We
spent
the
night
here
in
a
campervan
on
our
way
home
from
the
Eastern
Cape
to
Gauteng.
I
would
not
recommend
this
place
at
all
for
this
purpose.
It
is
18km
from
the
N1
highway
off-ramp
which
looked
great
on
the
map
but
it
is
a
gravel
road
in
extremely
poor
condition.
You
have
to
brave
the
very
poor
gravel
or
take
a
very
long
detour
through
Bloemfontein
which
does
not
make
it
at
all
worthwhile.
The
gravel
road
would
be
completely
impossible
in
wet
conditions.
We
arrived
at
16:15
on
a
Sunday.
The
pool,
the
shop
and
slides
closed
at
17:00.
The
shop
was
completely
empty.
The
putt
putt
course
is
run
down
and
closed
at
17:00.
The
restaurant
was
closed.
Two
of
the
pools
were
neglected,
resembling
fish
ponds
more
than
pools.
The
main
pool
and
the
smaller
pool
in
the
camp
site
were
ok
but
the
water
was
also
murky
and
we
opted
not
to
swim.
I
think
it
more
suited
to
local
day
visitors
seeking
a
place
for
a
picnic.
The
camp
site
was
clean,
with
a
private
bathroom
and
kitchenette.
There
is
a
beautiful
riverbank.
