Chobe National Park was a terrific adventure as I get to see elephants, deers, crocodiles, lions, hippopotamus, giraffes and more. During the river cruise, was able to see the different animals swimming, drinking, resting and playing. Was lucky to see a pride of lions going for a hunt and later two lions feeding on their kill. And the sunset was beautiful

Chobe National Park Tour is a must do if you are in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe or in Chobe. Our guide took us on an amazing water safari after a good land safari. What I am amazed is the water safari which is my first time as I have been on numerous land safari earlier in South Africa. Looking at elephants and hippos from water is definitely very very different. We saw lots of birds as well as crocodiles and even buffaloes. This is an experience of a lifetime.

We had 4 days in Chobe and it was amazing. We were staying at the Chobe Marina Lodge and had the same guide throughout. Mike was brilliant. Not just a guide but camera man too. The abundance of animal's, lions, elephant, hippo, buffalo, impala, baboon, birds etc. was wonderful. We spent mornings and afternoons following tracks, bird calls and other guides to find everything mentioned. Mike went above and beyond. The park is beautiful. Africa at its best. Being on the river makes it more special than other safaris we have done over the years. Watching the elephants eating grass in the middle of the river was amazing. We also did 2 river cruises which while very good were in our opinion not as good as the land but we didn't regret them. If you love elephant this is the place to go. Can't explain how special our time there was.

I'm always excited to bring my clients to Chobe National park. The game drives are hosted by the guest house/hotel's own rangers and they know the park well. Their knowledge of wildlife and plants matches the splendour of the park and every game drive is worth it. Try and book the early morning game drive at 5.45am till about 9.30am and also try and do the afternoon game drive if you have some time as both experiences offer great viewing. There is also an option to do the river cruise along the chobe river, which will open your heart to happiness even more.

We did a boat tour of the Chobe National Park in Botswana as part of our August 2013 Anniversary Trip. It was such an amazing place and we must have seen hundreds upon hundreds of wild animals. We got up close and personal with some of the buffalo and giraffes and saw a mega herd of elephants in the distance. It was the tripe of a lifetime and we highly recommend a visit.

My friend are I were able to do an overnight safari here are we were blown away. This has to be one of the greatest places to see animals in this area. Our guide Goms was knowledgeable and as excited to be part of these experiences as we were. We were able to experience elephants, lions, wilderbeast, giraffes, hippos, jackals, leopard, buzzards, and those cute cute maribu storks. We even took our tour in the rainy season and it was a blast! I would suggest this for anyone to visiting this area. immerse yourself.

I had an amazing experience at Chobe National Park in Botswana. Our tour guide from Holiday Africa safaris, by the name of Jacob was the best. Everything we wanted, he made sure we got it and more. Highly knowledgeable in his field and species in the forest. If I had a chance, I will choose the same company again. We saw the "cats" up close and personal with them. The Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, giraffes and the kudos and the antelope. A trip worth every penny

An exhilarating experience travelling from Zimbabwe to Botswana to go on safari to Chobe National Park. The park boasts the big 5 animals of Africa. Our ranger was most experienced and knowledgable which made the game drive so much more exciting. On the agenda was also a boat trip which takes you to a point where the 3 countries Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia meet. After the boat trip you adjourn for a sumptuous lunch which included crocodile steaks on the menu. A momentous day out on safari.

Visited in 2018. Chobe is one of the busiest and most famous parks in Southern Africa, but it's the abundant wildlife and ease of seeing it that makes it one of the best.

A wonderful National Park with herds of elephant, buffalo and giraffe. There are the typical African wild animals although we did not see any rhino. The birdlife was impressive. Loved the sight and sound of the fish eagle. Twice we took a game drive and our guides did not disappoint on both occassions. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, no sealed roads and lots of sand. Would be interesting after rain.

(Translated by Google) This park is just gigantic. We have been able to observe lions in peace. But the countless elephants were gigantic. We have been in great position with the driver and have seen hundreds of elephants with their babies. I will never forget that. It's just a must of this park. Here I was hypnotized by elephants. They can not get out of my head anymore.

We can see a lot of wild animals, especially elephants. Others were hippopotamus, giraffe, Kudu, and so on. We visited there in Feb, 2020 by game drive from Zimbabwe. We were impressed by natural beauty and strength.

The most elephants I've ever seen! We were surrounded by 5 herds of elephants and watched them frolic at a watering hole - and we were the only people present! Also the most giraffes I've seen in one place! The more elusive game like lions and leopards remained elusive. But those elephants were a highlight of our 6 weeks in Africa! They really were the largest elephants!

