Never thought I would find a Indian Lake surrounded by western civilization in USA, Boston... access was easy but needs to go through several crowded establishments. It’s appears that a boat ride and other water sports can be performed in here but I have visited on a rainy day so nothing was there

Parties & Celebrations are first come, first serve, with picnic & barbecue areas, seasonal bathrooms, & seasonal lifeguards on duty. Great Family spot, for fun gatherings with Church folks, friends & loved ones! 😀💓👍 Ice cream trucks stop by once in a while, but i have not seen a food truck. This would be a great little Family Business, anyone?

As a regular person looking to go for a swim I give this lake a 1 star, after the spring time this place becomes absolutely disgusting, there is a high volume of people and they do not care for it at all. But as a fisherman I give this place a 5 star, I’ve been fishing here all my life and there are large species of almost everything pike, carp, crappie, largemouth, smallmouth, horn-pout, and perch.

The city is doing their best to clean the pollution that people have created. I have lived near the lake for over 30 years & some citizens disregard the signs posted on how to keep the lake pure. There used to be a tremendous amount of different wildlife including fish, such as trout, that the government stocked the lake and many kinds of beautiful birds that made the lake their summer habitat. Now, it's too polluted for wildlife to live in & on the lake. There are signs that state that motorboating & jet skis are prohibited on the lake, only sailboats are allowed. The neighborhood storm drains are labeled that it drains into the lake, so people shouldn't put their dog waste into it. Because some pet owners disregard the signs posted on the drains, people cannot swim in the lake due to bacteria from the polluted storm drains. I miss seeing people swimming & sailboats & swans as well as other wildlife in & on the lake. Algae grows from the motorcrafts leaking oil, gas, & exhaust from the engines. Also, the motorcrafts have added to the irritating noise pollution.

Is excellent place to go kayaking now that the jet skis are not flying around in a million different directions

While the fishing here can be really good, it usually only lasts a little while from my shore spot. Had fun catching and releasing 13" perch here till someone cleaned them out and ruined it for the rest of the fall, I hate the takers.

The lake smelled so damn terrible, you found so much trash in lake that my kids kept pulling out then all the damn glass, beer bottles, cigarettes all over the ground and then the damn people smoking all around the kids! Unbelievable! If I can give you zero stars, I would!
