Before
joining
Row
House,
I
had
never
been
on
an
Erg
machine
and
never
rowed.
But
the
staff
and
coaches
at
Row
House
are
so
encouraging
and
considerate.
Please
call
them
if
you
feel
nervous
or
hesitant
to
go
in
for
a
class,
especially
if
you’re
a
first
timer…you
will
be
excited
to
go
in
by
the
end
of
the
conversation.
The
front
desk
is
always
so
excited
to
see
each
and
every
person
who
comes
in!
The
coaches
are
so
thoughtful,
caring,
and
motivating.
They
even
think
about
the
stretches/workouts
and
music
depending
on
who
is
coming
into
their
class
because
they
really
get
to
know
their
members.
The
location
is
so
clean,
the
lockers
available
is
such
a
nice
perk,
the
bathroom
is
so
well
stocked
and
clean…I
can
go
on
and
on.
I
found
out
I
was
pregnant
when
Covid
first
hit
in
March
of
2020
and
had
my
baby
December
2020.
So
I
basically
did
not
leave
my
house
or
really
move
my
body
much
for
a
year
and
a
half.
Trying
to
workout
again
was
so
daunting
to
me.
I
had
no
direction
when
I
went
to
the
gym
and
high
impact
workouts
were
much
harder
on
my
postpartum
body.
And
group
fitness
scared
me
because
I
was
so
nervous
of
being
the
worst
person
in
the
room
or
being
so
out
of
shape
that
I
couldn’t
keep
up.
Row
House
reassured
me
that
rowing
is
what
you
put
into
it.
At
my
first
class,
the
staff
and
coach
walked
me
through
how
to
use
the
Erg,
proper
form,
and
gave
modified
versions
of
stretches
and
exercises.
They
also
explained
the
half
stroke
to
me
in
case
I
was
feeling
overwhelmed
or
behind
in
my
stroke.
The
class
works
together
as
though
you’re
on
the
same
boat
but
YOU
are
really
your
own
competition
to
better
your
form,
lower
your
split,
and
accrue
meters.
It
sounds
cheesy,
but
I’ve
always
heard
to
find
something
you
love
to
do
to
keep
yourself
moving
and
I
truly
love
rowing
at
Row
House.
My
friends
are
always
asking
what
I’m
doing
because
I’ve
gotten
so
much
stronger
since
starting
just
2
months
ago.
This
place
is
the
best!
It’s
kind
of
crazy
how
excited
I
am
to
go
to
every
class.
Also
it
seems
as
though
every
month
they
have
a
fun
challenge
like
12
Days
of
Fitmas
or
Resolve
to
Row
which
keeps
you
motivated
to
come
into
class.
They
also
care
deeply
for
the
community
such
as
Art
Walk
nights,
food
drives
and
family/baby
supply
drives.
I
can’t
recommend
this
place
enough.
It
only
took
me
4
classes
to
sign
up
for
the
unlimited
monthly
plan.
