Absolutely stunning and fascinating. The meal was fabulous and special and we learned so much.

One of the ex-libris is the Castle of Marialva. I am passionate about castles, and this castle is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The ruins were exceptionally preserved. One of my favorite places, and visiting the castle at the end of the day, it's perfect.

Small place but full of estory

An intesreting historic middle age village.

Medieval castle with forsaken town. A must see, of course.

Superb castle with real feeling of how the town within operated. Closes at 5pm. Tickets at the tourist office underneath. Village is beautiful as well.

Too bad it closes early

We approached from the north under the cover of the night. Undetected we set up camp. At the break of daylight, we launched our assault and as the sun reached the peak of the day it was ours. All to ourselves! We conquered Marialva.

Very good to go on a hike to the top and check out the castle. It does not have safety measures against falling so be careful and think twice about bringing children

Huge castle. Very atmospheric. Can explore every corner. Great value for money and a must visit.
