RareTea is a chain tea shop that finally opened in Washington state! I attended their soft opening BOGO event and have been coming back occasionally ever since. For the quantity and quality you get in their standard drink size, I would consider their drinks fairly priced. Service has been courteous and drinks are made efficiently. My personal favorite drink is the rose matcha latte and Okinawa milk tea, both with less sweetness. However one time when I ordered it with oat milk, it tasted different as if the milk was rotten. I'm hesitant to get drinks with oat milk even though it is my preference. I've also tried the taro milk tea, teapresso milk tea with signature tea, and grape duo. They were all good, but not outstanding. The tapioca/boba has consistently had optimal chewiness and texture. Something minor that has thrown me off a bit is some of the drinks look different than pictured. The grape duo is more pink than their advertised image shows (more purple/red). The teapresso milk tea came with the tea already mixed with the milk (compared its menu photo of the tea layered on top) and was very light in color, nearly white, as if it was just milk. The tea taste was there, but not as strong as I prefer. Located in the Kirkland Urban shopping plaza with underground garage parking by validation. If you're lucky, you can snag a ground level pick-up parking spot and preorder on their Square website to save on wait time. The interior has an aesthetic and comfortable environment for enjoying the drinks. There is free public WiFi provided by Kirkland Urban.

The place has plenty of seating space available inside. The atmosphere is good. The teas are good as well however the service has room for improvement. I ordered a tea and took a seat and was waiting for my number/name to be called that never happen I had to proactively ask where my order was to my surprise my order had been seating for more than a couple of minutes ready in the front table.

Update: Cole and Ronan helped us with our drink. Very nice and understanding guys, the drink was also great! Came back today to get the usual drink and it was completely messed up. I waited 20 minutes for one drink and when they made it I noticed the drink was a white shade and not it’s normal pink like a strawberry drink should be. Well turns out it was just ice and milk this time. You can see in the photos. Old: So far the experience and drinks have been great. The Boba was nice and chewy and the milk tea itself was also very good. The second time we tried their smooteas and those were better than we had expected.

This place used to be my favorite. I've been here several times and their teaspresso drinks were my go-to. The last few times, the tea flavor is less strong and just like any run of the mill, boba place. Disappointed that the dropoff was so quick in just the few months they've been open.

Wow I was impressed with my drink and experience. They have a large menu of teas and drinks, there was no line for me on a Thursday afternoon. The drinks came out fast and tried a sip. The boba was delicious here and not too sweet for being 50% sweetness. I’d come back!

I ordered Duo Grape Tea which is excellent! They have so much grape pulp inside!
