A trainwreck of an experience: excellent and caring staff, but uncaring owners who are willing to renovate and disturb guests with drilling from dawn till dusk. Beds are clean but everything is caked in construction dust. The guest house is first and foremost a signage company and service business, the guest house is an additional revenue stream and you will be treated as such - a secondary priority. No hot water, no proper toilet door, DSTV decoder kept crashing. Surely, for the price, there are many other options. Edit: After owner response: Thank you for the condescending reply - if the renovations were for the guests' benefit, perhaps you should not take bookings during the construction period. I remain unimpressed.

Highly recommended place is good and neat

Great Guesthouse. Parking limited due to a business also being run from the premises. Also rooms are not sound proof. Had 2 evenings of little sleep where the same person had the room next to us and snorred so loud it sounded like a tribe of lions.

Beautiful place, service is wonderful, Environment and surroundings is just wow, a very peaceful place indeed, There's a Wonderful shopping complex, just 2Min away on Foot...

The house is beautiful but very cold and had a strong smell of polish which was unpleasant.

I can prefer something to have a stay there, but they must have a generator when they is Load shedding

Clean, fresh looking rooms. Nice breakfast options and friendly staff. Could do with plug sockets near beds but otherwise a great place to stay!

Lovely venue as we were 3 families visiting each other and others in Bloemfontein. Area outside for Sunday lunch was perfect for a braai together and beautiful big verandas for all the long conversations.

I saw that check in was only till 19h00 and as I only landed at 18h20 I contacted the property to advise I might be late. It came across as if this was an inconvenience to them. However, worst was, it was impossible to sleep. I got back from dinner round 21h30, ari conditioning was working. But I woke at midnight to a very hot room. Aircon had stopped working, nothing I tried could get it to work. It was a very hot night, it was 34 degrees when I checked in. And without the aircon it was stifling in the room. I heard the aircon turn on at 6am, but I was up as I had to leave to drive to Cape Town. What is most disappointing is that when I advised the staff of this, I don't even get a response or a sorry. That is properly poor.
