GREAT walking tour of the North End of Boston. We loved how we got to step back in time with stories narrated by Bobby accompanied by Italian food we all have come to love. Bobby was great at telling the stories of his neighborhood as he has seen it changed. Bobby will share how the North End neighborhood has evolved and learn the stories of the small businesses that have come and gone. Boston is an amazing city to visit and this tour is just AMAZING for anyone who loves Italian food and be prepared to love full gluten food. If you love eating and learning to appreciate the history of this community then don't hesitate to take this tour, you will not be hungry!

This is the tour! Bobby is a true local guide. It was like walking around the North End with a relative who knows everyone. "Bobby don't wait in lines!" Definitely come hungry. You learn a personal perspective to the neighborhood, leave well-fed and feeling like you can come back anytime. If you love Italian food, seriously, a must do experience. Highlight of our trip to Boston. Thanks, Bobby!

Bobby was amazing! It was an infusion of tastes, smells (good ones), and local family stories you won't get from a big company. If you are trying to find a good tour, I would highly encourage you to book this one! Plenty to eat with a large dessert at the end, but not to full that your uncomfortable. This was my first experience with a food tour and we've done a couple more on this trip. This was definitely the best one for cost, amount of food and overall. Thanks Bobby for making us feel like locals for the day, we did go back and get the Sfogliatella and the sandwiches to take home in the car all the way back to Kansas City, Missouri! 😅🙈

This is by far the best food tour I've been part of! A group of guys and I were in Boston last week for a friend's bachelor party. We all went in with fairly high expectations on the food, but we had no idea what treat we were in for with the entire experience. Robert is a phenomenal guide and even greater guy. He was fun, informative, funny, and genuine. He's clearly passionate about his lifelong neighborhood, the food scene he's been part of for nearly his whole life, and the history of the city he loves. That passion and care for his customers made the experience top notch. I can't tell you how many locals came up to our group and told us we were with an amazing person and best guide in town, I couldn't recommend this tour enough!

We had so much fun eating our way through the North End of Boston! Bobby took us through the streets of the North End and shared it's history and the stories of some of the families that own many of the shops and restaurants while we tasted all the best! Bobby loves what he's doing and it shows!! We highly recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our time in Boston.

WoW! Bobby is the best! If you want a true local guide that has all the food connections look no further. Thanks to his awesome reviews, I knew he would be the perfect guide for our trip to Boston. We had a quick 3 day work trip. A lot of our employees were new to Boston and the North End. Bobby gave us a mix of history, culture, with stops for savory and sweet foods! Sfogliatella was my favorite one that I had never tried before. He really tailored the tour to our group because we were limited on time. Book Bobby, your group will not be disappointed! -Amelia

Do. This. Tour. It's as advertised. The food is delicious. Do not eat beforehand. He doesn't skip on the portions. You will leave full. You get a variety of great local foods and have opportunities to buy items at the different locations. Robert is a sweetheart and I genuinely enjoyed his stories, recommendations, and humor. We really appreciated his knowledge of the neighborhood and its was really nice to meet some of the other established residents.

Great tour! Come hungry! What's best about the tour is visiting all the original mom and pop shops and learning the history of the area from a local, Bobby! It was by far one of the best tours I went on in Boston! We ate pizza, pasta, and two types of pastries and had a glass of wine. The tour really gives you the feel of the area past and present.

If you enjoy History and want to eat good food along the way, Bobby is your guy!! His tour was amazing. He shared so much History of Boston and showed us the best food spots. He is from the neighborhood and will provide the best information. Every where we went, someone was always saying hello. You definitely will not go hungry on this tour!!

This tour was definitely worth your time and money. Bobby is the only tour guide for this company, as he owns it. He takes you to some of the best places in the north end for some amazing food. I believe we stopped at 8-10 different shops/restaurants during this 3 hour tour and each place has a story behind it. Bobby takes you back in history and tells his life’s story of growing up in the north end where he still lives today. Best thing at the end is that he gives you his top restaurants that he would recommend! I would definitely do this again as you get your money’s worth in food!

If there is one thing you schedule during your stay in Boston, THIS is it. Bobby was an amazing tour guide with a great deal of knowledge. We learned so much about the North End of Boston and all of its history. This tour was full of laughs and amazing food! We did not leave hungry! Bobby knows all of the best spots, as he never has to wait on any lines. He is liked and appreciated by all. You will not be disappointed. We had one of the best cannolis we’ve ever had on this tour and we will definitely be back for more. Thank you, Bobby!

Great tour! I came with a group of fellow graduate students from BU and we enjoyed learning more about the culture and history of the North End while eating delicious food. It's clear that Bobby is a local with lots of great stories and a deep pride for his neighborhood and culture, and was great that he could share that with us. It's also a lot of fun to walk around with someone who has connections in all of the bakeries and restaurants so that we can skip the lines.

I highly recommend this tour for both visitors and locals alike. We live in the Boston area and love coming to the North End often. To experience the neighborhood and the food and to learn its history with Bobby was so interesting as well as fun and just made me love this area even more. I especially loved experiencing the sense of community with the people who live in the North End with Bobby. The food everywhere was amazing and ample so come hungry!!!!

