Beautiful and tranquil. The perfect escape from the city. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The game drives were very informative. I had an incredible weekend there. and would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves nature. Truly an outstanding place.

We celebrated my mother’s 60th birthday here this weekend and we couldn’t have had a more perfect weekend. The birds camp is such a cozy family bonding experience. Very friendly staff and owner. We really felt very welcome and can not thank them enough. Would 100% recommend them for any function/break away.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing break. Their food was incredible and the hosts were amazing. This was a real break and a pleasure and as we did the game drive and while we are both very well informed we still learned so much. We would highly recommend this place to anyone needing a good solid break.

We booked two 4 bed chalets this past weekend. What a lovely place. Each chalet is fully equipped. Bedding and towels are new. The lodge is super clean and the grass kept short. Swimming pools and put-put areas are clean and well maintained. We took a game drive which was interesting and packed with information. We enjoyed it a lot. The perfect place to unwind and relax. Friendly owners who made our stay extra special.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, neat, well looked after campsite. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Tranquil and peaceful. Nice getaway into the bush. Got to see the lions been fed. You can see the owner loves his animals. Campsites are big enough. Beautiful walking trails and enough activities. Extremely reasonable pricing. I really recommend this lovely place.

Truly a beautiful little hidden gem. Friendly staff and management. Beautiful accommodation with a lot of privacy between units, there is a lot of activates you can do. If you visit be sure to ask about the gamedrives and Don't forget the Lions.

Awsome place, neat as a pin , easy access to nature, loadshedding did not bother us at all. The owners and staff go out of their way to make your stay a membrable one. Very pleasant resort, family friendly and clean shared ablutions. Friendly attendance by the staff and owners, I will certainly recommend Tava Lingwe for a quick escape from Gauteng. I hope to be back there soon.

Camping at Tava Lingwe. Beautiful location. Small camping stands. There is no vibe at the swimming pool. I think it needs attention. Approx. 30 minutes to Parys that has shops and restaurants for a day-outing. Game drives are available for the family.

A Awesome place to get away to to revive the soul. Natures own paradise. They have chalets, tents, caravan facilities, 2 pools, putt putt, walking and cycling trails. A Spa and game drives. Lots to do for young and old. Excellent value for money..

We found the staff and management extremely friendly and accommodating. The camp sites are well sized and clean. The ablutions were spotless. They do have a small shop with basics but also not that far from Parys if you have forgotten anything. There is plenty to keep guests entertained. Try their breakfast, definitely a winner...

A quick rest at this little Gem 2 hours drive from JHB. Was unsure what to expect but was really happy with our accommodation. With a double bed and all the self service items you will need for a couple for 2. The staff was friendly and assisted where needed. The place was neat and clean and well looked after. With a heated and non heated pool, put put, hike and game drive I'm sure you will have something to keep you entertained. The game drive was great, learned something new and the animals are well looked after. The lions are a great experience especially to see the lion cubs. Will definitely reccomend them.

Positives: Close to Gauteng (1,5 hours from Jhb) Staff is 1st class, friendly, helpful, go out of their way to assist. Overall upkeep well above average and clean. Lions on the wild drive is an experience. Did not have the opportunity to walk the trails, so can't comment on them. Negatives: Had torrential downpours for two days in a row, campsite became a muddy mess. Drainage not the best, but I guess the amount of rain was definitely not normal. Bathrooms are neat and tidy, but no urinals for men, just toilets, and just not enough of them when the campsite is busy. Water does not work (pumped) when there's load shedding. Nice place for a short breakaway, and to get some rest.

We stayed for the weekend in our caravan. The ablution block is first class, neat stylish and functional. Great bush veld get away without going to to the lowveld. I highly recommend the place. Friendly helpful staff.

Really enjoyed our stay. It's a smaller venue, so less busy than some of the bigger campsites which suited us. Good family feel to the place, with activites for kids to keep them busy. The game drive was excellent, very informative, and the walking trails were good for both shorter walks and trail runs (just doing multiple loops). The camp sites were spacious, didn't feel cramped at all. Will definitely be back!

Great place if you want some quietness and peace. The shared bathrooms for tents and caravan is quite decent

The managers there are the most kind people you will meet, I arrived late one evening around 8 or 9, and was supposed to sleep in a tent, but the owner upgraded me for because they thought the wind was too much. He opened his shop so i could grab some necessities, even Insisted we coule sort it out in the morning. Prices are very reasonable and the location is beautiful. They have game, and from the sounds of it lions. The accommodation was excellent, well furnished with everything sef catering, fresh towels and toiletries. Ablution block is exceptionally clean, well stocked with the things that go along with that and the hot water instant and water pressure excellent. Didn't have time to explore as it was a sleep over only and left the next day, but from my drive in and out everything was neat, clean and well maintained but still feels like the bushveld.. Amazing stay, i would recommend them to anyone. 5 star for sure .

An absolutely delightful place to stay. The family that run are friendly, very helpful and caring. Game drive is worth its money. Camp sites are grassed, level with a few trees, gardens are neat and tidy. We have totally enjoyed our stay and will be back. Awesome place

Geiys* our game ranger for the game drive, was very patient and informative.. infact, from the moment we set foot at Tava Lingwe, we immediately felt at home.. enjoyed playing chess and sight seeing and the game drive was just perfect.. Thank you Geiys for everything, me and my husband felt very welcome and we had a memorable day.

Great tour on the Game Drive, Excellent Ranger who is funny, entertaining and well educated with the prey and the Reserve at large. Big thumbs up and may you guys grow from strength to strength.

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway, walking trails, pools and restaurant. Stayed at the bird camp with a few friends, cabins nice and snug, kitchen very useful with fridges and everything you need! Great atmosphere

Great place for a getaway, if you're looking for piece and quiet. The ablution blocks are clean and neat, there is also alot to do like trails to walk two pools if it gets hot and you can go on a game drive. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful peaceful getaway in nature. The grounds are very well looked after and the people are very friendly. Bathrooms are very clean and there are a lot of activities to keep the kids busy. We camped for the weekend and really enjoyed our time there. Will definitely be visiting again.
