Not that impressive. I would say that it’s like a wanna-be faux Italian style coffee place, aside by its better decor it’s basically another Starbucks. Slow service by staff. Paid a second visit while visiting Boston, just to give this place another chance. First time was two mornings ago, got weird stares from one of the attendants. Maybe I reminded her of someone, but I couldn’t enjoy my coffee. Tonight, I stopped here to unwind before my evening stroll and the I was completely skipped when waiting for my latte. The couple after me got their drinks and coffee and I’m just waiting. I approached a young man and complained, he apologized and I gave me a loyalty with all these stamps on it . Cool guy. I’ll give it to a staff member at my hotel but I ain’t coming. Cashier lady who took my order had no mask 😷 covering her face, yet they have signs and expected all of us customers to wear one unless eating or drinking.

I'm visiting Boston, this is the 2nd Café Nero we've been to and really the care and service has been terrible... they don't have human quality, they're not nice, or attentive. the coffee is sometimes good, other times cold... the cafes are nice but poor service is lousy.

We really enjoyed popping in here for breakfast. We had vanilla latte, chocolate croissant and breakfast sandwich. Very nice and helpful service. We had a nice little table for two. Great people watching spot. Nice vibe.

No seating, student's stay far too long doing homework and hanging ou, not allowing others space to sit down. A lot of them are not even eating or drinking anything. Their cups are empty and food has been eaten and they still take up seats! Why does management allow this? I don't know. You might think they'd want to be fair to all customers, not just students! This is going on constantly! I avoid going in there most of the time because I know I am not going to find a seat and I don't choose to walk around town with a cup of coffee when I really wanted to go in and grab something to eat to go along with it and sit down. They don't do this in other restaurants that I've been to around town, and that's because most likely, those restaurants do not want people to linger after they're done drinking and eating their food. they're out to make money for their business. Why Cafe Nero allows this, I don't know?

One of those feel-good coffee shops. Great spot to grab coffee as you work. There is WiFi and the staff are really nice... It has plenty of seating area . Go check it out and thank me later😀👍

This is the third time they ignored customers and now I am sure it is intentional. The baristas turn their back to the customers and keep laughing and flirting with each other pretending to be busy hoping the customers would just leave. Do you pay these employees to work like that? I waited for 10 minutes and they never turned to ask what I wanted, so I left. Why would anyone waste their life in such a place? They absolutely do this on purpose. I certainly will never come back. Dirty coffee shop, very rude baristas. Tatte, Thinking Cup, Panera Bread are all much better options with polite baristas and nice atmospheres.

It’s not too busy on a Friday. The chairs are really comfy. Overall ambience is cozy. I am not a coffee drinker but they have apple cider which is nice. Btw, the code to the bathroom is 0726. (You’re welcome)

Okayish coffee with great atmosphere. It would be an ideal place to work on a laptop. The tiramisu we ordered was too sweet to our liking, though it was not particularly bad. I would rate it 3.5/5 if it was possible.

Coffee was tasty, but lots of leftover grounds. Service was quick. Banana bread was moist. Limited selection of food and most of it seemed like it was prepackaged and placed out for quick service.

Was pleasantly surprised to find that the coffee is quite good and the vibe also makes it one of the better cafes I've visited so far. It was very busy so finding a table was tough, but that's a good sign that this is a good place to be. Great decor and the wifi was fast. Will definitely return.

At 12:30pm On Monday Sept 4, 2023 I ordered for the first time here on my lunch break at work. I got Turkey & bacon with herbed cheese, swiss & provolone, served on focaccia bread and. A classic soft tea bread made with bananas. And tried the blackberry soda and a Refresher (24oz) Strawberry Dragonfruit! The banana bread was still warm very moist not dry tasting and very good! It had a nice balance of sweet and was delicious! The sandwich was the best the focaccia bread was exceptional the herbal cheese with the turkey and bacon was delightful I enjoyed this sandwich very much! The dragonfruit strawberry drink was very refreshing and quickly finished to complete with my meal! Very surprised!

Cafe Nero reminds me of a Victorian era Cafes where you are surrounded by books and have an incredible intellectual urge to communicate with others and exchange ideas over a nice cup of coffee. Very comfortable and cozy. Coffee is excellent and tastes good. You are paying a bit of a premium compared to a place like Dunkin’ but it’s worth it for the quality and atmosphere.

Good place to work. Good seats + WiFi + Power outlets ✅ There is some music. But, it's not too loud. So, you can work in peace.

I really enjoy coming here in the morning for hot latte in a big white mug, getting comfortable spot at the long tall table, get my notepad out and get a little work done. Feeling grateful.

I really enjoyed this Cafe! The vanilla Latte's were excellent and the mini canolli's were delicious! There were also sandwich and healthy choice options available. The only reason 4 stars is because I didn't care for their regular brewed coffee but overall, it was a great experience!

When it comes to coffee shops, ambience is paramount (not a pun intended or reference for the venue across the street). A few things stood out: A diverse choice of seating, from community table to a comfortable living room environment in front of fireplace. We really liked the casual seating in front of the large picture windows. We also appreciate coffee served in ceramic mugs rather than paper cups. Last thing we noticed and appreciated: Not being prompted for a tip at check out.

I am used to visiting Caffe Nero in London. It is my favourite. My first experience in Boston was terrible. I am surprised with the unfriendliness of the staff. Lousy service spoils the atmosphere. Bad experience. Shame on Caffe Nero.

Great location and a nice interior, but what they are preparing cannot be called Italian coffee.

  • 2/5 Ken L. 1 year ago on Google
Coffee was luke warm at best, the food I ordered didn't even get warmed up... The only reason it's a two star is because of the good location to sit outside. Highly recommend checking out Tatte instead.

Relaxing vibe and interesting lounging decor (though it could use some more cleaning). I tried their seasonal lemon coconut fruitlato (kinda frappe/smoothies texture) and love it! Pastries also looked really good. Will be back to try them!

Cute little coffee shop - service was excellent. Cappuccino was good - I prefer the milk to be a little creamier. Chocolate croissant was really good. Lots of seating.

It took awhile to get my order. The staff didn't seem to be experienced enough to make my order. They had to get help from the manager. Nice atmosphere though

I typically don't prefer chain coffee shops, but this location is too beautiful to pass up. It's such an inviting and comfortable environment to do work or catch up with friends

I got good croissants, but the avocado toast wasn’t taste good. I also received an eye rolling from the worker. Overall not impressed.

I love the atmosphere in this place. Also, they are open later than most places. However, if good coffee and sandwiches is what your after, I would recommend that you look elsewhere.

Excellent. I love this place! First time in a cafe Nero. Will definitely not be my last.

Nice place, I enjoyed my cappuccino and chocolate croissant. The atmosphere is great and calm. Everyone friendly and helpful. I saw an employee no wearing mask, that’s the bad point only.

Thought we ordered coffee and ended up with expresso for the first time; was nervous it would be too strong, but it was actually really good. Sat outside at a little table, beautiful weather and comfortable.

Friendly, fast service. We got a chocolate croissant 🥐 so good and had just come out of the oven. Tried the strawberry vanilla frap. Looked and tasted amazing.

Perfect for breakfast. Good sandwiches and coffee. The manager of the place (Nick) is nice. They play nice jazz and classic music. Prices are fair
