The nurse on the door asking people what is wrong, is very rude and quite loud, I thought what was said is private and confidential but no, she likes to broadcast it so everyone can hear. Told me to put my mask on when I'm stood outside as she didn't want to catch anything from me. Absolutely rude! She's tallish, skinny, wears a blue nurse's dress and grey bobbed/shortish hair! She needs to work on her bedside manner! She makes the place look bad!

Finding it impossible to make an appointment with my GP at our local health centre, I travelled to Norwich to the walk-in centre. What a truly fantastic service! I was seen after 45 minutes (a perfectly reasonable waiting time in the early evening, when the centre was obviously busy) and the GP, Dr Popa, couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. She diagnosed the problem correctly and sent a prescription electronically to my local pharmacy, which I picked up the following morning. Even more impressive, she asked me to return a week later so she could check on my progress. The clinical and administrative staff are all very helpful, obviously working hard to deal efficiently with a large number of patients. It occurred to me that this should be the model for all NHS GP consultations; no missed appointments, GPs free to give each patient as much (or as little) time as is needed to diagnose the problem and prescribe medication, no endless waits on the phone to one's local health centre trying to get through to book an appointment, only to be told that none is available. Many thanks to all the staff at the Norwich Walk-in Centre for a brilliant service!!!

Came here today as recommended by my local surgery as they were short staffed. The staff at the walk in centre were very polite and helpful and dealt with me very quickly and efficiently. The doctor I saw was straight on my situation with knowledge and sent me on my way with a solution quickly. I've not had to come here before but my experience was great and I'm thankful to all the staff and the NHS working here.

Amazing staff especially the nurse doing the late afternoon triage on the door today. If anyone doubts NHS staff deserve a pay rise they should spend the afternoon here. We really are blessed in the UK to have such a resource thank you :)

I couldn’t get an appointment with my GP & needed to see someone. I checked the waiting time on the walk in website which was only 20 minutes. Was greeted in a friendly manner & was seen by a fantastic nurse within 20 mins. Hats off to this lot, very friendly & professional. Thank you 😊

You cannot fault this service. First class. Smooth check in process, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I much prefer to go here than attend my GP surgery which is extremely difficult to get an appointment with.

Although very busy on a Sunday morning the centre is efficiently run and I only had to wait 90 mins. The nurse practitioner quickly diagnosed shingles and I was soon on my way with a prescription. Much better than A&E and certainly easier than getting a docs appt!!

Lovely medical staff...worked hard to move people through quickly. Friendly and helpful. Receptionist was something else though. Happy to let a mum and sick newborn stand and queue outside in winter temperatures despite being asked if they can just move inside to entrance way rather than by the road. Not ok and awful people skills.

I was told to use the Walk-in Centre by the duty doctor at my surgery yesterday. I found the Walk-in Centre very impressive. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The doctor that treated me, told me exactly what she was doing and made me feel at ease. Please may we have more Walk-in Centres closer to where I live. A big thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of me. It was so quick, no waiting.

My mother was treated horribly and dismissively by a nurse here and after getting a second opinion is now looking to make a formal complaint. Total disregard for clear symptoms, wrote incorrectly on her medical record as confirmed by her doctor. Better off going to A&E if you want actual help.

a member of staff on the door today was incredibly rude, shouting at me and my mum. we needed urgent help as i couldn’t breathe and were completely dismissed and told to come back later. a lady on the door was arguing with me about my symptoms despite me being unable to speak because of my throat closing up. she rolled her eyes, shouted and told me there was nothing wrong with me. (despite having conjunctivitis in both eyes, allergic reaction causing my throat to close up, and a head injury and locked jaw after being assulted the day prior). she is a disgrace to the NHS.

I've taken my teen children a few times, and each time an outstanding service. Last night the GP had excellent knowkedge of a rear hearing condition which my daughter suffers with- he was outstanding with his knowledge , thank you.