(Translated by Google) Beautiful natural park that surprised me with the large number of elephants that go down to the river to drink The sunsets are wonderful (I never saw the sunrises because I was sleeping) I visited the park in the dry period (in July) and I was impressed by the contrast between the dry area and a thin strip of green vegetation on the edge of the river Like other parks in Botswana, park management is at a high level and the guides are well trained (Original) Bellissimo parco naturale che mi ha sorpreso per il grande numero di elefanti che scendono al fiume ad abbeverarsi I tramonti sono meravigliosi(non ho mai visto le albe perché dormivo) Ho visitato il parco nel periodo secco(in luglio)e sono rimasto impressionato dal contrasto tra la zona secca e una sottile striscia di vegetazione verde sul bordo del fiume Come gli altri parchi in Botswana la gestione del parco è ad alto livello e le guide sono ben formate

We had great wildlife views in Chobe, including a pride of lions feasting on a buffalo. The proximity of the Chobe River on one side is nice because it allows for river boat viewing rides. We saw plenty from the river as well, and it is more peaceful and less crowded than bumping along in dusty vehicles.

We did a boat tour of the Chobe National Park in Botswana as part of our August 2009 Trip. It was such an amazing place and we must have seen hundreds upon hundreds of wild animals. We got up close and personal with some of the buffalo and giraffes and saw a mega herd of elephants in the distance. Chobe National Park is in northern Botswana near the vast, inland Okavango Delta. It's known for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, antelopes and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh. The floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract numerous bird species, plus migrating zebras. It was the tripe of a lifetime and we highly recommend a visit.

Ive done the two days one night trip with Puku Safaris and I can say that during my 22 days of southern Africa experience, those 2 days were the most unforgettable ever. I saw Leopard, Lions, Zebras, Giraffes, Hipos, Crocolides, dozens of impalas, kudos, pumbas, baboons and of course, many many elephants. The camp is something that left me with no words! My tent had two extremely comfy double beds, carpet, lights and a proper toilet-seat in the back!! The food prepared by them is also unbelievably tasty, considering that we were in the middle of nowhere...All the facilities were just perfect! They do a great job and it’s crazy to imagine that once they leave the camp, they gather and organise everything very fast, properly and the only things left are their footprints. It is the best, most complete and best-price fore sure! I highly recommended Puku Safari! The best of the best! Beyond expectations! Fantastic!

Really amazing place. Took a safari here, and saw many animals up-close (some coming right up to our vehicle) including elephants, giraffes, antelope, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and colorful birds. Recommend very much, though it can get pretty warm, even in the winter, so bring sunscreen and water!

My safari in Chobe National Park was an extraordinary experience. The landscape was breathtaking, with the Chobe River providing a stunning backdrop. Our guide expertly navigated the park, allowing us to witness a remarkable variety of wildlife. The sight of elephants moving gracefully across the plains at sunset was unforgettable. The abundant birdlife added vibrant splashes of color to the experience. It wasn’t just a journey through nature, but a profound journey into tranquility and awe. Chobe is truly a testament to the beauty and spirit of the wild.

Excellent park for game viewing and absolutely beautiful too. It's smaller than other national parks so easy to cover a lot of ground and the wildlife are very used to tourists so you are able to view fairly close. In a day we saw lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, baboons, giraffes, mongooses, crocodiles as well as birds such as eagles and common sightings such as impalas. Highly recommended.

Located in the Kasane region of Botswana, this national park is known for its large elephant population. I took a day trip from Victoria falls town by completing the immigration formalities at Kazungula Border. The tour started with a 4 hours game ride followed by lunch and a 3 hours boat across the Chobe river passing between the Botswana and Namibia border. The highlight of this trip was spotting a male lion just beside our jeep and many beautiful birds with three sightings of monitor lizards. There were hundreds of elephants in the park. One can also camp inside the park after taking the necessary permission. The boat ride was very scenic passing through Botswana and Namibia witnessing the giant and ferocious Nile crocodiles and wild hippos. This is a must-do activity if you are staying in Victoria falls town, Zimbabwe or Livingstone, Zambia

Wanted to have breakfast at chobe safari lodge. Being 3 walk in customers a friendly guy helped us and suggested we go to the bush lodge who apparently does ala carte breakfast.. when we got there they couldnt even tell us if we are allowed to order from the menu nor did they know if breakfast is available. We decided to rather leave.. a lady wanted to link us with the GM - he refused to come out, he instructed the lady to deal with the matter herself (we overheard it from the reception area).