We had an amazing tour of the North End of Boston hosted by Bobby. Last names are great but everyones knows Him so ask for him by name. And come with an appetites cause “Bobby don’t wait on no line” and you’ll have food at every stop.

Magic is real and alive in Boston’s North End. And Bobby is the wizard who can weave that magic into enchanting historical tales. Whether it happens while you’re trailing down cobblestone streets or sinking your teeth into a crisp sfogliatelle, you will fall in love with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Little Italy. It was a delightful (and very filling!) tour that I have not been able to stop recommending.

Totally recommend. The food was excellent. The stories were great and the tour guide, Bobby was wonderful to listen to. It was a lot of fun and well worth every minute. Not one bad thing such a good time! Thank you Bobby we will come back.

This was the most amazing food tour I've ever done! Bobby was the greatest tour guide, he grew up in the North End and knew almost everyone in town. He put a personal touch on the tour with stories from his childhood, all while eating AMAZING local food. He isn't kidding when he says come hungry. We tried such a great variety of foods - sandwiches, pizza, pasta, meats and cheeses, canolis, and more! This tour really was a fabulous experience. I would come back to Boston just to do it again!

This was an amazing experience, perfect for all age groups! One of the people in our group is gluten free and she was easily accommodated at every location. During the tour we ate a variety of authentic Italian food while learning about the history of Boston’s North End through the eyes of a local. Our tour guide, Bobby, was incredible! You can tell he is passionate about the area and had some amazing stories to share! I can’t wait to do it again!

Our tour guide, Bobby, was amazing! He made us feel right at home and made our experience personal; we learned a lot and had some great laughs along the way. Bobby took us on an extensive historical food tour through the North End— the food was incredible! This tour far exceeded all our expectations. I would absolutely recommend spending the day with Bobby. 😊

Bobby’s North End Food Tour was fabulous! I would highly recommend this over any other major food tour in the area. When they say come hungry they aren’t kidding! I ate a small breakfast beforehand and I regretted it. We got full size portions of pizza and sandwiches, plus appetizers and dessert. There are also stops along the way where you can buy additional treats or come back for them later. Super delicious! Bobby is truly a gem and has so much knowledge and heartfelt anecdotes about the area. This tour is special because you are getting more than just the classic history of the city, which you can learn from any tour or on Google. Bobby knows so much about the North End’s history, but so much of it comes from personal experience. He knows all the names of the family owned businesses still left and we passed about 20 different people who said hello to Bobby as we passed, which showed us how adored he is by his community. It was truly an endearing and delicious experience.

Come hungry! When Bobby says he's going to feed you, he feeds you! It was an amazing tour and I would highly recommend it! He showed us some really great places that I never would have found on my own. With a really good amount of really flavorful food at every stop. Again, highly recommend!

This tour was magnificent...definitely the highlight of our family Boston trip!! Felt like we were walking around the North End with a good friend or family member. Bobby's extensive knowledge and incredible passion for the rich Italian heritage of the area made this so enjoyable and one of my favorite travel experiences ever! Already thinking about a return trip to Boston just to spend the whole time in the North End! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had a great time with Bobby! When he said we wouldn't leave his tour hungry, he was not lying. Bobby took us to some really neat places. We really enjoying learning about the generational family businesses that still exist in the North End. Bobby was able to share his experience growing up in the neighborhood and the changes that have taken place. He's local and that made a huge impact for us. Great tour. Bring an empty stomach and good walking shoes.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! By far our favorite tour on our Boston trip. Bobby is a top-notch guide, strolling us through the North End and taking us to some of the best gems of the area. This is a foodie/cultural tour you won't forget. Loved it!! Our tour ended at the Paul Revere statue where we continued on our own to go see Bunker Hill and the USS Constitution. Perfect.

I highly recommend The North End Boston Food Tour. Bobby was a great tour guide and shared interesting facts about the North End since he was born and raised there! We ate lots of delicious food, including Sicilian pizza, Italian sub and a cannoli (from Mike's Pastry, of course!).

  • 5/5 MaryEllen M. 2 years ago on Google
Truly an unforgettable experience! Bobby knows so much about the North End that you truly can’t get from any other guide because of his entire life being spent IN the North End. The food was amazing, definitely ended the tour with a full belly. So many stops and opportunities to purchase from small local businesses as well. Bobby is so accommodating and gives you the perfect amount of information to keep you interested but not overloaded. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

The best food tour in Boston! Bobby was very knowledgeable about the area of the North End, and every single food stop was delicious. Also each place had full size bites unlike many other tours where they are sample size. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this authentic food tour which included bakeries, coffee, pizza, sweets, butchers, wine shops and grocery stores in Little Italy. Personal stories from the native host, best tours of Boston. A must-do while in New England.

Our family had a great time exploring the neighborhood with Bobby. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and took us to a number of great locations. I highly recommend this tour for the foodie or anyone wanting to know more about this part of town.

👍👍 This was one of our favorite things to do in Boston. Took my 12 and 16 year old daughters and they really enjoyed it. The guides are so fun and tell great spooky stories. The destinations were very cool, especially at night. Worth the time and money.

👍 I normally stray away from doing tours, as it makes me feel too much like a tourist. But it was beautiful day out, and the duck truck was sitting right there ready to start the next tour— so I decided to give it a try. And I’m glad I did.