The walk in clinic is a life saver (no pun intended). Getting a GP appointment at our local practice is nearly impossible. If you are ill, you will not mind waiting a bit to see a professional. Staff are friendly and helpful from Check-In to Walk-Out. All GP Surgeries should follow this model.

Arrived on a busy Sunday morning, patients were queung out the door but I couldn't fault the service received. All 3 members of staff who I spoke to (Triage, Reception & Nurse Practitioner) were friendly & efficient. I was in & out within 45 minutes with my diagnosis & prescription. This is a fantastic resource when your GP cannot help and A&E is not appropriate. It would be a shame to lose it.

Antibiotics were prescribed for a chronic cough last Wednesday, my condition only got worse, today I had another appointment, the doctor didn't use it because the cough is caused by a virus! Then why did I get antibiotics??? I'm still sick...

Went to the walk in centre at 5pm yesterday & was seen within 30mins. Although there wasn’t a lot they could do for my situation at the time I really cannot thank the Nurse (Sam I think she was called) enough!! She advised what she thinks my doctor should do for me & what I need to have done, she put all this information on my notes. I had a call from the Nurse this morning, even though my appointment wasn’t booked until Wednesday & has referred me and prescribed me with everything Sam recommended. This is the furthest I have ever got with my local doctors & I believe it’s all down to Sam & all the staff at the walk in centre. Thankyou!!

Absolutely fantastic service, the staff were fast efficient and kind, I saw Andy who gave my eyes a thorough examination , explained everything in detail and got me on my way with a prescription within minutes, I don’t know what I’d have done without you guys as I know my own GP surgery would never have given me an urgent appointment first thing on a Monday morning, & I was in severe discomfort , thank you so much for such terrific care .

Excellent service from 111 and NHS walk in centre this evening. I called 111 at 20:15, 2 hours later we have had a face to face appointment for our 6 month old, diagnosis has been made and antibiotics prescribed. Thank you for all being amazing :)

Arrived in UK on Friday 13th October for 1st time in 20 years with many stories of collapsing UK Health structure. That night went down with heavy lung infection, which by Monday was bad. Friend drove me to centre & I was simply overwhelmed by friendliness, competence & help of all involved. Truly wonderful. Sure, nobody wants to wait 2 hours but midday on Monday in Autumn with all other bugs & viruses about, it's really not an issue. I obviously can't judge fundamentals of buildings & equipment, A&E, operation waiting lists etc, but this service gets my full 5* and a big, big Dankeschön😘

I took my daughter here while on holiday on the advice of 111, and got seen within 5 minutes! I would have been pleased with anything short of 1 hour. It was early in the day and I probably got lucky but even still, couldn’t be happier with the service. Very grateful, Thank you.

We managed to get to the surgery after a 30 minute drive 10 minutes prior to their closure time after being recommended to go immediately by 111. But as they had already shut up shop we had to drive a further 20 minutes to A&E. We are not local so the stress and inconvenience really wasn’t ideal.

I took my 7 year old who had a really bad tummy pain and we were seen by a lovely paramedic after a short wait. She was so good with my little one and put her at ease, explained what she was doing every step, and in no time we were sorted with antibiotics. Don’t know what we would do without the walk in centre.

Advised to go there by GP surgery. I waited about 90 mins ,as they had indicated and was treated by Sam who was professional and helpful prescribing me antibiotics for my infection. Thanks it was worth the wait and I didn't feel I had wasted their time.

My wife went on advice of 111 after it was not possible to get a GP appointment, after trying every day for a week. Doctor was rude, condescending, said he didn't know what the problem was, and said she should see her GP as they're better equipped. Said doctor had better hope this doesn't turn out to be a real problem.

Every time I have been in it has been extremely busy and in spite of this I was still seen an hour after I arrived. The nurse practitioner who saw me was knowledgeable and helpful. We are so lucky to have this amazing service in Norwich 🧡 thank you all for your kindness and incredible hard work each day.

