    Quiet, small relaxing spot. A great escape from all the commotion going on at Revere Beach. This past summer, free street parking was available. Minimal rock climbing is possible. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because there is a faint but noticeable "sewage" smell :-(

    Beautiful shore reservation with views of the ocean. I own a place near the beach. This beach is really calm and only attracts locals, which means not many strangers around. Very well respected town and the safery rating is among the highest in the entire country. The proximity 2 Boston is convenient.

    Beautiful and quiet. Nice for a walk on the side walk. You will need water shoes if you want to walk near the water because of the rocks.

    I had an amazing Boston summer experience with my family in Winthrop. We loved the beaches, the sea food but specially, the people. We’ll be back!

    I went here on July 5th, very clean beach, thriving with newborn birds darting around. Beach is on the rocky side, but QUIET.

    Nice small beach, away from the main Winthrop beach. There's only one lifeguard, so, if that's a concern, you'll be better off going to a bigger beach. The water is nice, but it is very ricky, so I recommend water shoes to swim.

    Pretty shoreline with a mostly pebble beach, some sandy spots here and there. Wide sidewalk with showers and water fountains in season, also a restroom and free street parking. Great area for running along the shore, through the neighborhoods, and down and around Deer Island. Good cafes and restaurants in the area, all so close to Boston and Logan Airport. MBTA Blue Line will get you pretty close.

👍 Very pebbly sand and parking is for residents but we loved it. We stumbled across it while plane watching and it's a nice area to see them. There's a walk way and picnic tables too.
