CF617
has
been
a
truly
amazing
experience!
If
you
are
looking
for
a
diverse,
inclusive
community
of
fitness-minded
people,
this
is
your
place,
no
matter
what
your
current
level
of
fitness
is.
To
understand
why
CF617
is
so
much
better
and
different
than
a
'gym",
consider
the
well-known
phenomenon
of
people
making
New
Years'
resolutions
to
get
in
shape.
They
join
a
gym
in
January
and
start
off
strong
but
most
have
quit
by
Spring.
Why?
They
walk
into
a
room
with
hundreds
of
pieces
of
equipment
and
have
no
idea
where
to
start,
or
what
to
do
every
day.
They
fall
into
a
routine
of
a
bit
of
weight-lifting
and
then
some
cardio
on
a
treadmill
or
bike.
BORING.
No
coaching.
No
improvement.
So
they
give
up.
It
is
TOTALLY
different
at
CF
617.
You
show
up
for
an
hour
3-5
times
a
week
for
HIIT
(High
Intensity
Interval
Training).
It
is
a
structured
class
with
an
instructor.
The
instructor
guides
the
class
through
a
routine
of
warm
up,
stretching,
technique,
and
then
there
is
usually
a
strength
piece
followed
by
the
WOD
(workout
of
the
day).
Although
each
class
follows
the
same
general
format,
in
9
months
every
single
class
has
been
different.
And
every
single
class
builds
on
the
classes
that
have
come
before.
In
each
class
you
may
have
CF
veterans
who
have
been
doing
it
for
years
mixed
in
with
brand
new
members.
All
of
the
workouts
and
exercises
are
"scalable"
so
that
everyone
can
do
them.
And
before
you
even
start
your
first
group
class,
everyone
goes
through
Elements:
a
1:1
introduction
to
CF.
I
am
61
years
old,
have
run
the
Boston
Marathon
and
played
collegiate
rugby.
9
months
into
CF
and
I
am
far
stronger,
fitter
and
more
flexible
than
I
have
ever
been
in
my
life.
The
motto
of
CF617
is
"Be
Kind.
Be
Humble.
Be
Strong".
The
coaches
and
the
community
are
incredibly
supportive.
YOU
WILL
LOVE
IT!!!
