Brilliant National Park! Book the Motswedi Tree Top Cottage for a romantic and excellent stay. We didn't even need to go on a game drive as the animals came to us...

What an excellent park a gem which is underutilised. The campsite has only 6 stands which is very nice. The private ablution is spacious it is only the roof at the breakfast nook that need some extension if it rain, which we had a lot. The park will see us again in the near future.

What an amazing experience! We spent two nights at LilyDale Rest Camp and saw so many different species of wildlife. Watering hole at number 10 is a great viewing site. Our children loved their first bush experience and we will definitely visit again. This is a perfect 2 or 3 night stay en route from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

I had been looking forward to this park and it didn’t disappoint. Eland, kudu, hartebeest, ostrich, springbok and of course the starry night l🫢. Lilydale camp was clean and comfortable with a couple of hares and some warthogs. The view of the river down the valley is a beautiful scene when the sun rises.

We enjoyed the game watching very much! The picnic areas are clean and neat, and the toilets were clean, had toilet paper and running water. Accommodation at Mosu Lodge was good. Beds are comfortable and there are enough blankes to stay warm at night, and the units have aircons. Kitchens are well equiped. There is a generator, so loadshedding is not a problem.

This is a beautiful park with a lot of wildlife. We drove from the Lilydale gate and immediately saw various animals on the short drive to Lilydale rest camp. From Lilydale to Mosu rest camp is about an hour's drive, so be sure to have time when visiting the park. Will recommend spending about two days in the park to truly experience it.

What a gem we've discovered! We were referred by a friend and can't thank her enough... We thoroughly enjoyed each moment of our comfortable stay at Mosu Lodge and our extremely rewarding game drive at Mokala National Park. Our unit was situated close to the water hole and we could sit and watch game coming to drink water - until late. The unit was a comfortable, well-equipped and an impeccable home-away-from-home. Animals are plenty - and the variety impressive. The staff excelled and we need to mention the most accommodating Receptionist - if I recall correctly, her name is Emma. She was just so helpful - even provided us with an power extension to keep our fridge running in our vehicle. Parking at reception and having to use miniature trolley's/trailers to transport luggage to the units, were new to us :-) At least we had some exercise! The only 'draw-back' would be the bad condition of the corrugated road one has to travel - but the superb destination justifies the drive. We will most definitely be back to this very, very special park...

Love this park with all its rare animals. The only problem is the gravel roads outside the park is really not good at all, something needs to be done about it. We lost a tire on our way . Inside park gravel roads are good. But will love to visit again.

Very beautiful small park. The accommodation at Lilydale on the Rietriver was perfect. Saw lots of different animals.

Perfect weekend destination for animal lovers. Poor cellphone signal gives you a proper chance to get away from the busy city life. Will definitely visit again!

What a wonderful place. The accommodation was perfect, the staff were friendly, the park was beautiful. But one night's stay was not enough. At least two night's stay must be booked to experience this beautiful place.

Camped at Motswedi. Campsites have no privacy ( except at the ends no 1 and 6) Private ablutions are spotless except no water in hot water taps. Saw SO many animals! Even a Rhino with calf👏😁