My daughter came to the walk in tonight with my grandson who’s only 5 days old and suffering from jaundice. The midwife told her to get him checked over as every time he’s sneezed today he’s had yellow discharge from his nose. She was in the queue outside and a receptionist came out and she said her midwife had told her to come and before she could say what the problem was the receptionist told her to go to A&E as he couldn’t be seen. She didn’t even give my daughter a chance to say what the problem was which I think is so bad and this has happened to someone else I know with the same receptionist. I think the receptionist needs to have more training with dealing with patients in a more polite manner as she was very rude.

Have always had great respect for this centre, like GP service of old, turn up and be seen. Usually seen by nurse practitioners but sometimes a GP on duty. Very thorough, professional and friendly only wish they could make direct hospital referrals such as scans rather than having to wait for GP appointment and referral which would streamline the overall result. Every town should have at least one, I'm sure it helps reduce the often massive queues at A&E which are the only viable alternative for urgent care given the near impossibility of getting same day GP appointments. Lastly, it takes as long to be seen as the queue ahead of you although the receptionists do a quick vocal triage presumably in case they think someone needs to be seen quicker. Brilliant thanks.

If i could give a minus rating I would! This is the second time my son has needed to go to Norwich walk in centre and both times he’s been seen by the same ‘doctor’ if he even is a doctor ! His attitude was disgusting both times ! Rude, couldn’t even look at my son let alone speak to him, printed prescription off and handed it to him saying nothing …. Managed to take a call for his online shopping order to be delivered though ! If he doesn’t like his job leave! He’s dealing will the general public who are ill !!!!! My son didn’t want to be there either but wasn’t rude and impolite !!!!

Got sent away after 111 sent me here( I told them on phone had positive test previously). I had covid symptoms 22nd last positive was 25 I came here no temperature or symptoms. Was refused treatment and said to go up a and e also scared me into thinking I could have something serious( I have severe panic disorder). I couldn't test before coming here because I don't have any tests. Went up to a and e wasting their time( feel awful when their are more patients in need then me). They tested me was covid negative. My chest was hurting really bad with extreme burning sensation. Just wanted something to help me so I could eat, Sleep and drink again.

don't even bother going, went there as i lost hearing in my right ear over the weekend and waited three hours to only be told that only children are going to be seen the moment so i left. I then received a phone call asking where i am in which i said the wait was too long i have work and if i had known i would've just taken myself A&E. She asked me to return the next day at 11 which i did to then wait outside for 25 minutes with the seating area empty, and being completely ignored with the only exception being the security guard who was staring at me as if I had just robbed a bank, and as the same as last time I left and have woken up this morning not being able to swallow and breathing like i have a crippling nicotine addiction, which COULDVE been solved three days ago and now i have to wait until the weeks end to even be seen by a doctor.

Couldn’t get my 18 month seen at my gp practice no appointments, went today to walk in centre so busy and wait up to 2 hours to be seen.told to wait outside as no room. It was raining and I use public transport, left as I can not wait in rain for that amount of time. Been trying to get appointment for over a week now and no luck. Think my son has an ear infection. This is why so many people got to accident and emergency as no one can see their GP or get seen at walk in centre

I am not able to review the medical staff. I was turned away tonight by what looked like bouncer 19.05. Is 1 hour 5 minutes a long cut off time? I went there because I was unable to get help from my local surgery and I am in need of urgent treatment for a UTI. 72 infirm and turned away from Dr's surgery and Walk-in Centre. I would love to give someone a good review but it isnt going to happen. Just like my treatment. If I end up with a severe infection who is responsible please?

Went in at 8pm on Friday evening only to be told that they close at 9pm so it’s pointless waiting. It’s a good job NHS staff at the hospital don’t behave in this appalling way and at 5pm down tools in theatre!

😠 The receptionist is unpatient, even though i have stated that I suffered from anxiety. I was asking politely about the appointment booking, that receptionist literally yelled: ' That's the only time slot we've got, can you do it or not?' I understand it must be hard time to work as a receptionist...
