    I would NOT recommend buying anything from this place. 7 months ago I bought a bag of Kitten food by Purina 3.5lb bag. I got home and as I was going to open it I felt stuff moving inside and hitting the side of the bag.. opened slowly 2 flies flew out, and there were maggots all in the food. Completely traumatizing. Last night I figured I would try it again, as I'm walking to the register and corner of my eye I see a bug crawling on the bag of food... went back to where I got it and banged on a bunch of different bags and 4 more came crawling out. I was appalled and the lady working there acted like it was something she deals with all the time "oh I think it's a beetle". My pets are my life and don't deserve that. I don't care what kind of insect it is.

    Love this pet store! I got my dogs leash from here. Was supposed to be strong enough for up to 110 lb dog. My dog barely weighs 40lbs but had nooo problem snapping the leash. I brought it back and they were happy to replace or exchange it for me. Got new “better brand” leash. 4 days later my dog managed to snap this leash, as well. Without issue. Brought second snapped leash back, again, and exchanged it for the cheaper brand heavier duty version of leash, and also got a rope leash IncAse ge manages to snap leash #3 (rly leash #5 but first two were from Amazon lol). So far he hasn’t snapped this leash, tho he has chewed up the handle a little bit. I have no doubt if or when he does snap this leash, pet supplies of Haverhill will happily let me exchange it for another.

    This location has officially lost my business. Two separate occasions I went to purchase cat food and the bag smelled of pee and had chew marks and holes all throughout the bag. No big deal, I understand so I went with another option. Then today, weeks later I have it a shot again to get more food. Lo and behold another large bag that I need had holes and left a stench on my fingers that smelled like rat pee. I understand they are a pet store, but come the heck on. I was told to “wait for another delivery” like no thanks. BEWARE and check your food, our pets deserve better!!!!!

    Great deal on a new fish tank. I went in there to just by a new cover. I walked out with a new larger tank with rocks and 5 fish!! Definitely will be going back again for all my aquarium needs!!

    This store has become my go to store! They have competitive prices for their products and offer everything from lower end to higher end products. The best part is that everyone who works there has a smile on their face!

    My 180lb St.Bernard was traumatized by a Groomer and since REFUSES to step foot in any salon. I can’t make him lol. Thus, the dog wash station is a lifesaver! The owner is a diamond of a human being. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They always greet my big boy with treats and praise. He gets so excited when we pull up to the store and can’t wait to get in! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you so much for all your help with my big, sweet boy. Thank you for always making it a great experience for him and me lol. Prices here are usually less than PetsDumb or PetsCOstSoMuch. Oh, and sign up for the news letter to get a 20% off coupon! Every cent counts now-adays.

    Sam B. saw me approach the line and opened up another register for me. She was extremely helpful with my coupon. Everyone is very friendly. Also, I trust them when it comes to clipping my dog's nails!

    This has become my favorite local pet store. Impeccably neat and clean with friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile. Online and in store, their prices can't be beat. They also carry a great selection of premium brands like Weruva and Stella and Chewy. Their house brands are also excellent.

    Great experiences there. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Was a little disappointed with the tailgating promotion as they were totally unprepared. Now, in fairness, they said the company didn't send them the giveaways. As a company, they need to do better! Staff is great.

    Price match only if it benefits them apparently. erything is very over priced, not worth shipping there, especially if they don't want to honor the price match program they advertise.

    We bring our dog there frequently to use the self service wash. I get prices go up especially in todays world. The price for a wash card went up 60% which is huge but since then for that extra money we have gotten always changing hours of operation and shampoo that is so watered down I couldn’t even get a lather going on my dog tonight. Like I said raising prices happen but then lower the quality on top of it is unacceptable.

    Very friendly, local pet store atmosphere. I find that there aren't any stifling corporate elements at the store. The Haverhill team creates such a light and relaxed atmosphere and they are always excited to entertain conversations about pets. Pet Supplies Plus is the only store where I can find a large selection of premium cat food in person. This store in general offers far more cat food as opposed to PetCo and PetSmart, where it feels like 75% of their products are for dogs and most of their cat food is out of stock.

    This store is horrible I places an order online using my reward points $15 coupon they couldn't find the order even w my email confirmation and they wouldn't even refund my coupon back, I got the whole corporate will have to look into it excuse!! Terrible customer service!! Per Smart here we come!!

    Sam B was excellent when trimming my dog’s nails. She was very sweet to her and understanding when she got a little scared. It was such a more personable setting. Alanna was wonderful when answering our questions and checking out our items. She even answered questions when I called back, I will definitely be returning.

    I recently started a 100 gallon fish tank and I have been very indecisive on what fish I want. I went to the store with a list of fish I DIDN’T want. The manager Allana helped me pick out the coolest fish while also keeping in mind their temperament and compatibility. They had a lot of experience and knowledge with the fish in store, and gave me suggestions on places I could find fish pet supply plus didn't sell. I have been a costumer of psp for a long time for all my amphibians and reptiles, and now I am an even more loyal customer because of my new fish friends.

    A bit disappointing. Associate was helpful, but when they got the item off the 40.00 shelf and told me it was that much it rang up double the price. They just said oops, must've been in the wrong spot, you still want it?? Happened to be the only reason I was there, so I took it, but I'll probably make the trek to another pet store in the future.

    While I’ve always had a pleasant experience, today was an exceptional visit. I brought my 17 y.o. Havapoo for a self-serve bath. I was fortunate to meet Alana, and we chatted for a bit. Not only did she help set us up, but graciously offered to help me trim a bit around Moxie’s eyes. Not so easy at first, but after post bath happily wandering around the store and going outside, we tried again. There is no question Alana genuinely cared about helping me see the little guy’s eyes, and especially Moxie. She was so patient and gentle with him, and he even got his puppy ears again. There have been a lot of challenges and stress caring for a senior doggie (who is my first). Alana’s kindness meant so much to me;)

    Where did you guys find this short rude manager that has no customer service skills at all and calls her workers her kids. Me and my husband come there every week for our puppy and tonight June 8 2022 at850pm I walked into the store cause I got off work late and my puppy ra n out of treats. First we had an associate ask us if she can help us find anything cause the store will be closing in 1 minutes husband nicely told her no thank you that we know our way around the store. Well I guess we were not moving fast enough so another associate said the same thing . I'm sorry but I am a store manager myself. If the customer was already in the store before closing time you let the customer get done you don't rush them out. The manager obviously is new she needs more training in customer service and needs to understand that she has a job because of customers. What happened to the other crew they were 100 times better than these people.
