This is a great day out. There is a great park with plenty of slides, things to climb bounce on, along with large sand pits. This means there is a lot to do for a wide age range of kids. There are some great open spaces as well which allow you to set up for a day long visit. There are also a good number of walks and cycle paths along with adventure golf, archery and seasonal events. The food outlets offer a range of foods at reasonable prices.

Love it here, massive grounds, lovely to walk around, the play area is huge too with abit of everything for kids, sand, climbing, tunnels, slides, zip wire, swings etc. Great cafés with ice creams, gifts and food like a pizza van. Parking £5 for all day and plenty of it. If you fancy a great day out and love walking out in the sun, visit Rufford Abbey. Would be great for family's and couples.

Decent place to visit - nice variety of spaces and things to do. Nice historical site with plenty to learn and take in. Beautiful walk around Rufford Abbey and Lake - flat enough for all old and young. Between the Abbey, Lake and Park it's quite spread out - but all worth a visit. Across the site is a few different like cafe style eateries - prices are high, as you'd expect. Parking is paid parking.

The park is a great day out for the whole family, there is a lot to do and see. We spent the full day here and had a bite to eat, it was not to busy and there was plenty of parking.

Day out with the family including a 4 and 6 year old. Parking was £5 for the car and the whole park was free. Play area for kids was great with 2 sandpits and zip wire. We walked around the lake and had an ice cream at the top of the lake. Only downfall is just the one block of toilets. For £5 parking it’s a fantastic place for a day

A good family day out. Watched a Punch and Judy show in the grounds, which entertained the adults as well as the children. A good cafe and ice cream shop which has lots of choice.
