the meals, but that was it. We will never go back to the 99 in Revere Mass.

After ubering to Chilis and realizing it was going to be a 45 minute wait. My 10yr old daughter and I decided to head to 99 restaurant. We called in to make sure there was no wait and so when we got there, we were seated right away. We got the potato skins for an appetizer. They were okay...i just felt like something was missing. Aubrie got a bacon burger with fries and i asked our wondeful waitress Elena which she preferred, the balsamic chicken or the chicken parmesan with ziti. She said the latter. I took her word for it. It was amazing. The flavor of the sauce, the chicken, the mozzarella cheese...they still got it! To this day I have never had a better chicken parm after all these years nor can i make it better than 99. I wonder what their secret is? Anyway...go there...try it. We had desserts. She had the warm cookie Sunday, couldn't finish it and i had the midnight cake...couldn't stand the cookies that came with it. To me its either or. I didn't finish mine either...shrugs. Overall...a great mommy daughter date and long overdue. Elena was an amazing server. It was very clean and service was really fast for a Friday evening.

Went last night. I always get the Vermont Cheddar Burger because whenever I get something else I wish I had ordered the burger. Celtics playoffs were on so it was a nice place to watch the game and eat even though they lost. Our server was great as well.

3.5/5 stars. Parking was a major factor in why we picked eating here (out-of-towners). They have a large lot with plenty of parking. They weren't very busy, but after being seated the waitress didn't show for awhile. Some of the drinks we ordered were watery and lacked flavor, and the beer took a long time to get to the table. The food itself was good, and most aspects of the dinner went well. Getting the bill at the end took forever though (a large table got seated, but still). I don't blame the waitress by any means, it was just an off night. I'd go back to try other parts of the menu some time.

Delicious food in a typical fast food style setting. Moderately clean. Waitress had to be called (didn't check up on us more than the initial order & delivery). But she got better after we interacted nicely with her. Food was very good!

Arrived from Canada to Boston, this restaurant was one of the top 5 to visit. Checked Google it is mentioned will close at 9h30 PM, reached there at 9h25 first door was locked checked the other side was locked too. after staring from the window somebody opened the door, when asking why doors are closed it is not yet 9h30 the answer was: Yeh we close few minutes ahead. The question is why you mentioned 9h30 if you are closing at 9h25 or maybe earlier.

Great value. A bit gritty environment, mostly comfort food. Best deal on a cold beer in the area(Bud Select 16 oz less than $4).

Went in an evening for some drinks but ended up getting an appetizer. Atmosphere was good. The energy of the bartender, Jessica, was not pleasant. Couldn't say she was busy because there was 1 other person at the bar. She was not attentive to us,overall the service was not good at all. I don't think we will be coming back here.

The staff needs a complete overhaul or attitude adjustment. The host didn’t seem very happy to greet anyone. He seemed very bored. There was something completely off with our waitress too-slight attitude and uninterested. The food was ok- you know exactly what you’re getting food wise at this location. Not bad, just subpar. There are better 99 Restaurants, this location is severely lacking.

99 is hit or miss. We Sit at the bar usually... I like the balsamic chicken or chick wrap w fries. The fries are good. Salty, though. My sig other teues new things and almost ALWAYS regrets it. He's tried steak twice & both times were chewy, overcooked, & lined w fat. Just poor cuts of meat. The short ribs were awesome. The chicken pot pie is good- He got a lobster roll last time but the cold one was sold out so he got the hot buttered one- and regretted it. The bartenders are usually fast & friendly... but this one was off the ball- checking her phone a lot & made us wait 25 minutes before even ordering- I couldn't get her attention (and no the bar wasn't full but she had to makes drinks for the whole place- they should staff 2 bartenders or a barback)
