Reception staff not very friendly. They double booked me on a campsite and I was forced to take down my tents on a Sunday afternoon. No alternative accomodation was offered to me and I was forced to leave. Struggled with blocked toilets and drains on Christmas day. Camping sites in decay. Not very child friendly ( see pics). Cancelled all New Years camping plans at this resort.

The food served and the people serving it is always great. The location also is superb. What needs some work to be done and improved on is the air conditioning in the main hall and the same at the rooms.

We came for a day a visit on academic tour, the place is calm and family friendly, the staff was very friendly.

Accommodation was ok but overall the resort is neglected and old. The breakfast at the restuarant however was very nice with wonderful staff

Rooms are not cleaned properly and there are always long power failures that has nothing to do loadshedding

I booked a chalet and instead got a rondavel it was dirty as hell the toilet leak sewerage water if you flush it spiderwebs was hanging from the roof There was small spiders crawling on the beds there is worms in the shower The walls is dirty the basin in kitchen is dirty stove is dirty and the bedbugs bite is I got four dead bedbugs in my bed

It was okay, the kids had fun and we had fun. It's green and clean. The pool is also clean.

This place is horrible! I was shocked to see the condition this place is in and very disgusted with the accommodation. I left immediately and when I asked for a refund they laughed in my face. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

This is a great spot to have that summer day fun with friends and family, they charge an entrance fee and there's loads of fun to be had, you can have nice swims here and braai

Very cheap beds. As a big (140kg) person, the beds were not suitable, and I did not feel rested after our stay. For the amount we paid, I did hope for a better bed

Love going there every year. Camping area is great. Braai area 100%. 17/12/2023 I think to many people was let in. But what do I know. Loved being there ☺️☺️

Dont like that the slide is open for only 20 min it used to be for as long as the kids want from 10 till closing time. And we also never used to pay to go down that is why we pay at the front desk is it not? Do i pay so much money to just swim in the pool.

Had loads of fun and had a peaceful day. Will definitely recommend to everyone else.

Loved the place most especially the location and how open it was inside. There is a spaza shop on site, just wish it had more variety. It's 70 rands per person for entry and cooler boxes entre free.

Much to crowded, bathrooms not clean, and no toilet paper. Grass was in good condition, but the swimming pool was much too small for all the people that were allowed to visit.

Loved it,just made it my number 1 chill out place in Bloemfontein.

Very quiet at this time. No special weekends so there is plenty of parking and the pools are clean. Lots of shaded area. Cool picnic spot for a big group/family.

We spent the night here in a campervan on our way home from the Eastern Cape to Gauteng. I would not recommend this place at all for this purpose. It is 18km from the N1 highway off-ramp which looked great on the map but it is a gravel road in extremely poor condition. You have to brave the very poor gravel or take a very long detour through Bloemfontein which does not make it at all worthwhile. The gravel road would be completely impossible in wet conditions. We arrived at 16:15 on a Sunday. The pool, the shop and slides closed at 17:00. The shop was completely empty. The putt putt course is run down and closed at 17:00. The restaurant was closed. Two of the pools were neglected, resembling fish ponds more than pools. The main pool and the smaller pool in the camp site were ok but the water was also murky and we opted not to swim. I think it more suited to local day visitors seeking a place for a picnic. The camp site was clean, with a private bathroom and kitchenette. There is a beautiful riverbank.

Facilities are out dated and furniture needs to be upgraded as well.

Its a fun outing for you and your family. They have braai areas and a lot of grass and shade but you can bring your own braaier and gazebo and/or umbrella if you want to. Drinks are welcomed the staff are usually very helpful and friendly the 2 super tubes that they have provides hours of entertainment. If have fished in the river before was a lot of fun. You can choose what you want to entertain yourself with. I only camped there twice the toilets bathrooms and showers are very clean and tidy. The braai area at the site was also very nice 👌

Spent a really nice heritage day here. The grass was well kept and lots of nice places to sit. The pool was also nice. Bit disappointed that on top of the entrance fee to the resort you had to pay extra to go on the slides.

The place is extremely cold 🥶, the rooms are colder inside than they are outside, the service was absolutely amazing, friendly workers, overall a good experience, 2 stars only because it was cold
