My fiancé and I have been going to this Row House since 2020 and absolutely love it! The variety of classes is amazing and the evening class times are perfect for those with 9-5s who don’t like to wake up super early. All their instructors are amazing and know how to welcome newcomers and get them in swing. If it’s your first time rowing, I’d recommend trying a foundations class with Susan — she really knows how to break it down into its core elements for a wonderful workout. Coach Alessandra also definitely knows how to get your heart pumping and muscles activated in her signature classes. Overall there’s no shortage of wonderful staff here and plenty of classes to choose from. I hope I see y’all in class!

I have been an unlimited member of Row House West Seattle since June 19th 2021, recently hitting 2 million meters in under a year. I had never spoken in "meters" before joining this club but now I am motivated to GET MORE METERS haha! The staff is professional, fun, accommodating, caring, dedicated and knowledgeable! The space is always clean. The coaches each have their own unique style however in general there is a consistency that you learn to expect with each of them. They care about your form so that you get the most out of your workout and you do not inadvertently hurt yourself. They want you to succeed, no mater what success means for you. They release their schedule a month in advance so you can plan your workouts accordingly with morning, mid-day and evening classes. They do theme rows too which adds an element of fun, each class is accompanied by music of all kinds! The owners and the GM are present and get to know their members. Each person who checks you in learns your name quickly to the point that walking into this location is like walking into Cheers! I feel better than I have in many years with more energy, better sleep, definitely stronger and overall feel like a more pleasant person. Thankful for Row House West Seattle!

A low-impact cardio workout that's as challenging as you want it to be, so it works for every shape and fitness level. The coaches are so positive and supportive, and they switch up the routine just often enough to keep it fresh.

Row House provides a full body exercise experience that make day brain happy. The coaches are personable, encouraging, and help each person stay motivated towards their own fitness goals. The attendant greets you by name when you check in. I have never left a class without a BIG smile on my face.

I am loving it. After day one I decided to do their unlimited plan and I now have my month filled. Welcoming environment 😌 By far the best workout and it's convenient 6am class works perfect. I can still make it to work on time and it gives you a nice pump! Each class allows you to challenge your own goal and through their app you can also set your own goals. Perfect, I'm glad I found them.

I’ve been attending classes at the Row House for over six months now and I absolutely love it! The coaches all have their own distinct style, but are equally engaging, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and very well-maintained, and the members are considerate and respectful. Plus, the community is filled with folks of all ages, ability, size, etc. - everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve rowed for years or you’re brand new to the erg, you’ll have a seat at the Row House table!

My first time taking a class was in June 2022. I tried a few more classes, and I was hooked. The staff/coaches are extremely friendly, welcoming and make you feel super comfortable. They interact with all the members and wonderful people that come in everyday. Feels like I have been going there since they opened. I would say it is 100% my happy place. I would recommend taking the foundation class with Susan. She knows what she's talking about. Super helpful before all the other amazing classes. Strength is definitely my tough class, but the more you get into them the better you get. If you are feeling hesitant about trying it, don't. It's a great fit for me, and I believe it would be for others too. I am not so much into gyms so this form of exercise is amazing. It's a full body workout and I can 100% say I feel great starting my mornings off at Row House. Sets the bar for the rest of my day🙂

I've been attending classes here for about a year. Susan is by far my favorite coach. She is super kind and motivating and I would highly recommend her for beginners in particular. Come join the Wednesday night foundation fellowship! I've also done classes with Ali and Katya. They can really get you sweating! Can't say that I've ever had a bad class. Don't let the waitlist scare you off. There seems to always be last minute openings.

Adding rowing to my exercise regimen has been a net positive. I got tired of slacking off on my running and decided to try Row House for a low-impact full body workout. I couldn't be happier with the supportive environment, different classes set to motivating music, and time slots that fit into my schedule. The coaches are friendly and fun and you leave feeling good about yourself after a good sweat - what's not to like?

Terrific, low-impact workout - my core has never been stronger! The staff genuinely cares about your experience and suggests modifications to make sure the classes work for everyone. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

As a beginner, I enjoy the Foundation class with Susan. The atmosphere is fun, supportive, and non-judgmental. Participants span decades in their ages and are friendly.

Tried a free class this morning and needless to say I'll be joining! Perfect way to get back into the gym with a fun, low impact workout. Class flew by and I left feeling awesome--thank you Coach Caitlin!

I love my rowing classes. Not just that coaches are professional, fun and caring. The community is powerfull. The space is clean, the music is uplifting. Lastly the water in row house is excellant quality. Every day I fill up my 3 bottles for the rest of day. I got my energy and life is easy.

Absolutely love Row House! Their studio and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Instructors are thorough, knowledgeable, and motivating. The app allows you to track your progress and set individual goals, and in class you can hit goals as a team. Hoping my schedule smooths out so I can come back soon. They are requiring proof of vaccination OR a negative Covid test (within last 72 hrs) to attend class. This was a hiccup for my personal time constraints, but very happy they accept negative test results as well. 10/10 definitely recommend. UPDATE: Back in the boat! It's the best workout I've ever done outside of crossfit.

I wish they had a few more time slots available for the most popular classes, but it is a great concept and fun instructors. Tip: once you sign up, hold out for the package deals!

The staff, coaches, and owners care and are incredible. I needed a low impact workout for my chronic pain, and this workout is perfect. I have been rowing here for over 2 years and can't imagine my week without it.

Before joining Row House, I had never been on an Erg machine and never rowed. But the staff and coaches at Row House are so encouraging and considerate. Please call them if you feel nervous or hesitant to go in for a class, especially if you’re a first timer…you will be excited to go in by the end of the conversation. The front desk is always so excited to see each and every person who comes in! The coaches are so thoughtful, caring, and motivating. They even think about the stretches/workouts and music depending on who is coming into their class because they really get to know their members. The location is so clean, the lockers available is such a nice perk, the bathroom is so well stocked and clean…I can go on and on. I found out I was pregnant when Covid first hit in March of 2020 and had my baby December 2020. So I basically did not leave my house or really move my body much for a year and a half. Trying to workout again was so daunting to me. I had no direction when I went to the gym and high impact workouts were much harder on my postpartum body. And group fitness scared me because I was so nervous of being the worst person in the room or being so out of shape that I couldn’t keep up. Row House reassured me that rowing is what you put into it. At my first class, the staff and coach walked me through how to use the Erg, proper form, and gave modified versions of stretches and exercises. They also explained the half stroke to me in case I was feeling overwhelmed or behind in my stroke. The class works together as though you’re on the same boat but YOU are really your own competition to better your form, lower your split, and accrue meters. It sounds cheesy, but I’ve always heard to find something you love to do to keep yourself moving and I truly love rowing at Row House. My friends are always asking what I’m doing because I’ve gotten so much stronger since starting just 2 months ago. This place is the best! It’s kind of crazy how excited I am to go to every class. Also it seems as though every month they have a fun challenge like 12 Days of Fitmas or Resolve to Row which keeps you motivated to come into class. They also care deeply for the community such as Art Walk nights, food drives and family/baby supply drives. I can’t recommend this place enough. It only took me 4 classes to sign up for the unlimited monthly plan.
