    I’ve never experienced a Target that more regularly has so much out of stock. Usually Target is a reliable place to pick up what I need, but look at this store’s deodorant section, for example. This is absolutely pathetic!

    This store should be a complete embarrassment to the Target Corporation. It is a complete insult to the PAYING customers, and total disrespect to the hard working employees that have to continuously endure every single minute of the day with people blatantly stealing from the store, all while your security stands there doing NOTHING! Your store is centrally located in a working class neighborhood, with your overly priced items, and under paid employees. Your solution? Continue raising your prices, and allowing the local residents from South Hampton, and Massachusetts Ave to walk out of your store with bags and carts full of products without ANY repercussions. GET IT TOGETHER!

    This is one of the worst targets. Shopping there is degrading, they lock everything up to a ridiculous extent. I just went to get socks and underwear and for some reason even this is locked up in a disorganized mess. They may be preventing theft but they are also preventing sales! You can’t even see anything. You also have to run around store to even get locked shelves open. They lock up shampoo deodorant soap underwear, socks it’s basically everything. Pick another target or better yet another store.

    I had the worst experience at this target and I will never be going back. The security guard very disrespectful and unprofessional and try to say I was stealing but anyone knows you can’t steal a pair of AirPods because you have pay for them back there before you can even leave. I end up speaking with the manager that to solve the issue but I would never come back here again.

    Visited Target today…husband found a bag of dirty hypodermic needles, alerted the staff…the female staff member complained about how she didn’t need to be called for that and someone like myself could have just picked it up!!! Are you kidding me?! A child could have harmed themselves…please hire staff that care!

    It's interesting that the same public store has a different set of rules depending on where it's located. This location is horrible. Shame on Target for denying it's paying customers bathroom access for any reason. If security is an issue, they should invest in a better loss prevention plan not shut down the bathrooms. The "security" person was a young very pregnant woman who looked too tired to even move. Not saying pregnant women can't work, but she was leaning over the counter and scratching/rubbing her belly when I approached her. Many staff members were pretty rude (especially around the bathroom issue). It's understandable that the may be fustated with so many people asking about it, but think about how I feel having spent over an hour and $100 at a place that doesn't respect it's guests enough to provide proper facilities. I do not plan on returning to this location and don't recommend anyone else shop here. I couldn't imagine a child being turned away from the bathroom. You shouldn't shop someplace where your basic human needs are not met.

    Worst staff Bathrooms closed after 5:00 pm , I asked 2 associates for a bathroom for my son and they replied to go Home Depot !!! my son had an accident as he couldn’t wait. Simply don’t go there

    The new renovations are nice, but don't expect to find everything you need at this store. There's always 30 people walking around pretend to work with one register open that's not self checkout. Also, don't bother to return anything as the old woman at the Exchange counter is a rude witch! This store needs some serious help.

    Big store, Big selection....sadly outside is A LOT of junkies crawling around South Hampton street. The store itself is amazing but you do have to be careful in the Target restroom (needle disposal box), outside to the right of the store (trash and the junkies laying around) and even the parking lot since the junkies can look for cars looking to break into them. TRUST ME, IT HAPPENS! But Target has a great selection of just anything you are looking for. You'll notice they have the medicines LOCKED UP simply because the junkies come in looking to steal.

    It's a not great shopping experience. The electronics dept is a nightmare and has nothing and no one can help you. The Cosmetics Dept is NEVER stocked and always out of everything. The employees say this is because of theft but they have clearly given up even trying in these depts. If you need cosmetics or personal care items or elctronics go to another Target because these depts are never properly stalked . The clothing dept is usually pretty good. If you need any kind of employee help Overall not a great shopping experience.

    I came pretty late at night to do a tricky return and Crystal was AMAZING!!! She was so patient the entire time and never once complained. Her coworker Val was also a huge help. Thank you Crystal for helping me tonight :)

    Target South Bay is a harrowing shopping experience that will leave you trembling in fear. As you enter the store, a suffocating sense of unease settles over you like a thick, oily fog. The dim lighting, twisted aisles, and ominous silence create an atmosphere of dread that seems to permeate every corner of the store. But it's the workers who truly inspire terror. They lurk in the shadows, their movements jerky and unnatural, and their eyes hollow and lifeless. Their empty, soulless voices greet you, and it's as if they're not human at all, but some twisted automaton. They seem to be programmed to ensnare unsuspecting shoppers and keep them trapped in the labyrinthine depths of the store. One worker in particular stands out from the rest. Its eyes burn with a feverish intensity, and its voice is filled with a manic urgency that sends shivers down your spine. Instead of warning you to leave, this worker tries to lure you into signing up for a Red Card, with a slick charm that seems to be part of some sinister agenda. If you value your sanity and well-being, steer clear of Target South Bay. Its twisted aisles and hollow-eyed workers are not worth any potential discounts or rewards. Protect yourself from its dark and malevolent influence, and avoid this store at all costs.

