I don't have a good experience with this trip. I was traveling solo and i bought a ticket for one person. When I arrived they asked me to pay the full 2000 vehicle price and 400 guide fare as well. So for me it costs 3400 rs. So, i simply say if you are not more than 4 person then don't go for safari. It's become costly. It is 5km far from Gandhi chowk. So, if you book auto it costs 100 rs minimum. But you can also go for dolatpara and after that 1 km walk it costs 20 rs only.

You are in junagadh and wanted to enjoy wild safari then you should visit Girnar Nature safari which is as good as Gir jungle trails. Lions are main attractions of this safari.

Excellent safari. Remember this is girnar safari and this is in junagadh. Experience as lovely as gir safari. Spotted 5 lions, few sambar dears, nilgai, crocodile, vultures, spotted dears in the safari Almost 1 year of its start and its really picking up. Tickers can be booked online on the same site as gir safari. Very easy to book. There are two slots - one in early morning and one in afternoon. Gypsy are available along with knowledgeable guide and driver. Our driver was dipakbhai and he was wonderful. Starting point of safari is near indreshwar naku which is located 2 km behind sakkarbagh zoo.. With udankhatola and now this girnar jungle safari - junagadh has some wonderful new tourist options to try. Must visit safari

One of the best sighting and if you are lucky enough you can sight a leopard too. The trail of safari is more surprising than other places at every turn you have find more and more if you open your ears for sound of birds and eyes to watch.

Its a girnar nature safari junagadh its worth to visit this place. We had a amazing experience watching lioness there around with other animals.. Our forest guide yashbhai was awesome and nayanbhai driver too made our trip memorable.. Surely best place to visit..

On 24th April 2022, we visited Girnar lion safari in morning slot i.e. 06:00 to 09:00 AM. We couldn't see even single lion. If you really want to see lion in its natural habitat book Gir safari at Sasan instead of Girnar lion safari at Junagadh. Driver and guide are very good in nature and cooperative but it's not enough if our main purpose was not served after spending too much money and time.

A great place to see Lion and enjoy Girnar fauna and flora. It's just outside Junagadh city.

Best place to visit Asiatic lion on their natural habitat.. 100% wild lions will be spotted . Good polite drivers and guides..

Advance booking should be made. Don't visit on weekends if you want to see lions.

Girnar nature safari time early morning no time after morning for safari Savari on junagadh Only online booking no offline booking avalable

Only visit if you have no other chance to visit the other Lion safaris of Gir.. this safari ride is about 10km one side and then return the same path.. which is basically along the outer edge of the forest, with the farm lands on the other side.. is fun trip rather than actual jungle experience as you are constantly next to human habitat on one side.. Also the area doesn't seem to be meant for Lions, possibly those were introduced later for the safari as there is very less grasslands and mostly dense tree coverage.. will spot multiple Sambhar and Spotted Deers.. countless peacocks and couple of crocodiles.. We were able to catch a glimpse of a Lioness with her two cubs.. The additional Guide charge doesn't seem to be justified, as it was our Gypsy Driver who was doing the major wildlife spotting.. and the guide hardly provided any info on the flora n fauna. Overall, visit the Gir safari and skip this. And if you still want to visit, choose the morning slot only.

This is Girnar nature safari in Junagadh and not the one in Gir. The safari takes around on the edge of the jungle but we did spot a few lions and cubs along with Sambar Deer and lots of peacock on the morning slot. The morning slot is the best time i feel to explore this place.

Superb place to visit.. Only 4 trip in morning and 4 in evening are allowed in Junagadh Girnar safari only, so very peacefully and calmly we can watch lions . Excellent staff behaviour I will prefer Girnar more than Sasan Gir...

Worst experience We took evening safari. their route is on the edge of jungle Right side its jungle and on left is boundary wall of villages,farmhouses and farms And it is very obvious that lions can't be spotted on the edge of the jungle But still they said with complete confidence that lions will be spotted We just spotted a few animals (samba and spotteddears)and birds (peacock/peahen) I visited most of the national parks in india and this time it was worst They're taking down the reputation of gir and sashann gate at gir Our ride almost costed 5000 per gypsy Fully waste of money and 3 hours They took us on top of the mountain and took break of 1 hour

Mostly try book safari at morning 6 am slot,there only 1 route in this safari & it's benefit of this.because you show lion easily.

Surely best place to visit.. Note : There is no guarantee of seeing lions here, if you are lucky, you may see them, some people don't.

This safari is in Junagadh and this is not Sasan Gir. But trust me i found this safari more better than the one in Sasan Gir. We had booked the jeep safari and the guide was very knowledgeable and very much eager to explain each and every aspect of wildlife that we saw during the safari. As part of the safari they take you to the forest check tower point and the view from there is also amazing. Do select the timings very carefully. We had selected the evening slot of 3 pm to 6pm . The guide clearly mentioned that lions come out only after 5.30pm and during our return path we saw a lioness and her two Cubs right in the middle of the road. This was an awesome experience. Do not select timings in the heat of the day . Remember lions are nocturnal animals and always choose early mornings or late evenings slot.

Booked online and did a Safari on 14 Nov 23. Saw 17 (Animals + Birds) including the BIG PRIZE, a Lioness and her Cub. They were sitting on the road. Many reviews say that this is close to farm and all. I found the safari to be amazing. My guide was knowledgeable and was eager to share his stories. The halt at the other end is a bit too much, can be reduced to 15 mins instead of 30 mins. NOTE :- TICKETS CAN ONLY BE BOUGHT ONLINE. NO PLASTIC BOTTLES ALLOWED INSIDE SAFARI PARK.

A safari ride in Junagadh. Only online booking is available. You can choose from the two available slots of morning and afternoon. Chances of seeing lion is more during the morning slot. Kindly book the slots well in advance as the bookings are generally full. One way distance of the ride is 13 kms. A guide will be provided with you for which you will have to pay extra fees. It will take about three hours for the entire safari ride. Also do visit Indreshwar mahadev temple which is situated near the entry gate of girnar nature safari.

Its good to see lions in Gir nature safari. If you want to explore junagadh, its good combination of Safari without going to Sasan.