    I am surprised by all the recent bad reviews. I don’t live in Boston, but I come here at least 6 times a year and I truly enjoy coming to this store! Good Lightning, ample aisles and well stocked. I must admit that during COVID time there were empty shelves, however, as of March 2022, that is not the case as you may see in my pictures. Each time I come here there are merchandising staff organizing and replenishing the shelves. You can find clothes for all sizes (petite and plus included) with a very good selection and good prices. My most favourite is the Home department. Lots of options, even though not too many decorative pillows. There is a CVS and a Starbucks in- store so, very convenient for a multi-shopping experience.

    I had a very good same day order and pick up experience. I ordered a small wood box to hold my incense. After researching online I realized Target had the best product in terms of size and price. I ordered it around noon time on a Sunday and I had the box in my hands by 2:30pm. While it would have been fine for me to pick it up the next day, the email alert, the turn around time, and the pick up experience were excellent. This is at the South Bay, Boston location.

    Common necessities under lock and key, requiring you to flag down employees. Incredibly wasteful of my time and removes any convenience associated with in-store shopping. Will be purchasing more with Amazon in the future.

    The lady at the self checkout (today 7/9) refused to sell me the item that they put on the shelves for clearance. She said they are not on the system and should be removed. She took the items back. She also didnot believe the items at that low price and thinking im telling lie. I asked her to go with me to the shelves but she refused to go and talked on the radio to ask someone to remove the items. I went to take the picture and showed her on my way out to prove im was not telling lie(attached picture). She then spoke less and walk away. Such a bad experience shopping at this store.

    I have had multiple great experiences at this Target (South Bay, Boston). The App is efficient; the pickup (or return) experience is made so easy by the helpful, efficient Target crew members who work so well together. It is about time that I write this review! I have had several great experiences, mostly since COVID. Ordering through the App and picking up is safer and so efficient. I am very grateful.

    0 Stars..product listed as available (bread)..store swapped another bread option without notice. Seriously..why does the website state the product when clearly the employee in the bread section says they have not had any product for some time.

    This store is Horrible. Besides the working looking tired, I constantly can hear their managers yelling on their walkies. The three managers I saw walking around the store gossiping and when I had went up to them to ask for help they basically dismissed me. It was an amazing young man and women that helped me locate my items. I ended up asking them how they feel about working at this store and they all agreed they’re miserable. According to the team members the extremely rude managers I ran into were Sol, Liberty, and a Shayla. I will never come back to this store and hope they don’t treat everyone the way they treated me.

    Honesty I thought when people said Walmart was better than target I thought they were joking nah they weren’t target is so unhelpful I asked a worker for where a item was they told me confusing words and acted as if I been inside this target before along with that the target workers saw me struggle and instead of asking me if I need help they just stared at me like I was useless and that is why I won’t evert say target is the best it’s actually one of the worst stores I have ever been too with their off brand rich Walmart self. Walmart betterrrr….

    Don’t come here. Worst Target EVER. Drug deals in the parking lot. Aisles are in disarray, shelves are empty. Just. Terrible.

    If I could give less than one star I absolutely would. I ordered a curbside pick up and within 45 minutes I got a notification that the order was ready to be picked up. I followed the instructions for pulling into the curbside check-in area which has no numbers which makes it harder for associates to determine where to drop things off. I have been waiting for more than an hour and no one has answered the phone at this place. It is so unprofessional to not leave a comment or reach out to someone to let them know that their order will be delayed

    I had a 5 star experience with the sales person (Jules) in the electronics department. When I asked to see a manager because I wanted to give a good review on the service I received, I was unable to speak with a manager. One was on the phone having a person call and just refused to listen. I went to see another one who was occupied elsewhere. I finally told the people in customer service that this young man had been so professional and helpful. Too bad he will probably adopt the attitudes of his supervisors.

    Right next to the largest most violent homeless shelter in Boston this Target is soooo ghetto. Better to drive to Quincy Walmart.

    Terrible customer service. Staff look so miserable, and nobody ever wants to help. They just radio for someone else to come by. Someone named Javon was especially rude when I asked for help. I would rather drive the extra 30 minutes to another Target than shop here again.

👍👍 The store is pretty big and spread out.They have pretty good deals on everything including apparel, shoes, accessories, equipment etc. The staff here are really nice, polite, and very helpful.
